Hello there!
My name is Shelby and I am the owner of ShelbyB Photography. I have a degree in fashion photography from Columbia College Chicago. I love using my fashion background in weddings to create unique portraits for each of my bride and grooms. I have a natural shooting and editing style to showcase the beauty in your wedding through the colors, lighting, and composition. Each wedding is unique, so I love being able to capture your personalities through your pictures!
Even though I work out of Kansas City, MO, I am always up for an adventure! Don't hesitate to reach out for any destination weddings, or elopements. I have three wedding packages, but I am flexible to create a custom package for you. Besides weddings, I also offer engagement, boudoir, and fashion bridal sessions.
I am excited to chat with you and talk more about the services I offer!

Shelby was absolutely wonderful to work with! We had never met in person prior to my wedding but you would’ve never known. She is such a kind hearted and fun person to be around an...
d we loved being able to spend our day with her! Our photos turned out stunningly perfect and we had so much fun taking them. Wedding photos/a photographer is such a big stressor for weddings it seems like but you definitely do not have to worry about a thing if you book with Shelby! She captured our day, us, our guests, and our reception party perfectly. We will 100% be working with Shelby in the future for family photos and mini sessions as well. I seriously cannot recommend her enough ❤️
Shelby has been capturing my Children’s moments since they were in my belly and now she gets to capture loving moments with my fiancé. Love having good rapport with my photographer...
. The comfortability makes for great photos
Shelby is an amazing photographer. Although there were several things that went less than perfectly on our day, her services made it so much better. I look at my pictures regularly...
and am just so in love with them. She got perfect backgrounds and perfect candids. And she is affordable. A perfect combination of affordability and quality.
Shelby was great! She shot our engagement photos at the Nelson Atkins. She came prepared with suggestions for poses, a great attitude, and an eye for scenic backdrops. She made us ...
feel so comfortable which definitely translated to the photos because they looked so natural. We love our photos!
If you are engaged I know that you are worried about capturing your best day in a unique way to have memories of your love that lasts a lifetime.
I found Shelby through a mutual ...
friend in Kansas City and she did our engagement photos. I loved her personality, the environment she created, her creativity, and of course, the photos! I asked if she would be able to capture our big day and I am so thankful we chose Shelby!!
She traveled to our wedding, (outside of KC) and it felt like we had known each other for years. She is so friendly, tends to your wants/needs, and is sure to make your vision come true. I had the best time at my wedding and every vendor there, especially this photographer, made that happen. My husband and I cannot stop looking at our photos, monthsss after our wedding. We had such a fun time with Shelby being our photographer and our wedding party loved her!
I honestly would not recommend anyone else except Shelby. We are so happy with how the photos turned out and I cannot tell you enough how much we were amazed when we saw our wedding photos. She categorized them for us, i.e. Getting Ready, Wedding Party, Reception Part 1 & 2, Family, and more. I'm very lucky and blessed to have had such a great wedding and I highly recommend this photographer, 100/10. Happy wedding-ing to you all!
