Heidi has systems in place which help with budgeting, planning meetings, design boards, conference calls, contracts, vendor communication, schedules & venue layout. When signing up with us for full planning services, our first line of business is to discuss budget and explain costs for the big day based on our client's desires. As experienced planners in this growing industry, we know what things cost, which may be pricey for those with big wedding day dreams but it is our goal to present everything upfront so no one is surprised later in the process. For our vendors, we do like to refer our preferred professionals that we trust, have worked with before, because that makes for an excellent creative team for the day. This is why people hire us.   Simply put, our business is not the best fit for everyone – and not everyone’s budget allows for planning services. We are in the business of HAPPY, and we would never want you to cancel your wedding for any one reason! Every bride deserves a wonderful wedding day under a budget that works for them. Without question, and because it was the right thing to do, I offered to refund your non-refundable deposit, cancel your contract, and even sent you catering companies to contact, rentals and venue information to smooth the transition so you can continue planning your wedding. I am pleased that you were grateful for our understanding and consideration of any financial restrictions.   That being said, I’m saddened to see this review but hope that you understand our position. As a small business owner, sticking to your brand, morals, and overall vision is challenging and its hard not to try and align with everyone’s vision and limitations. From our many other reviews, you can see we do a pretty darn good job at receiving a high level of love and trust from our clients. I take pride in knowing that Seacoast Harbor Events always treats our clients with respect and helps bring their visions to life. I wish you only the best in this process moving forward and hope your wedding day is everything you dreamed of!
