Shelby is INCREDIBLE!!! She is not only a phenomenal photographer, but an amazing woman as well. I have had the pleasure of working with her as a bride and a bridesmaid and she was...
perfect both times. Shelby captures the moments with grace and experience. Her handle on lighting is immaculate! She was my first vendor to book and I am so happy that I was able to have her capture my special day. Shelby is a calm and warming presence on the wedding day and detailed in the planning process as well. I cannot recommend her enough!!!
I booked Shelby very early on in my planning process because I knew I had to have her. From our very first phone call she put some wedding nerves at ease. She is so easy to talk to...
and was truly a breath of fresh air on my wedding day!! She has a wonderful eye and I fell in love with her editing style. Nothing is overly done or changed. She just makes you look and feel beautiful with natural colors and timeless edits that I know I will love forever. Her second photographer was also amazing (as I’m sure everyone she works with is!!). My husband and I did not do a first look so they spent time going back and forth to each get ready space making sure we never overlapped and they did a fantastic job. Shelby also built out an entire photo timeline for me that saved hours of work on my end. She sent a very thorough questionnaire a few weeks out with all the photos I had requested as well as spaces to fill in all family members names and order of pictures. It made cocktail hour so smooth and gave my husband and I more time for our couples pictures. I highly recommend booking this sweet soul for you wedding!! I can’t wait to get our gallery back and relive the day through her eyes!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Shelby. Her warmth, genuine kindness, and calming presence makes her stand out.
She has an incredible gift for capturing the most authe...
ntic moments without ever making us feel posed or unnatural. We felt completely comfortable the entire time, and it honestly felt like having a close friend with us throughout the day!!! She will be your personal hype gal, guaranteed.
When we received our photos, we were absolutely blown away. Every image is filled with emotion, beauty, and all the little details we didn’t even realize she had noticed. We are in love with the pictures—and so is everyone else! We've received countless compliments and can’t stop scrolling through them ourselves… From our engagement photos to our wedding sneak peeks!! We can’t wait to see the full gallery, I know it will be so amazing.
If you're looking for a photographer who is not only incredibly talented but also kind, thoughtful, and just a joy to be around—look no further. We are so grateful for Shelby Day Photography!!!
Shelby was truly a joy to work with. From the initial call to our engagement shoot, to the bridal shoot and finally the wedding day, Shelby made such an important part of our lives...
so magical and special. Not only is she easy to talk to and be comfortable around, but she also truly makes a point to get to know her couples. I would recommend Shelby to anyone and everyone. Her work is beautiful and her attention to the little details is prestige. While we were on our honeymoon, she sent us a sneak peek of some of our photos and we just can't wait to see the rest of her work! She is based in the Houston area but does travel if needed. I truly could not have picked a better person and photographer to be a part of our special day.
We booked Shelby for our wedding on April 13th (we usually aren't review-type people, hence why this took so long to do lol) and I cannot recommend her enough! My now-husband and I...
both consider ourselves slightly awkward, unphotogenic people. Between our engagement session with Shelby and the wedding day pictures themselves, I don't think there was a single picture that she gave us that we didn't love. She is incredibly fun, sweet, and great to work with! Shelby gives a great balance of direction for posing as well as embracing the natural beauty of your special day. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and is incredibly talented and passionate about her job. Since our wedding, I regularly look through our pictures and find myself tearing up at just how magical it all was. If you're looking for a photographer to truly capture your special moments, look no further than Shelby Day!

ed the overwhelming love and happiness that we experienced throughout this phase of our lives and we will truly cherish her photographs for a lifetime. Shelby was a joy to work with from the beginning and brought so much light into our wedding experience. She assisted with vendor recommendations, wedding day timelines and was always available to answer a question or lend a helping hand. We did nothing but laugh and enjoy our time during photo shoots and she did a wonderful job at guiding us along the way. She has the most artistic eye and her photos are one of a kind. I would highly recommend Shelby for your wedding and/or photography needs!

n front of the camera! Second, Shelby is an artist with her cameras! Everyone in my life continues to be in awe of her photos, her perspective and the way she is able to catch such true emotion through her photos! Shelby is so incredibly helpful she was my first vendor, after my venue, I booked and she truly guided my planning process with all the resources she provided! sessions always went naturally and with such joy. She managed to get big smiles from my fiance!!! She was seamless with capturing special moments as well as making sure we got the most gorgeous lighting. Shelby even handled my large and overly excited family members with such grace. She understood the ins and outs of our wedding timeline and still squeezed in extra private photo session.
