Wow! I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Rachel and Shelby Street Studios. It was a very daunting task picking a wedding photographer, but the minute we met with Rachel over google meets, my husband and I knew that she was the person we wanted to entrust capturing one of the most special days in our lives. Rachel put an emphasis on getting to know us as a couple and we could tell that she adeptly builds a relationship with her clients through the wedding planning process. She made us feel incredibly comfortable during our engagement pictures and we left feeling like pros (a tall task for two awkward people trying to pose). She answered all out questions thoughtfully and provided her invaluable advice and experiences to help us make the best decisions for our wedding day. Rachel created a timeline of events that honestly took away so much anxiety when planning all the day of coordination and events. I felt like I was in the best of hands while planning our wedding and I honestly don't think it would have been such a stress free day without her guidance and presence throughout. I was worried about wrangling all our extended families into portraits after the ceremony, but Rachel was a perfect blend of kind but firm and we were able to get through family portraits without any incidents (a very tall task for such big extended families). I have loved printing out all our wedding pictures and looking through them over and over again. I cannot thank Rachel again for capturing our beautiful, perfect day. I feel like our pictures are the perfect representation of who we are as a couple and she captured all the important events and people in our lives beautifully!

Working Rachel was hands down one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. We are beyond thankful Rachel captured our wedding day and engagement photos. Her style exudes timeless class. Our wedding day was rainy and overcast but her incredible skills made the day look bright and beautiful. Rachel is also the calming presence you will need on the wedding day. She treats you like a friend, telling you if your hair is out of place or the groom's shirt isn't straight! She's also able to politely manage the room to get all the family and wedding party photos in an efficient timeline. It's been two years since our wedding day, and I look back on our photos with such gratitude for Rachel. She captures all the photos you want of your wedding day, and even grabs moments you didn't realize you'll want years later. She took a sweet candid of my grandfather hugging me that has become one of my favorites since he has recently passed away. Rachel made the whole wedding process so easy with open communication, easily available for questions, took AMAZING pictures for our engagement session and helped us create a minute by minute timeline to make sure we had everything we wanted on our special day. She's not only such a sweet kind person who was enjoyable to work with but also an AMAZING photographer. I chose her because her pictures were not heavily edited to the point where they didn't look natural. Her work is really beautiful. Rachel was phenomenal! She was timely, friendly, professional and detail oriented. She and her second shooter took photos of everything requested along with so much more! The wedding day was a very long day and her spirits remained high right up until that last photo taken. She was packed up and ready to go, but when we asked her to take one more of my daughter and me, she gladly did so. She also did a wonderful job on the engagement photos that we used for the save the date card. She meticulously worked through the time line with the upmost of patience. In an effort to have the Cincinnati skyline in the back ground for sunset pictures, she even parked her car in such a way to reserve a spot for the photos. This is a women who goes above and beyond for every request and idea. If she doesn't agree with any suggestions, she will politely explain why, then let it up to us on what to do. We are so grateful to have found Shelby Street Studios and Rachel. Highly recommend!

Oh my gosh, if I colld give 100 stars I would! Rachel was so amazing in the whole process after reaching out to her to do our wedding. From the first initial meeting, to engagement photos, day of the wedding and everything in between she was everything we could have asked for! We were nervous taking puctures would be uncomfortable but Rachel made us feel like naturals in front of the camera! It was great meeting her at the engagement photos to make us feel a lot better on the day of. She was also just a great person to be there and help with the madness! Rachel was my brilliant photographer for our wedding in December of 2022, and she also shot our engagement session in May earlier that year. While Rachel wasn't initially our contact, once she took over she stepped into the role without skipping a beat. She did her background research and already knew all the details of our day. During our planning calls she helped guide us through all the decisions for types of pictures and when to take them. She offered suggestions and guidance making our decision making process a breeze. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PART: She guided us through all the poses needed for wedding day so we didn't have to think about a thing. She made taking pictures fun and not a burden or chore which I've heard a lot from many friends. The pictures turned out incredible (especially the sunset photos) and I am so happy we chose Rachel. We picked Rachel early on in the planning process and it was easily the best decision we made! We live out of town and she has been so accommodating to make sure we got our engagement pictures done when we were in town. Our engagement pictures are beautiful and the best part was that she made us feel so comfortable, we were worried about feeling weird or awkward and we did not feel that way at all! I can't wait for her to shoot our photos for our wedding in April!

