Working with Shelby was an absolute gift. From the very beginning, she made every step of the planning process feel easy, calm, and completely manageable. Her ability to stay colle...
cted (even when things got hectic) set the tone for the entire experience and helped me stay grounded throughout.
One of the things I appreciated most was how intentionally she took the time to get to know me. Because she understood my personality, my priorities, and the little details that mattered, her day‑of decisions felt thoughtful, intuitive, and perfectly aligned with what I envisioned. It never felt like guesswork; it felt like partnership.
Shelby truly thought of everything. Anytime I needed something, she was already there, already prepared, already anticipating the next step. Thanks to her, the wedding day felt seamless not only for me, but for my family, guests, and vendors. Everyone kept commenting on how smooth and effortless the day felt and that was entirely because of her and her team.
Beyond all of the professionalism and organization, she was just fun! She brought joy, warmth, and great energy to every interaction, making the process feel lighter and more enjoyable.
I couldn’t imagine our wedding without Shelby. She made it beautiful, stress‑free, and unforgettable. ❤️
Shelby, Ally, and Addie were incredible! Shelby was easy to communicate with, and was super helpful with a vendor that was a challenge to get ahold of. The comfort of knowing that ...
Shelby and her team had our backs was incredible, and let me fully let go and enjoy our wedding day. I can not imagine our day without the support of Shelby and her team!
We truly cannot say enough good things about Shelby. From the very beginning, she made the entire wedding planning process feel so much less overwhelming. We are not the best at st...
aying on task, and Shelby was incredible at keeping us moving forward without ever making us feel bad about it. She was organized, patient, and always seemed to know exactly what we needed to be thinking about next. I honestly don't know how we would have planned our wedding without her.
She also had an amazing list of vendor recommendations, and every suggestion she made was so helpful. She was incredibly detail-oriented and constantly brought up things we never would have thought of ourselves. She somehow managed to be both extremely organized and incredibly calming, which was exactly what we needed throughout the process. We genuinely looked forward to every meeting with her.
One thing that really showed us what kind of planner Shelby is happened just days before our wedding. Our cake vendor had a power failure and wasn't going to be able to provide our wedding cake. Without us having to figure anything out, Shelby went out of her way to make sure we still had a cake and even sent one of her employees to pick it up during our wedding. It ended up being such a huge and amazing surprise, and it was something we never had to worry about because she had already taken care of it.
And on the wedding day itself, we didn't have to worry about a single thing. Shelby and her team had everything completely under control, which allowed us to actually be present and enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about what was happening behind the scenes. Her team did an amazing job, and everything ran so smoothly.
Most importantly, Shelby was just a joy to work with. She has such a calming presence, but she's also someone you naturally trust and listen to. She made a process that could have been incredibly stressful feel manageable and, honestly, really fun.
We would recommend Shelby to anyone planning a wedding. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made, and we truly don't think our wedding would have gone nearly as smoothly without her.
All I can say is WOW. Shelby and her team are absolutely amazing. We felt so cared for throughout the entire coordination process. Looking back, I honestly cannot imagine our weddi...
ng day without Shelby and her team by our side.
Leading up to the wedding, they handled all communication with our vendors flawlessly. They provided so many helpful tips and recommendations that made a huge difference in how smooth and enjoyable the planning process was.
I also have to give a special shout-out to Denae and Ally, who were with us on our wedding day. They were both incredibly attentive, organized, and supportive. Because of them, I was able to be fully present with my family and friends instead of worrying about logistics. They worked seamlessly with our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly and our day was a complete success. You are both absolute gems, and I can't thank you enough.
When planning a wedding, I know many couples are thoughtful about the investments they're making. Looking back, hiring Shelby and her team was one of the best decisions we made. They played such an important role in creating a stress-free planning experience and the wedding day of our dreams.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

ul—every single detail was anticipated and handled with care. Because of her, I was truly able to be present and soak in every moment of such a special day without stress.
Even before the wedding, getting coffee with Shelby meant so much to me. She never once made me feel rushed and truly made me feel heard and seen, taking the time to understand what mattered most to us.
On the day of, she was phenomenal with our vendors, venue staff, family, and everyone involved, keeping everything running smoothly and seamlessly. Her calm confidence and attention to detail made all the difference. I cannot recommend Shelby enough—she is worth her weight in gold.

