Overall, working with Sheila exceeded my and my husband's expectations. She has such a down-to-earth personality, as she was so accommodating to all of my requests: with a last-minute engagement shoot location change and any inspiration pictures I sent her. She is creative, she is skilled, she is prompt to get your pictures to you, and she delivers the product she portrays in her Instagram and full galleries. Every experience with Sheila was beyond perfect! I am so thankful I found Sheila for our engagement pictures and our wedding day. Our friends and family still rave about how great our pictures look when we talk about our wedding. After finding some photographers that I liked on instagram, but didn't sell me after looking through their full albums, Sheila sent me a handful of albums that gave me a sigh of relief. I noticed that she captured couples and the events of the day so beautifully - from the tones she used for her edits and the angles she captured. The style of her photography felt so natural and romantic to me. My husband wasn't too keen to do an engagement shoot initially after another photographer (not Sheila) who shot our engagement day left us underwhelmed. Specifically, she didn't tell him to fix his hair so it was looking crazy in some of our best shots and she sent us an underwhelming amount of pictures considering the cost. Considering our experience, I insisted on doing another set and Sheila completely changed his mind about the value of engagement pictures. She knew exactly what to do throughout the Biltmore Estate to give us both the mountain and city shots I was asking her for. Sheila made us both feel so comfortable by giving us direction but also allowing us to interpret her direction and cheering us on even when it wasn't what she expected. My husband ended up loosening up and having SO much fun with it - the proof is in the pictures :) On the wedding day, she came in with such great energy and used our venue space so well - considering the sunlight we were getting, how private we could get considering the scenarios we were in, and pulling us away for a late-night shoot. The pictures were the artful and romantic style I expected from her, but also portrayed the fun and electric energy from the reception Thank you, Sheila, for giving us the most beautiful memories!

I LOVE Shelia so much! She’s literally the best! Honestly the sweetest person ever and she made our engagement & wedding so much fun. She is the photographer that you can sit and scroll through her photos for hours because her work is just beautiful and amazing! I’m and ICU nurse and it’s so hard for me to be in the spotlight but Sheila made me feel so comfortable during my wedding and I honestly would not have made it through the day without her :) She’s hands down the best, I don’t consider her as just my wedding photographer but a friend now!

Speechless . My pictures are breath taking and that’s all thanks to Sheila . She was so fun to work with . I’m usually kind of shy when a camera is on me but that’s the furthest thing on my wedding day. Sheila made me feel so comfortable while taking pictures and it was so fun, and easy ! definitely a memorable moment I’ll never forget between my husband and I . Family and friends also loved her which was so nice to hear ! I have never been to a wedding and have people say “ I loved your photographer she was so fun “ every single person loved Sheila . I stare at my pictures everyday !

Sheila was a dream to work with! We were an out of state destination wedding and therefore, didn't have a chance to meet Sheila until the day of our wedding. That being said, after our initial facetime, we felt confident that one of the most important tasks was in good hands. She was professional and accommodating throughout the whole process even when we made adjustments to the contract and adding an additional photographer. The day of she was very organized and put us at ease to capture the most beautiful pictures. She guided us through poses and made us smile along the way :) After receiving our photos, they instantly let us relive the moments big and small. We can't thank Sheila enough for capturing the the essence of our love, our people, and our day!

What can I say about Sheila… Really, no words can express how thankful I am of her. She captured my wedding EXACTLY how I wanted it. I said to her, dark romance/moody and boy did she deliver. The whole process from start to finish was great. She responded back to me very quickly, asked me a lot of questions, answered many of my questions and made the whole thing easy sailing. The same for our engagement photos too. During the wedding she captured everything, even the parts of the wedding I couldn’t see cause I was out and about busy. I’ve never met such an amazing photographer and I plan on using her for any other event in the future. I hope this helps!

Sheila really was "the best ever"! She felt like a long time friend throughout the whole process, honestly. She is so personable and makes you feel so comfortable when taking pictures (which can sometimes feel awkward). On our wedding day she was so organized and captured every picture we hoped for (even when we threw some last minute requests at her). I truly cannot recommend her highly enough.

