ding. For my bridal portraits, I sent Shelly an inspiration picture. At the location, Shelly scoped out the best location to recreate the perfect photo. We both worked through the summer heat in Texas and beautiful pictures were captured. Brian and I wanted someone who would take the lead and guide us through our special day, and Shelly did not disappoint. She helped Brian and his groomsmen fix their pocket squares. The one thing I loved most about Shelly is that she wanted to make sure that even the smallest request, like our private cake cutting, was captured perfectly. If you are looking for someone meticulously hardworking and unbelievably talented, Shelly is your photographer!

he same time. Her kindness love of her job and her photo gallery is what had me hire her. Her photos tell a story from beginning to the end. No matter what package you pick. She is still in contact with us even after our wedding. She makes you feel like family. She made my day feel so special and made sure I was taken care of every moment as well as my husband. She is someone who will always be a part of your family forever . She helps enhance those special memories that you will remember forever.

She’s great at capturing personalities in photos and works hard to get the perfect shot. Most of all, she’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and that goes a long way when dealing with the stress of wedding planning. She’s so great my family also hired her to shoot portraits. I cannot say enough great things and if you hire her you’ll know exactly what I mean.

e from the minute we met her. We recommend her any chance we get.

She is professional, punctual and respectful of her clients time. My wedding would not have been as special without her. I have never met a more beautiful person and my guests loved working with her to capture wonderful memories. Also...major plus...she works with any budget and was able to work out a perfect package with us and we got everything I wanted and more. Shelly if I could I would give you 100 stars!

ke another planner! From the very get go she offered assistance where ever we needed! She also surrounds herself with the best crew/help. Our engagement photo shoot was so fun! And the photos she captured the day of the wedding were beyond my expectations! Even after the wedding she put in the effort to get our wedding published! One thing that sets Shelly and her team apart is the authentic relationship she builds with you and your fiancé/spouse. We were so lucky to have her!

e midst of chaos. She made everyone in our wedding party comfortable. Just look at her portfolio!

os. At each photography session we were comfortable and having fun with Shelly. She would step back from behind the lens to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves and truly connected with us. She very quickly felt like family. We can’t imagine our wedding day without her. We recently received our prints and the superb quality of her work and photo lab is evident! Shelly gave us photos that beautifully captured one of the most important days of our lives. We cannot wait for our next life event to be captured by Shelly Beck Photography. ❤️ The Garcias

can’t wait to cherish these photos and memories forever.

he was and how she made her feel so comfortable, which is huge since you literally spend your entire wedding day with your photographer. We met with Shelly and there was an instant connection! She's charismatic and such a happy person that it's hard not to feel instantly drawn in by her. She worked with us and tailored a wedding day package for our needs! We had our son a few months before meeting her, so the fact that she was able to help tailor a package to fit our needs was extremely helpful! Shelly has an amazing gift and compared to other photographers with the similar talent, she comes at a much more manageable cost. She was also my saving grace on my wedding day! She made sure I was as relaxed as I could be and protected! (That will make more sense on your wedding day!!) The hustle and bustle can get to be a lot but she took the time to make sure I had every picture I might want and made sure to get ones I didn't even think of! I got my pictures back and they're breathtaking. If you want someone who will help to make your memorable day, that much more magical, Shelly is your gal!

doir shoot. She made me feel so comfortable and encouraged and gave me insight on what worked and didn't. She keeps these shoots very professional so that the shots end up very tasteful. She has great connections in the San Antonio/Hill country area which is very helpful in booking your venue or choosing a venue for a shoot. Thank you for everything, Shelly!

n my wedding day, and even more all the fun we had! I highly recommend her and her team if capturing your special moments are a high priority to you! She was great!!! 10/10 recommend!!

r. Shelly is very experienced at what she does, knows the area and the venues well, and has great relationships with other photographers around the area- so the second shooter fo your wedding will always be a fantastic artist as well. She was extremely helpful in designing a wedding day coverage package for me that fit our budget and needs. Shelly views her brides as family and it showed in every aspect of our experience with her. We will be using her again!

ted anyone else there she made us laugh all night and came up with creative new ideas for our photos that my husband and I can look back on forever :)

, they welcomed my wife and I like family. They were easy to work with and were very open to helping us meet our photography needs at a price that was appropriate for everyone involved. I know many of these reviews are supposed to talk about her photography, but I truly feel that her pictures speak for themselves. You can look at any other review or any of the albums on her website to see what an amazing job she will do for you wedding. The most important thing to mention about our time with Shelly was with how she treated us and the help she offered beyond the lens of her camera. Shelly was more than just our photographer, she was everything to us! I can honestly say that our wedding would not have gone anywhere near as well as it did without every moment she spent helping us. If you are having trouble picking a photographer, stop. You cannot go wrong with Shelly and I promise you it will be the best money you will spend for your wedding

lans ahead accordingly. Her team is just as good. James is also an amazingly creative individual, together they captured breathtaking moments. Thank you Shelly and James!

