rom day one. Starting with the engagement shoot, she did everything necessary to make the happy couple’s vision a reality and the photos were stunning. The wedding involved a long flight to the other side of the country, which Shelby did not hesitate to take on. She acclimated quickly to a venue she had no experience with. She worked seamlessly with all the other vendors who quickly became HUGE fans of Shelby and her work. Shelby worked tirelessly throughout the event to make sure the entire bridal party was comfortable and enjoying every moment. The pictures are absolute perfection and we will treasure them forever. From beginning to end, Shelby was a delight. She became like a member of the family! We have another daughter who just announced her 2024 wedding, and her number one request was to have Shelby Lea Photography cover all the photography needs. We wouldn’t dream of having a special family event without having Shelby right there to capture it! There truly is no one better.

Shelby made my husband (who doesn’t enjoy taking pictures) and I feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. It poured rain (and even hailed) the entire day on our wedding day in Scottsdale so we had to make several last minute adjustments to the original plan. Shelby was extremely adaptable, composed, patient, prepared, and positive throughout the entire day which was everything I needed during a situation that could have easily been chaotic and stressful (but wasn’t thanks to Shelby). She made a game time decision (after consulting with me of course) that it would be better to take all our pre-ceremony photos at the hotel instead of the venue because there was more outdoor coverage and indoor options for photos and I’m so thankful she made that call because we got so many diverse and breathtaking shots. Shelby even came prepared with umbrellas so I could get to the First Look location without getting drenched. Despite all the last minute changes she somehow managed to keep us on track with the timeline and capture every shot I had requested in advance (and then some). I asked for lots of candids and she followed that direction exceptionally well. I’m telling you she is incredibly talented and a master at what she does. All of our wedding photos are stunning and the only problem is I have so many favorites that I can’t decide which ones I want to print and frame in my home. Shelby was organized, a clear and consistent communicator and fast with getting the photos edited and back to us. I can’t say enough good things about her and I’m so grateful that she was part of our wedding day. Shelby and her husband Colby truly are the dream team. Shelby Lea is not only an unbelievably talented photographer but she is one of the sweetest and kindest people I’ve ever met. You’ll regret it if you don’t choose Shelby to capture your wedding day photos!

She is the biggest hype queen and made me feel like a princess the entire day. There was never a doubt in my mind that the photos would be beautiful but Shelby managed to blow me out of the water. I wish I had enough space on my walls to print out all the photos to remember the moments forever! Shelby is great at finding the little moments within the day you might forget and capturing them for you to hold forever. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without Shelby!
