Offering a wide range of customizable menus in a number of serving styles, Sheild Catering works to ensure that your feast is one enjoyed by all your guests. Their priority is always that their clients enjoy the meal provided to them. However, their focus is also on sourcing their supplies from the highest-quality suppliers offering locally-sourced, organic produce. Vegan, allergen-aware options are always available. Sheild Catering begins every client relationship with a free consultation. During this, they can learn more about your needs while fine-tuning their menu to your tastes. On the day, they will be there to set up, serve, and take down all their equipment, giving you one less thing to worry about on your wedding day.

I am so greatful for the opportunity to share the absolute love of experience, taste and wonder I believe food should be. in 2014 I started this company to bring more sustainable jobs and catered services to this area while sharing my collection simple, beautiful and delicious recipes. Since then we have grown to a team 45 people strong and flourished more than I could have hoped for. I cannot wait for you to meet our amazing team because we singlemindedly execute some of the most beautiful and delicious catered events I have ever seen.

at a reasonable price. They even packed up any leftovers for us, including a special box for the bride and groom.

I am extremely disappointed by the service and professionalism of this company, and would urge people to steer clear. We hired them to do bartending for us on our wedding night, ...

and they hired first time bartenders and did not batch make cocktails as we had planned. As a result, the lines were incredibly long (our friends weren’t on the dance floor because they were in line), and the cocktails did not taste at all like they did during our tasting. We brought this up after the wedding and they agreed to give us a partial refund. This was over 9 months ago and they haven’t returned any of our calls or emails since then. They are clearly still operating but just avoiding us… It’s very unprofessional to provide a significantly subpar service and then not deliver on a promised refund (that was in writing). I really hate writing bad reviews for small businesses but given this is a customer service driven industry, this is just unacceptable behavior and I want others to know before deciding to continue with Sheild.

nted every aspect of the food, from the beautiful grazing board, delicious entrees, and yummy DIY s'mores bar. I honestly have never heard any guest compliment the food that often at a wedding, but it just speaks to how great everything was. Definitely recommend hiring Sheild for any of your wedding catering needs in Central Oregon!

or our guests. We had a last-minute guest inquiry regarding food allergies and Dan and his team were quick to make a special meal to cater to our guest’s needs. On the day of, our food was amazing and everything we asked for! Our guests were raving about how great the food was, and we could not agree more. The crew assigned to our wedding was great, they were very helpful and the service during our cocktail hour and buffet dinner was outstanding! The only issue we ran into was the handling of leftovers and saving food at the end of the night. We reached out to Dan separately to discuss this, and he was very responsive and answered our questions. Overall, Sheild and Dan were a pleasure to work with and were a very special part of our big day!

Sheild catered our wedding this summer with the most delicious food and the best service. We also hired our amazing "day"-of-coordinator, Amelia, through Sheild. We had to postpone...

our original wedding date due to COVID-19 and Shield worked with us on changing dates and the almost daily changes that occurred with COVID-19 regulations. They were well organized and good at communicating, especially through the many changes. Everything they made for us was amazing and we loved that guests could get some of everything they didn’t have to choose. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and just delicious. Some of our personal favorites were the salmon, the grilled peach and goat cheese crostini, and the lavender lemonade! They were so helpful with packing up the few leftovers we had and making sure all of the guests got served in a timely manner. Amelia was also amazing with working with us during the pandemic. She was one of our most organized vendors and was in constant communication with us and our other vendors as well. She helped us with the timeline, did a fantastic job with set up/tear down, and made everything run smoothly. I mean, I never expected everything would run perfectly on schedule (it was a wedding after all), but thanks to Amelia it did! So many of our other vendors, friends, and family all contacted us to tell us how helpful and nice Amelia was. She made us feel so special and like she was our friend throughout the entire process. We are so grateful she worked with us leading up to and on our wedding day, I don’t think we could have managed our wedding without her. All of that to say, we strongly recommend Sheild catering and Amelia for any coordinating needs!

ith Sheild was via phone/email. They were very responsive and I definitely felt at ease with them taking care of the food. And my guests raved about the food! My husband's father is vegan, so we chose a few vegan options and not only he, but other members of our family loved them! Personally the meatball appetizers were my favorite :)! They were also kind enough to set up a site visit the day before the wedding so I could show them where I wanted items placed and when, and they were extremely accommodating! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a wedding caterer in the Eugene area!