l last a life time.

a concern during the planning process and Shelly went above and beyond to bring a 3rd photographer with her. I have so many amazing images from my wedding day! I also did my bridal portraits with Shelly and love they way they turned. Shelly is a very talented photographer and I would recommend working with her.

ry singe moment which means the world to us! She is very professional and makes you feel at ease that everything will turn out exactly how you pictured your wedding to be. We can’t thank you enough Shelly! Your amazing at what you and your staff do! It was a blast having you at our wedding!

personable and magical! There honestly isn't a single complaint about this amazing lady and her photography skills, as well as her team! Thank you Shelly and team for making my wedding the most memorable and magical experience of my life! I get to relive it every time I look through my pictures!

ith our budget and seemed more like a family friend during our wedding process and (even after!) than just a photographer. Shelly and her team captured every moment and detail perfectly. I highly recommend Shelly and her team for any events or photography needs you may have.

ay. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she is also an amazing person to work with. She helped me connect with other vendors that we used at our wedding, and she really made our day special!

ing. Mom hit a homerun with Shelly! Bridal pictures done on a day with torrential rains looming and came out amazing. She will not disappoint!

overage and a 2nd shooter for around $3000. She delivered our pictures on time, if not sooner and they are absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend brides meet with Shelly for a consultation (and subsequentally hire her!) Greatest decision we made in the planning process!

ghout our entire wedding planning process/wedding day. Shelly is very personable, honest, attentive, accommodating, and shows professionalism unlike any other. She is very prompt with responses, very creative and was willing to help or give guidance with any wedding questions. Shelly and her team were an absolute pleasure and joy to work with, she is such a blessing and a gift to all brides. One aspect that we loved was that Shelly personally edits all her photos and does not send anything off to a third party. Secondly, she builds such a strong connection with all her brides before the wedding day so that the bride and groom on their special day can relax and have complete trust in her. She makes you feel so at home, which truly makes a huge difference in your photos. I could not have imagined having a different photographer for my wedding. Shelly was by far our favorite and the best investment of our wedding!

nowledgeable, and the price was reasonable compared to a lot of the other photographers we considered. It was like she was one of my friends who was there to help make my day go smoothly, and she stepped in when the coordinator did not. I would definitely recommend her for weddings or any other special events. I asked my husband if he'd like to add anything else to my review, and he just said, "Amazing." It's true! We both loved having Shelly as our photographer.

she loves what she does. We definitely recommend her to anyone!!

She caters towards YOUR needs and does so with a beautiful smile.

and the pictures turned out truly beautiful. I would recommend her any day.

I was trying my best to be a DIY bride- between a cross country move a and a wedding- I was a crazy woman on a mission. Shelly had a calming aura to her- that stuck around long after out first interaction. Which lead us to booking our wedding date with Shelly Beck Photography. I can't even put into enough words how amazing it was to work with this wonderful woman! She has a real eye, and heart that spills into her photography. Matched only by her personality and charm I would most definitely recommend Shelly and her team to make you special moments just that much more. Investing in photography was a tough choice, but you should never regret having those memories captured- and you most definitely will not regret working with Shelly! Best overall personalilty, professionalism, performance, product and not to forget price! Shelly helped not just with photography but she has so many connections that she helped get me in contact with other vendors for my big day! To top it all off- she travels! So book this woman some destinations! She deserves a little vacation for all the hard work that goes into making your big day her main focus!

ends feel SO comfortable and at ease while she and her team were taking our photos. It was an absolute blast working with her, and getting to know her. I felt like I could completely count on Shelly, I had absolute faith that our photos would turn out amazing (THEY DID!!), and she is so sweet, and so fun. She felt like part of the family just a couple hours into the wedding day, and I've been missing her ever since (I live in a different state). Once again, all the photos are utterly breathtaking. I will definitely be keeping in touch with Shelly, and hopefully working with her for future family events. I wholeheartedly recommend this incredible woman, and her fantastic team.

d I mention she's amazing at what she does? The day my husband and I took our engagement photos, it rained all morning. We took them at The Pearl and from the way our pictures came out, you would have never know that we were dodging the rain all morning. I took my bridal portraits at the McNay Art Museum, which turned out beautiful. When I finally showed my husband he couldn't pick a favorite. They were truly incredible. My wedding day photos were even better! From the details of my dress hanging on a dress with the ceremony site in the background, to the bridal party getting ready, everything was perfect. The best part was that Shelly and her team captured moments during our ceremony and reception that my family will always treasure. Thank you so much, Love you Shelly!

make sure everything was perfect to the point where it was like having an additional wedding planner. She also did an excellent job of communicating to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and even added an additional resource on the day of the wedding to make sure. We would not hesitate to recommend Shelly for a wedding or special event.

able. All of our photos turned out beautiful and we are so thankful for that. Shelly truly takes the time to become invested in each wedding she does. Not only did we find a great photographer, but also a life long friend! I would highly recommend using Shelly Beck Photography for all your photography needs!
