Shelley Elena Photography was my selection for photography on my wedding day. Full disclosure, I have known Shelley since our childhood. That being said my decision to use her as my photographer was based off her talent. She has a unique ability to capture moments in time that reflect the most genuine moments of any event. The story of my husband and I joining our lives is so perfectly told by the images she selected to capture. Shelley doesn't gravitate towards the big obvious moments of the day but rather the small, emotional, intimate moments that are shared amongst people when you think no one is looking. She is able to capture these unique moments because as a human she is LEGIT. One of the most humble and down to Earth people I know. If you select Shelley you will not regret it!

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness Our wedding was cancelled due to COVID (twice). We had planned on having Shelley be our photographer at the wedding, but of course, that didn't happen. Shelley has been understanding of the situation and responsive to our needs and changing plans. She even offered to do a photo shoot with us, even though we didn't get to have a real wedding. The photos turned out wonderful and we couldn't be more pleased and more grateful!

Shelley has been our wedding photographer for about a year and a half due to the pandemic and having to postpone our original wedding. She has shot 2 different engagement photo shoots for us along with FINALLY shooting our small, intimate wedding ceremony and reception a few weeks ago! It was a beautiful day and we love our sneak peak photo gallery we just received from her. Shelley is absolutely amazing!! She is so professional and is able to really capture some beautiful and magical moments! We have gotten to know her over the year and she is such a pleasure to work with! She will make sure you are having fun which helps things feel so natural! We 100% recommend Shelley as your wedding photographer!! You will not regret your decision!!

Shelley is such a talented photographer! Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she was such a dream to work with - we live out of state and she went out of her way to make us feel good about our decision and get to know us as a couple. She is such a sweet and fun person to be around and made my very shy fiancé feel comfortable while being photographed, which was priceless. She captured such love, joy, and brightness in the pictures - I could not be happier with the result!

Shelley is an incredible artist and a joy to work with! I am typically very awkward in front of a camera and I was nervous that I would be constantly aware that I had a lens on me but Shelley made me feel so comfortable - it was even fun! She has a gift for capturing a moment without making you aware that you're being photographed. She got along so well with everyone at the wedding and was amazing with the little kids. She was very respectful of our time with our guests while also finding the time to get some amazing shots of us when the lighting was exceptional. Her ability to capture candid moments is astounding. We were so excited to see the final shots she delivered because they brought our wedding day to life again and we know that they will continue to do so for years to come. I cannot recommend Shelley enough! You will love working with her, just like I did!

I was blessed enough to have Shelley as my wedding and engagement photographer. She is so sweet, quick to get pictures back after engagement session and our wedding. From our engagement session to our wedding day she made us feel comfortable and we came out with amazing photos. She is quick response via email and phone, she also works with her clients schedules really well. I would recommend Shelley to anyone!

I met with Shelley at a coffee shop a little over a year before our wedding. She was so sincere, kind, and knowledgeable that I knew I had to go with her. Her rates were on the high to middle end, but to me photographs are worth every penny. She was flexible with our engagement shoot dates, she gave lots of suggestions, and made both my fiance and I feel amazing during the whole shoot. She kept in contact up to the wedding confirming times, photos we would like to get, and she was flexible on our payment method! On the day of she had an assistant with her, that is the package we selected, but she does offer other packages at different rates. Her assistant was just as kind and amazing as she was. She was also in charge when trying to get all of the family photos in a timely manor, she may be petite but she can manage a crowd perfectly. I had full trust in her for our wedding day and could not have asked for a more sweet, thoughtful, or amazing photographer! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

I'm in love with Shelley's photography style. It is exactly what I was looking for! She is also just a wonderful person to work with, which really made a difference on my wedding day. Best of both worlds - amazing to work with and her work is incredible!

Hire this woman!! I absolutely loved working with Shelley, from my first correspondence and phone call with her to our first in person meeting she made me feel comfortable and like a partner during the entire process. Her photography is gorgeous and I was very happy that she had shot at my venue before and was comfortable with the space and looks. I was slightly worried about how she would get on with my fiance (who is weird about taking pictures) but she immediately got his random movie references and I knew it was a photographer match made in heaven! Shelley was very flexible to work with, helping me come up with a package that included everything I was looking for. She was readily available and quick to respond when I had questions about planning and the wedding timeline. I am so excited to have worked with Shelley and wish I lived in Austin so I could hire her for all my photography needs.

Shelley is an amazing photographer. She captured some wonderful, candid shots of our guests and family. Several of our guests have told me how much the liked our photographer. Shelley is so personable and makes any one on the other side of the camera feel comfortable and special. Shelley is genuine and kind. Her photos are all special. Lastly, her prices are reasonable. I can't recommend her enough. Do yourself a favor and call her to discuss your wedding.

I have been an admirer of Shelley's work for years, and was SO excited that she was available for our wedding date now that our time has come! So far we have only done the initial consult and engagement photo session, but I already know she was the perfect choice. She is exceedingly talented and professional and immediately made us comfortable in our surroundings, even though we initially felt so awkward in front of the camera. You can put your full trust her artistic vision and incredible skill and you will not be disappointed!

Shelley has some of the most creative pictures I have ever seen. I was so happy that she was able to shoot our wedding and my bridal pictures. She is really friendly and sweet and takes beautiful pictures. The bridal shoot was a ton of fun and she got me the pictures back in time to have some displayed at the wedding. I am also really happy because she gave me digital copies of the pictures with the rights to print them myself. I think I'm going to send a little wallet sized shot with all of our thank you notes. :)

I found Shelley through my first bridal magazine! I was looking for good quality photos and a good prices. I found about 8 or so photographers and Shelley was the cheapest. The best part was the quality of her photos was just as good as the more expensive ones. Shelley was so easy to work with which just made everything better. She understood that we had some particular photos in mind for our wedding and had no problem making them happen. She shot our engagement photos, my bridals and our wedding. She is also great at telling people what to do! Whether it be telling my husband and I how to pose or telling people to move out of the way. She was great! Shelley also captures light in pictures so perfectly. All of our pictures are gorgeous and she did such a great job! I would highly recommend her! She cares about her clients and her work and it shows.

Shelley is the most wonderful photographer I've ever worked with! She's so nice and is very open to suggestions and new ideas while she's full of great ideas herself. She took our engagement and bridal photos as well as the wedding photos and they all turned out really well. Many guests even commented on how nice she is and how well she placed herself to get the good shots all with out getting in the way of things.