I stumbled upon Sheila's beautiful work after learning about her through my boss who happened to be her brother-in-law & I instantly fell in love! I knew we had to book her for our wedding - & for those reading - IT'S A MUST! Period. I met her over a year before our wedding & she was the sweetest and most genuine person ever. We were also lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to her for our engagement photos as well & afterward I felt so at peace with choosing Sheila for our wedding! Fast forward to now, we absolutely LOOOVEE our wedding photos! They are romantic, natural, and soo dreamy - she masterfully captured our magical day. I would recommend her a thousand times over!!! Where do I even begin with how amazing Sheila is!!! I originally met Sheila when she photographed a friends wedding that I was in and I fell in love with her photos. So once I got engaged she was the first person I reached out to for photos. My engagement photos were the dreamiest! It ended up being super foggy that day but she made the photos look so amazing with the fog. Originally our wedding was planned for May 30th 2020 but then COVID hit and we had to cancel the big day. We decided to still do something small and Sheila was able to photograph our mini wedding and did such an amazing job. Fast forward to 2021 and we had a wedding reception with all our closest family and friends and Sheila captured that day as well. Having her do all three events was so amazing and she was the most fun to have around! She really makes you so comfortable in front of the camera and captures everything so perfectly. I seriously cannot recommend her enough!

I just want to say . BOOK HER NOW!! Sheila caught my eyes when I #NCphotographer. Her work alone is so stunning, I knew I had to hire you. I am so happy that I found Sheila , her work is absolutely stunning and she captures true moments that speak loud loving words through her lenses! She far exceeded our expectations. We can quite awkward when it comes to photographing on spot lol as you can imagine we where a little nervous lol. People often say that choosing a wedding photographer is one of the most important things to do when wedding planning, and I can confidently say that choosing Sheila to be our photographer was very much so one of the BEST decisions we made while wedding planning!! From the very first contact we had with her, we got the sense that she was not just a vendor, but a friend - she cared about us as a couple and cared about our vision. Throughout planning, Sheila was helpful and communicative, we had such a blast during our engagement photo shoot, even when we thought it might be awkward - it wasn't! On the actual day of our wedding, Sheila and her team were an absolute dream to work with. She was helpful throughout every part of the day, naturally knew what shots we wanted/needed, helped with herding family, helped down to every single detail including fixing my veil and dress. When we received our photos back - WOW, there were no words to convey how beautiful they are. We could not have imagined anything more spectacular, and our wedding surely would have not been the same without Sheila. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Would recommend always to everyone we know.

We have nothing but positive feedback and praise for Sheila! She was personable, prompt, professional, and really really fun. The photos speak for themselves, but we are thrilled with the end result. On a big day with a lot going on, she made the whole experience of the shoot seem really easy and effortless. Her experience is quite obvious, and knowing when to give us space or step in for photos was something she navigated very well. Hope to get the chance to work with her again one day!

I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience working with Sheila and the photographs she captured on our wedding day. My husband and I are not great when it comes to posing for pictures, but Sheila made it so easy and natural and captured all of our special moments throughout the day. She went above and beyond to find the perfect spots and lighting and I absolutely plan to use her in the future for other special occasions! My only regret is not booking additional hours to have more beautiful pictures to look back on!

We cannot say enough good things about Sheila. She was very easy to work with through the planning process, quick to respond and flexible to accommodate our plans and what we were looking for. On the day of, we just fell in love with her! Neither my husband or I are very comfortable in front of the camera but she immediately put us at ease. She gave us great direction on what to do, gave us options along the way so we only did what we were comfortable with & she knew when we needed to just laugh it out. When we got our previews we couldn't believe it - I keep saying she's magic because the photos are so beautiful. She is incredibly talented, we are so in love with our photos and would work with her over and over again. If you are getting married in the area, absolutely book her!

If there were an option to give more than 5 stars I would! We cannot recommend her highly enough. She has such an amazing eye and an effortless talent. She was very easy to work with for our elopement being flexible and patient with our evolving plans. Most of all, she made the whole experience so memorable and fun which really shows in the photos! She went above and beyond our expectations for the day and when we received the final product, we were honestly speechless and couldn't stop looking at them. I... don’t quite know how to put this womans talent into words. Sheila has been so kind, understanding and easy to work with. She took a rough situation that our wedding photographer left us with and made it fantastic. We had a location snafu the evening we were originally supposed to meet and we ended up missing sunset. Instead of throwing in the towel for the shoot, Sheila suggested we meet up the next morning at 6am to drive to the top of a mountain. We got sneak peaks the NEXT day! Our ‘before sunrise at Oak Mountain pictures’ are photos we will hang on our walls for years to come. I sat there looking through our gallery (also can we talk about that less than three week turn around time??) and just paused on several pictures with tears in my eyes. They are stunning. And perfect. The framing, the colors, the vibe, the eye... I can go on. Plus, she LISTENS (why is that rare with photographers?) to preferences (like we’d love some under the veil shots) and ideas and those “hey, can we get one like...” Let’s just say I have no complaints! You will not regret booking Sheila!