n was fantastic, she caught all the details that needed catching, provided super helpful tools to make sure we have everything on our end organized, and helped execute our big day perfectly. 10/10 would recommend!
We keep joking about what things we’ll do better/differently “next wedding” 🤣, but hiring someone other than Shelby isn’t on the list.
Thanks so much Shelby!!
Shelby and her team are an absolute dream. In short: Hire them without question. My husband and I hired the team for full wedding coordination, which I was nervous about doing. The...
n, my nerves turned into deep relief and gratitude. Shelby was with us every step of the way - helping us stay on track, introducing potential vendors, bringing us things we hadn’t considered… and ultimately helping us bring everything together so that our wedding was perfect for us. It was more than projected management and “coordination”, Shelby is a magician where no detail is lost and she’s kind about making everything happen. She was the backbone of our wedding. And, she easily integrated into our community with our family and friends. Hire them, hire them, hire them! Their support is invaluable. You’ll write a review like this one day and be honored to recommend Shelby and her team to your family and friends (like I am).

ted for the big day. She took on so much behind the scenes, which lifted a huge weight off our shoulders and allowed us to actually enjoy the process.
Shelby and Ally’s day-of coordination was absolutely amazing. Everything ran so smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. They even made sure we had dinner plates, drinks in hand, and that we got to try our appetizers (which we definitely would’ve missed otherwise!).
If you’re planning a wedding, we highly recommend Shelby. She’s professional, thoughtful, and just so good at what she does. We’re so grateful to have had her on our team!
Shelby KILLED IT! We had some pretty uncommon & specific ideas for what we wanted and Shelby made everything happen. She was SO organized, provided all the helpful materials, met w...
ith us and collaborated on the creative side throughout the process, and helped us maintain the core wedding traditions while being bold & challenging the ordinary in others (for example, I wanted to get married on stage of a music venue & told her I’d settle with not having an aisle… but nope, she had the idea to have stairs rented/built and made the aisle moment happen!).
She connected us to all the vendors that aligned with our vision and they all executed it to perfection (even when we said we hoped for a wedding DJ that would swap with an EDM DJ in the final hour… she found one that could do both!!). She was warm and positive, detailed, excellent at facilitating vendor communications, and just so fun to work with!!!

throughout the planning process and was always there with thoughtful guidance whenever I felt unsure or overwhelmed.
Shelby went above and beyond, even stepping in to help with rental coordination when it became too stressful for me. I felt so supported the entire time, and by the time the big day arrived, I was able to relax and truly enjoy it, knowing she had everything under control.
The day of the wedding went so smoothly thanks to her and her wonderful team. We got to be fully present with our loved ones while they handled all the behind-the-scenes logistics. Shelby genuinely cares about her couples, and it shows in every detail.
If you're looking for a coordinator who is kind, professional, and deeply invested in making your day special, I highly recommend Shelby and her team.

t meeting, she was organized, calm, and completely in tune with our vision. Although we technically booked her for the month of she did not make it feel that way. She was consistently checking in to see how we were doing months before and if I had any questions she was always on top of it and willing to help, which we really appreciated.
On the big day, I truly didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Which, if you didnt know, is Shelbys main goal, for the bride and groom to be fully present on their wedding day. And that was definitely the case, without a doubt. If the tent was on fire I would have had no idea. Shelby and Ally handled everything calmly, carefully and without me having to even ask. Everything ran so smoothly because of them, and any last-minute hiccups were handled behind the scenes like magic.
Beyond the logistics, Shelby and Ally are truly just two incredible people. They were so kind, warm and happy the entire day and every meeting leading up. We felt genuinely cared for throughout the whole experience.
Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives, and that would not have been possible without them. If you’re even thinking about hiring a planner, DO IT!
Forever grateful,