Rachel was such an amazing part of our wedding process! We had to push back our wedding twice due to COVID and she was so understanding and accommodating! She helped me to stay on top of everything and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. A good deal of our wedding was outside and she had SUCH an amazing eye for the best lighting and places to take pictures. Every time I look at my wedding photos I am in awe! They are just stunning. Rachel was so fantastic to work with! We had our engagement pictures a few weeks ago and already got the pictures back! The weather was crazy (tornados, thunders storms, crazy amounts of rain) and we were only in town for the weekend so didn't have unlimited time available. Rachel was in touch with us the entire time planning, changing the plans, adapting for the weather. She was so sweet and understanding and didn't give up on making sure we were going to be able to get our pictures done. She was fun and easy to work with and made taking pictures an enjoyable time. She helped both my fiancé and me feel relaxed and comfortable. We are so excited that she is our photographer and are looking forward to her photographing our wedding.

I cannot recommend Rachel and the rest of the ShelbyStreet team enough. Rachel took our engagement pictures and helped to make us feel so comfortable. Both my husband and I are not used to being in front of the camera, so neither one of us knew how to pose and Rachel was so patient and was able to give us direction in a way that made us feel amazing. After our engagement, she was so timely getting our photo's back to us to be able to share for our save the dates. During the planning process, Rachel was extremely helpful as she gave us a timeline of what our day would look like and patiently helped as I changed the plan around 50 times. She kept reminding me that "She wanted to help me photograph the day how I had always pictured it, and if that required us changing the timeline that is ok!" She then took our wedding photos and this woman deserves a gold medal for this. Our wedding was during prime cicada season in the middle of Mount Adams (where the cicada's were very prevalent). She not only helped us to keep the cicadas away, she helped me to feel better about the millions of cicadas flying around our head in the heat. Rachel was so confident and had a great sense of direction when letting our bridal party know where to go/what to do for the photos as well as for our family photos. She knew when we needed a break but also knew when to grab us to get extra special photos also. I cannot recommend this photographer enough to anyone getting married in the near future - Rachel and her team will make your day feel like you always dreamed of.

We had the BEST experience with Shelby Street! I am not someone who likes their photo taken and they made it SO comfortable and easy and I appreciated that so much on the day! I loved all the photos I never thought I would want: photos of the flower girl and ring bearer with me before walking down the aisle , candids of last minute touches with my dads bow tie before walking down, etc. it was simply beautiful and very thoughtful. I catch myself looking at the pictures way too often (as my husband would say) :) Then again, they take close to a thousand to make sure you have PLENTY of options. When you think it can’t get better, they have 2 points of view they shoot from. One being on the bride and I loved seeing my reactions and facial expressions to everything! They were so prepared for every moment and so grateful for all the memories. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They have done 2 of my friends weddings (Maggie Hobbs and Abby Peak) and those have been PHENOMENAL too. Very versatile. 100/10

We can not say enough wonderful things about Shelby Street Studios. First, they have been so quick to answer all my emails and incredibly flexible during this crazy Covid time. They were so kind and accommodating. When we asked to have Rachel, our photographer, come to our small ceremony in December she happily joined us and took the most amazing photographs. Not only did she come early to set up, but she drove around before our ceremony to scout out photo locations. I am truly obsessed with our engagement photos and wedding photos. I can not wait to use their services again in July for our big celebration.

I value reviews so much and read them almost always before purchasing products and/or services even though I typically do not take the time to write them unless it is to warn someone of a bad experience.  This review is not the case.  I was extremely impressed with Shelby Street Studios!  My regret is that I did not know about this company for my oldest 2 daughters when they were getting married.  They each had a different photographer so I have 2 others to use as comparisons. I think I can speak for our entire family about the difference in our experience with Shelby Street compared to the other photographers, it's like comparing apples to oranges!   Our experience was wonderful!  From the moment I met Rachel and her crew I had a good feeling.  Rachel was so relaxed and made you feel like you knew her your entire life.  She knew exactly what to do and kept the day running smoothly.  I was so impressed with her creativity with all the different poses and shots not to mention she captured every moment!  The photos came back quickly and every time I view them, or the video, I relive my baby's wedding day over and over!  They are amazing! Trust me when I say I could not have been more pleased and will recommend Shelby Street to everyone I know!

