This has been on my to do list for {almost} three years now, so I have LOTS to say! Shea is an asset to the wedding community. She and her team are so much more than photographers - they become family! From our first meeting (she brought happies and I love happies), I knew she was the one. It was supposed to be an interest meeting and we left with a lifelong friend and photographer. I feel like so many of my friends have gotten married, received their pictures, and weren’t as happy with them as they wanted to be. Here we are three years later and we are SO happy with our wedding photos. Aside from the big day, she exceeded our expectations for our engagement pictures. She helped us coordinate our outfits and made sure to include certain heirloom pieces that were so special to us. Her communication is amazing.. but also are her work boundaries. It’s very important to me that business owners have punctual response times without being tied to their phones 24/7. Pricing - if there is anything you are going to splurge on for your wedding, let it be the moments that LAST. Your photos and your video are what will help you remember every special detail of your wedding day and THAT is what you want most. Specialties - The detail shots are EVERYTHING! She arrives early to take lots of time photographing the extras - shoes, invitations, jewelry, heirlooms, etc. You will be OBSESSED. Overall - 10/10 recommend Shea Gibson Photography. There are no words that I could possibly use to describe how amazing Shea is! From the very start of our engagement, after talking on the phone for an hour, making sure we were the right fit for each other, we knew she would be the one to document the most special moments of our engagement/wedding. During every session, she made us feel loved, told us what to do so we felt comfortable, and took such beautiful photos! Our wedding day was beyond perfect thanks to Shea’s attention to detail and her wonderful schedule. She did not feel like a vendor at our wedding but more of a friend. How can I describe Shea?? While 100 million words come to mind, I’ll pick a few. Shea is an absolute dream to work with. She is hardworking, kind, incredibly supportive, and professional. Shea makes you feel so comfortable from the first time you talk with her. It’s very clear she cares about you and your needs/wants. She lays everything out for you and works with you to get what you want but to make sure it’s manageable for wedding day. Shea always keeps you smiling and doesn’t make photos feel so staged. Throughout our entire wedding process, Shea was available to answer questions. Since she had never been to my reception venue, we did a walk through the week of the wedding to set the layout and best spots for photos. I mean that’s what I call dedication! I cannot recommend working with Shea enough, she’s awesome!

From the very beginning, Shea was so friendly, personal, and thorough. I never felt pressured or rushed while working with Shea; she just led me through the whole process. I was very thankful for her willingness to go above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us! I cannot even express how happy I am that I chose Shea as my photographer! She perfectly captured all the wonderful moments through our season of engagement and then our wedding day! Honestly, I don’t even know where to start because finding and hiring Shea to capture my wedding was the best decision I made. Going in to my wedding planning, I didn’t have a lot of expectations or ideas about what I wanted and needed. I knew I wanted pretty pictures but didn’t realize how important the pictures would be until I started working with Shea and saw how much value she put on me, my fiancé, our love and our wedding. Shea is truly AMAZING! Her dedication to her craft and to all of her clients is unbelievable, it really is crazy to think that she had other clients than me during the 10 months I worked with her. She gave us so much attention and support, on things outside of just photography, and during these crazy Covid times, we needed all the support we could get. To top it off she has become a close friend and supporter of me which reflected in our photos as well. I was very worried that my husband and I would look awkward or uncomfortable but from the start she positioned us well and made us feel relaxed! While we are still waiting for our full gallery, I can easily say that the 50 “sneak peek” photos are so amazing I don’t even need more, but of course want more! One thing I learned through this process is that there is no point to planning a whole big wedding if you won’t have someone capturing all the memories so you can relive them every day. Shea will capture everything and MORE! She is such a wonderful person and added so much benefit to my wedding and will continue to add so much to my life. Everything was so fun and natural! The engagement session, bridal session, and wedding day exceeded all of my expectations. The amount of time she puts into prep and making sure the bride is prepared for wedding day is incredible! Shea’s second shooter, Tyler, was always making us smile. Shea’s assistant, Chrissy, was so helpful! She held my bouquet, adjusted my dress, fixed my hair, and always made sure everyone was where they needed to be. Besides Shea being just an absolute God send, her pictures are amazing! Shea was recommended by a friend who had previously worked with her in a different wedding. When I say I am SO thankful for the referral, I absolutely mean it. Professional, fun-loving, energetic, boss lady, all the things you need on the biggest day of your life—Shea. Is. It. I was extremely honest with her since day 1 that my (now) husband and I are totally not detail-oriented people outside of our work life, and we needed someone who would handle all the details of how to run wedding photography smoothly. Wow. Where do I even begin? I started out booking a photographer and ended up with one of the truest friends I could imagine. I feel like I should start off by mentioning her amazingly, loving, passionate and hilarious personality. She made the entire process so fun and such an amazing experience/memory to treasure. From the very beginning Shea was there to help with anything we needed and answer all questions (even those that were not photography related). She also made a facebook group for all of her up coming brides so we could have a sense of community and support during this stressful season of our lives. Before the wedding, she made sure to coordinate with my other vendors and day of coordinator so I did not have to worry about a thing because she had taken care of it all! The day of went so smoothly because Shea was in charge of the entire timeline. I feel the need to mention that I think she cried more that day and during the ceremony than anyone else because she truly cares SO deeply about her couples. She made us feel so loved. After the wedding, my husband and I had planned to spend a few nights in NewOrleans for a small honey moon but unfortunately it was in a state of emergency evacuation due to the flooding so we could not make it. Shea was aware of this and the next day she called us and offered to let us use the condo in Alabama that she and her husband had booked for a vacation. Who does that? No other photographer is going to care for you the way that Shea will. Shea, it was such an honor to get to work with you and experience you passion and love for serving others. We love you!

Shea was absolutely fantastic to work with! She listened to what I wanted, took our style into consideration, and picked the perfect location for our photos. Taking pictures and posing can feel awkward at times, but Shea made us feel comfortable right from the start. Taking pictures with her was easy and fun!