tress-free day not only for ourselves but for our families as well, since we knew they wanted to be involved. We wanted to be completely present in the moment on our wedding day and that is when we found Shelby Donald & Co. We decided to go with the Elevated Month of Coordination route, and Shelby not only provided the necessary tools and outlines to ensure our wedding planning went smoothly, but she was receptive to any and all questions we had along the way. Every time I met with Shelby, the wedding planning nerves would go away!
Day of wedding, Shelby and team executed everything flawlessly and ensured the flow of our wedding remained on track. This allowed my husband and I to truly soak up every moment and focus on the big picture. Shelby was very communicative, compassionate, and incredibly supportive throughout the entirety of the wedding process. Shelby Donald & Co. exceeded all expectations we had, and we felt so incredibly lucky to have Shelby along our side on our day. She went above and beyond to ensure our day was nothing short of perfection.

n McCall, ID. She coordinated all of the vendors for snow removal, outdoor flooring, heating, seating, the bar, DJ, photos, shuttles back to Shore Lodge, and then everything else back at the lodge for dinner. We were really able to be present for our wedding, not having to worry about the organization side of things. Everything went smoothly and we had the wedding we dreamed of. Thank you Shelby!

as incredibly organized, sweet, and knowledgeable. She outlined a plan for us that allowed us to feel like we were super on top of planning every step of the way and she kept us from feeling overwhelmed at any point during the planning process. Every meeting we had with Shelby made us feel more confident and excited about our wedding day and she always answered our questions before we even asked. One amazing thing (even though there are a million) about Shelby is that she genuinely invests in your wedding as if it were her own! For our wedding, Shelby generated so much excitement around each and every detail from the table linens to the vendors and everything in between, Shelby matched and exceed our enthusiasm. On wedding day, Shelby was so helpful, kind, organized, and just overall amazing and there was never a moment that we doubted or questioned her skills and therefore never felt stressed on our special day. Not only can we call Shelby our wonderful wedding planner, but we feel very grateful to be able to call her a friend as well. We often say that we would go back and do the whole process again because we had so much fun! This was in large part thanks to Shelby and her guidance along the way. If you hire Shelby, you are in the best hands! It is a decision that will make you look back on your special day as fondly as we do. We couldn’t be more thankful for her!!!!!

listened to what our vision was and what items were most important to us and executed above and beyond what we could have ever imagined!
I felt like I could trust Shelby with anything and I knew she had our back throughout the whole process. She was always giving helpful suggestions, reminders, checking in, making sure we felt good and stress-free the whole time. She allowed us to be present on not only our wedding day, but whole week leading up to it because we knew how organized she was and that everything had been taken care of. She has such a calm presence and made us feel at ease with every decision.
Shelby is absolutely incredible at what she does and it was also apparent how respected she is by all of our other vendors. I will forever be grateful for her and the memories she helped create that will last my husband and I a lifetime. I would hire her 1000x over and thankful we made a friend throughout the process as well :)

ing someone to handle all the details that were floating around in my head, but from the first phone call with Shelby all the way to now, the week after the wedding, I have been fully calm and present, knowing that she had everything under control. Not only did she take the time to fully understand our vision for our day, but she also was there for the months leading up to our wedding to speak to my ideas, answer my (many, many) questions, calm my nerves, and dream with us.
Being able to fully trust Shelby with executing the vision beautifully; taking care of any emergencies or last-minute fixes; handling all things coordination and timeline management; answering all my questions with grace and expertise, as well as providing beyond helpful suggestions; and checking-in/cheering us on/personally assisting us with miscellaneous things (Shelby had to trim my sticky bra down to hide it in my dress so she truly is willing to go the extra mile!!) allowed us to truly be present and focus on each other and our marriage, our loved ones, and how lovely the day was. THAT was the biggest gift to us on our wedding day and it was all due to Shelby's professionalism, kindness, genuineness, and passion.
She was a confidant, cheerleader, coordinator, and friend all-in-one, and we are so grateful. Our family and friends all told us how wonderful she was throughout the weekend! Her services were without a doubt the best thing we budgeted for and we're so thankful for her. For those looking to be present and at peace on their wedding day, look no further than Shelby Donald Coordination!