It has taken me forever to sit down and write out how thankful I am that I chose Shelby Street Studios for our wedding day. From the very beginning, Brittany was incredibly effective at communicating with me. She answered my millions of questions, emailed back so quickly, and even made a timeline for us while she was out of the country (like, what!!!!!!). Rachel made my husband and I feel so comfortable- she gave us poses and taught us how to look and act natural even though we aren't exactly professionals in front of a camera. Seriously, I felt like a princess all day. Also, both our engagement and wedding photos were edited and returned to us so quickly, and they were everything we could have ever wanted- I look through them probably once a day. I wish I could give way more than 5 stars. I have been a bridesmaid in so many weddings photographed by Shelby Street Studios that I had to use them for my Cleveland wedding. From engagement photos to talking logistics for the day of to calming me down when I was overwhelmed on the day of, they excelled. The team is professional, beyond organized, and amazing communicators. Their services are worth more than the price tag in comfort you get knowing they are keeping you on schedule and capturing the perfect moments of your day. I could not be happier or more thankful I chose them as our photographers.

We recently used Shelby Street for my daughters wedding and couldn’t say enough good things about their photos, service and professionalism! The photos were everything we asked for and more! They took engagement photos and then her wedding photos. They helped her fill out a timeline for the day and had a list connected to a time with all photos to be taken that day. They arrived promptly and helped us stay on schedule! And if adjustments were needed to be made that was no problem for them or if they felt my daughter was getting over loaded they were attentive to that also. I can’t thank them enough for all the wonderful memories they captured for us on that day and it was so nice for me to put down my camera and just enjoy the day. The biggest compliment I can give them though is we are going to use them again in 2021 for my other daughter’s wedding.

Shelby Street was absolutely amazing to work with! I never realized how different photography styles were until it came to choosing a wedding photographer. I wanted someone who's style was natural, weren't overly edited and were timeless. Shelby Street captured the day perfectly!! Not only are the pictures amazing, so is their customer service. Our entire wedding day team was fantastic. Rachel was our lead photographer and she was so nice and personable. She even helped my bridesmaids get my dress bustled when they were struggling! We received our photos a little after three weeks from our wedding, which is such a quick turnaround for nearly 1,000 pictures! We will hold on to our photos and cherish them for the rest of our lives. Choosing Shelby Street was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They are worth every penny!

Brittany and Patrick are seriously the best! They did both our engagement and wedding photos and we (and our friends/family) were so impressed by the quality. While our wedding was in Cincinnati, it meant a lot to us to take our engagement photos on Ohio State's campus where we met. They were willing to travel up there for us and captured some stunning shots that we will treasure forever. Jump to the wedding day nearly a year later and they were just as fantastic. While I was admittedly a little stressed out that morning (who isn't on their wedding day?), Brittany and Patrick were cool and collected which helped to keep me calm. They helped out majorly with planning the schedule for the day and making sure that we stuck to it. We also got a pretty muggy day for outdoor pictures so Brittany was great about checking in on me to make sure I was still comfortable. During the ceremony and reception I honestly barely noticed them working their magic, which I guess is a good thing because they know how to get the job done without drawing attention to themselves. They delivered the wedding images just a few weeks after the wedding and dropped us lots of fun sneak peeks in the time between. We couldn't recommend these two enough, as they work their hardest to make everything smooth and Patrick is a pro at eliciting smiles with his jokes if you're ever struggling. So hope that we get to work with them again in the future!