As you can see in the photos, Sheila is an AMAZING photographer. We hired her for our engagement and wedding photos, and it's one of the best decisions we've made! We absolutely LOVED our engagement photos, and appreciated the opportunity to get in front of a camera before our big day. Once our wedding day arrived, Sheila made us feel like pros! She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and her pictures reflect that! She stayed so relaxed on our wedding day (even when our timeline got bumped back after hair and makeup). She never rushed us and got so many gorgeous shots! She has such an amazing eye for this! Though we've received just a preview of our photos (as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago), I can tell they are going to be perfect. She captured the smallest of moments that mean so much to us! I cannot recommend her enough! You will fall in love with your photos!!

Sheila did an absolutely amazing job photographing our wedding day. We were so grateful to be referred to her somewhat last minute due to change with our photography plan. We knew just from looking at her instagram and website that she was the one for us. We had an intimate wedding at a historic lodge in the mountains, and she captured it perfectly. The photos are breathtaking and really showcase the amazing venue we chose and our love. She was so friendly and we immediately hit it off with her. She has such a fun way of getting the best candid shots and I'll always remember that. We felt so relaxed and carefree when she was taking our photos. We recently had our engagement session with Sheila & we cannot say enough good things about her. We’ve been back & forth on email for months (I booked waaaay in advance) and she is always SO responsive and helpful, even down to the tiny details to get us ready for our session. My fiancé and I have never been professionally photographed together, so we didn’t know anything about posing, etc. Our session with Sheila was SO FUN and felt so natural. We honestly had a blast, it was just like hanging out and chatting with a friend (who in reality is an extremely talented photographer you just met :)) she sent us some sneak peaks basically in the blink of an eye and they truly blew us away. We already can’t wait to work with her again on our wedding day next fall!

If you want the best photos, best wedding day experience, and another person to help make the most stressful day an absolute breeze, then this is your gal!! I had so many things to personalize my wedding day and the wedding packages she offers fit into that perfectly! The only stress I had when it came to pictures is that my husband shuts down at the sight of a camera. Like HATES taking pictures. She pulled some quirky tricks out of her hat and I now have the most beautiful wedding pictures a girl could ask for, all of them showing what a hunk my husband is ❤️

Hands down the most AMAZING photographer!!! I randomly found her on Instagram ( before that was a thing). Through out the whole process ( first inquiry to photo delivery) she was SO kind! She worked with our short time line and small budget. My husband and I often reflect on our wedding day and without fail every time we bring up how great Sheila was. She captured our love and joy in the most beautiful way! She used fun and thoughtful prompts ( we still use them today for family pictures) rather then over posing us, making the experience so relaxing. We truly treasure the time on our wedding day that was just the three of us. As well, the way she edits is amazing, she is truly an artist!! We LOVE every image we have from that day, thanks to her! We cannot thank Sheila enough for how beautifully she captured the most meaningful moments of our wedding day! From our personal vows hike in the morning to the large wedding ceremony in the evening, Sheila was up for each adventure and skillfully captured the emotions and purpose behind each of the unique elements of the day. Sheila was the first photographer we reached out to... Before we knew it, we had been chatting with her for over an hour about not only our wedding plans but about just us in general! After that kind of immediate connection, we knew there was no need to call any of the other photographers on our list. My husband and I were able to instantly connect with Sheila, which went a long way for two individuals who typically don’t get in front of a camera. She made our engagement photos incredibly fun and relaxed by asking up simple questions which created images that looked and felt like us. Omg.... I want to cry just thinking about my wedding photos! They are absolutely stunning and Sheila truly captured every single detail of my wedding day so beautifully. Looking at my photos brings right back to that moment in time. She made me feel like a true queen that day and assisted my Husband and me into poses that didn't make us look or feel silly at all. Sheila is incredible to say the least! From engagement photos to our wedding day photos, her photography is out of this world! From the moment you meet her you feel like she’s a great friend you’ve known for years! On top of all of that her artistic ability is unmatched!! I seriously cried with joy after receiving the final edits. She captures all the emotions your feeling on your special day so you can relive them over and over. She captured moments I didn’t even realize she was there for and the images really have me reliving the best day of our lives. I cannot recommend her enough. Our photos are BREATHTAKING! Sheila is absolutely incredible! She drove almost 2 hours to give me the engagement pictures I wanted. I didn't want staged photos, and that is what drew me to her work in the first place. She gave us lose directions on how to stand, but kept the conversation going the whole time and captured all the awesome moments in between. We also brought our dalmatian puppy, and even though she was an absolute nightmare Sheila worked with all 3 of us and even got some awesome pictures with our puppy in them! Highly, highly recommend her- she's a wonderful photographer and an even better person. :)
