planning my wedding from out of state and communication was of huge importance to me. I felt totally confident that she would capture all the beautiful moments and be directive when need be for group shots and family shots. The thing that I love most about Shelley is that she is enthusiastic and truly loves photographing your special day. Her enthusiasm made me even more excited for my wedding day! On the day of the wedding she was perfectly prepared because she scoped out all the great spots to shoot at the venue before I arrived. Shelley and her assistant were upbeat and professional throughout the whole evening. Besides the posed group shots or family shots, I didn't even notice they were there! That is how amazing she is. She is able to artistically capture the whole evening without you noticing her presence. She didn't miss a single special moment that night. I was astonished at how remarkable all the photos were that she took throughout the night. It was nearly impossible choosing which ones I wanted to be in my album! (she creates beautiful mounted albums as well as portraits and prints). I can't compliment Shelley enough! If you want a photographer that truly caters to your vision, is a great communicator, and is unbelievably talented, go with Shelley Foster Photography!

someone who could stage cute photos and create neat looks with filters, but someone who could actually capture your feelings in the pictures. When I saw the photos on Shelley's website, www.shelleyfoster.com, I had a good feeling that she would be the one. After meeting her I knew that her photos would be nothing short of spectacular. And I was right. She captured so many moments from that night that I had forgotten. One look at those photos and all of the feelings from that night came rushing back to me. That's real talent. And everyone agreed that she didn't miss a single moment, but no one even realized she was there. I can't recommend her enough. She can do all of the fun stuff with filters and effects that are popular these days, but that's not the big reason why you should book her. You should book her because she has a brilliant eye and amazing talent. You couldn't possibly be disappointed with her work.

met with us to discuss about things that we would like for our pictures. She is friendly and very easy to approach even for a timid person like me. She is a great listener. She tried her best to understand our ideas for pictures even though they might be vague and strange! She is also a very creative photographer. She has lots of great ideas, which make her stand out from many other photographers. She thinks like a bride, and she knows what kind of pictures a bride would want. I can say that if she is your photographer, you know that you WILL NOT ONLY get the boring "routine" wedding pictures, but you WILL also get a lot of special pictures that are different from everyone else's wedding. On my wedding day, she arrived much earlier than the start of the ceremony. All day I did not have to worry about her at all! She was taking great pictures everywhere without being in the way. When I saw a great moment happening, she was already there snapping pictures! She captured tons of special moments on my wedding day that I missed because I was so busy being a bride! The pictures she took are of excellent quality, and they're like a documentary of the whole event! Shelly is very easy to work with. Everyone at my wedding was comfortable around her. My husband is the kind of person whose face turns stiff when a camera lens is pointing at him. I also never saw pictures of my father-in-law smiling! Shelley found ways to capture my husband's and my father-in-law's smile. Seeing those pictures melts my heart, and those are some of my most favorite pictures! I'm a very picky person. I'm also very self-conscious that normally I hate 9 out of 10 of the pictures of myself. It wasn't hard for me to pick out pictures taken by other photographers I had before Shelley. Shelley gave me soooo many awesome pictures that I still can't decide which pictures to frame because I would frame all of them if I could! She found great angles for pictures, and her editing work made the pictures even more beautiful. She made me look pretty even in pictures that I was getting ready, before finishing makeup and had lots of rollers in my hair! Never in a million years that I would think a picture of myself like that could be nice! I've seen wedding photographers that just disappeared until it was time to take those routine wedding pictures. Needless to say, those photographers missed a lot of moments that made a couple's wedding their wedding. Shelley is not one of those photographers. She has shown us passion for photography from the moment we contacted her the first time. I would definitely recommend Shelley Foster to anyone who wants someone reliable to take high-quality pictures!

Not only did the pictures turn out better than I could have ever imagined, but her peaceful and calm presence is something that can't be bought. Now, we have some beautiful memories captured in the photographs that will last a lifetime. Some details: My daughter had a small family wedding in a chapel, followed by a larger reception/party later in the day. Because of the gap in time between the wedding & reception, we originally planned to hire a photographer just to get a few pics of the wedding. However, when we met Shelley, we realized that she was very interested in not just snapping a few pics (because anyone can do that, right?) but creating beautiful keepsakes. Thankfully, she talked us in to letting her hang out for well over an hour (at no charge) to wait for the reception to start so she could capture the entire day, including the reception. Not only that, but she patiently hung around waiting for it to get dark enough to get a picture with sparklers! She really does care about capturing all of those special moments on your special day! I wish I could come up with some constructive criticism here, but I just can't think of anything that I would change! Whether you are having a wedding with 5 guests or 500 guests, I would highly recommend Shelley Foster Photography. Her prices are very reasonable and the quality would be hard to beat! She is such a joy to be around and our family feels like we have a new friend! Can't wait to hire her again for another happy occasion.

showed people the pictures they would always say they felt like they were at the wedding. That is how good she is!! She is so creative but definitely not pushy to make you do anything you don't want. She is open to your ideas as well. My only complaint is that I wish I had more time with her to take more photos! :) I would recommend her in a heartbeat. LOVE HER!!

This was an incredible service as my husband and I weren't able to deal with such things until months later. Beyond our wedding photographs, Shelley was responsible for our engagement photos and artistically capturing my wife’s bridal photographs. She used the texture and design of an old cotton mill to accentuate her beauty. Her skillset is beyond reproach. It was only upon receiving our photos after the wedding that we recognized exactly how many of the personal and intimate moments she was able to capture, despite the size of our venue and family. Shelley’s level of creativity is extremely advanced. She has a keen eye for texture, color and the unique. hat idea for some reason. At the wedding e was wonderful and worked so so hard. My pictures are amazog. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Any time I need pictures from now on I will be using her - and if we move I may even fly her out to where ever we are. She will answer any question you have, so if you're reading this email her ASAP. ntire 6 hours we were with her. She had more energy then we did! During the wedding, she got the hotel early and stayed all night. She has an amazing eye for catching the best moments! She got everything I asked, plus more. She was professional, yet truly cared about my wedding as much as I did. our wedding at had written the wrong time down for our wedding were not giving us access to the changing rooms. I had already arrived late bc my makeup artist had decided not to show up. I had to go down to ulta to get my makeup done. She managed to talk to management get the wedding moved to the correct time ( which the manager that day had written down wrong) and had gotten the building open for us. She even managed to calm me down so I could enjoy my wedding. She was entirely wonderful. My photos were amazing