Shelby Street Studios was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding day. While we got married in Cincinnati, my husband and I live in Columbus. I was so nervous about hiring someone I had never met to photograph the most memorable day of our lives so far. We couldn't have asked for better. Patrick and Brittany did the best job not only capturing our day, but also making us feel comfortable in the midst of all the craziness. They helped us create the day-of timeline and made sure all of our picture requests fit into the schedule. They were extremely efficient with answering all of our questions over email and phone. They also had a blog post of some of the pictures of our wedding within a week so we could enjoy them on our honeymoon. We are so thankful for all the hard work they put into making our day perfect, and we would recommend them to anyone in search of a wedding photographer! Lastly, we also used them for our videography. It was so nice to have a team that worked together to make the day complete. Our wedding videos are beautiful, and we will cherish them forever. My fiancé and I have really absolutely LOVED working with Shelby Street Studios so far in our journey! We both took photography in high school and we got engaged in Europe with a photographer capturing the entire moment so photography is very important to us. We knew that finding that perfect photographer, without busting our budget was going to be a challenge for us, especially with how many photographers there are in the Cincinnati market. We vetted through approx. 30-40 photographers (No, I'm not kidding) and after speaking with Brittany from Shelby Streets we knew we had to sign the contract. Brittany has been so helpful with this process and talking through timelines, answering any of our questions and making us feel at home. Shelby Street's pictures are also very fun, timeless and "natural" rather than the very over edited photos we saw a lot in the other photographers we shopped around. We truly believe we are going to look back on our photos when we are 60 and they are going to still be amazing and not outdated and that's exactly what we were looking for. Brittany also helped us plan our engagement and even reached out for a backup plan since there was a chance of rain that day. Thankfully, it turned out to be a beautiful fall evening and we absolutely loved meeting and hanging out with our photographer Rachel strolling around taking pictures. Rachel incorporated our dogs into the pictures perfectly and was up for trying some fun shots that we would never have even thought of! We received our pictures just a few days later and I can't even describe how much we love them! We already have some printed out and have given some to our families as gifts. :) It's going to be extremely hard to choose some for our save the dates. We couldn't have asked for better engagement pictures! We would highly recommend Shelby Street Studios to anyone who is looking for high quality, timeless and fun pictures and who loves to work with great people. We are so excited to continue working with them during the rest of our journey! :)

We loved working with Shelby Street for our wedding and engagement photos! They made sure to take every photo I had on my list (even the ones I forgot I wanted because I was so busy!). Everyone was so fun, friendly, and professional. Our pictures perfectly captured our day and we have received many compliments on them. I highly recommend Shelby Street.

We met with a number of photographers before Shelby Street, and never looked back. Brittany was incredibly helpful, organized, and responsive, and our meeting with Patrick was wonderful. I loved his eye for photos, and he even brought examples of photos they had taken at our venue. We had Mary for our engagement photos, and both Mary and Stephanie for our wedding. I cannot express how wonderful they were to work with. Mary made us feel so at-ease at the engagement shoot, and the pictures were absolutely stunning. The whole wedding day, Mary and Stephanie were so helpful and easy to work with. They managed to wrangle our families and bridal party and still get all of the shots we asked for as well as getting us to the venue on time. It was an amazing day, in no small part thanks to Shelby Street. I highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Shelby Street! Our initial meeting with Patrick won us over, and then we got all kinds of helpful information from Brittany. She is the queen of organization and made planning everything very easy for us. Rachel was our lead photographer, and the engagement session was a great way for us to get to know each other. Her enthusiasm is infectious, even in all kinds of weather! She seemed to genuinely enjoy taking our pictures, which made us so excited to see them. Rachel & Tiffany were our team for the wedding, and they were fantastic! Rachel climbed on furniture to get the perfect shot, and Tiffany even helped pin my flower on my dress. They timed everything perfectly and worked with our last-minute changes when it ended up being 40 degrees in April (and they managed to make us look warm in the pictures)! We had spent a lot of time on our table themes, and I had worried that we wouldn't actually get to see the finished products, but Rachel & Tiffany took pictures of all 18 tables and even the inscription in a book of poetry from my deceased grandfather. After the wedding, Brittany had our photos ready sooner than I could've imagined, and they were gorgeous! Everyone was so great to work with, and I would whole-heartedly recommend them!

Brittany and Patrick are amazing! You can tell they love what they do and it makes such a difference! My husband and I felt so comfortable with them. They treat you like old friends. They are beyond professional and captured the day beautifully. I highly recommend them! You won’t be disappointed!

Shelby Street Studios was just absolutely amazing, we couldn’t ask for a better studio to make our wedding the best day of our lives! So many people told my husband and I that our photos were beyond stunning. They made our day run smoothly and also what we loved about them was how personable they were. I'm using Shelby Street studios for my wedding and I already couldn't be happier with my choice! From the very first phone call I felt welcomed and understood and I knew I was going to book them. Britney is so down to earth and relatable and genuinely cares about helping you make your day great. We had Rachel for our engagement session and she was so cute and put us right at ease! We told her what we were looking for and she knew all the best places to go. Our pictures turned out amazing and I can't wait to have them capture our big day!!

We absolutely adored our pictures from Shelby Street! We had Rachel as our main photographer and she was awesome. We are not the couple that feels comfortable getting photos taken/looks cute while doing it and Rachel made it not awkward and gave us great direction. Our wedding day pictures are beautiful and we would recommended Shelby Street to anyone looking for beautiful pictures and very friendly, helpful, and professional photographers for their wedding!
