Shelly was the best wedding photographer any couple could ask for! She had such a calming presence with us both, while also ensuring all the photos we wanted were captured througho...
ut the day. She was extremely professional during the entire process from initial meeting all the way to the final gallery. Her turn around time was incredibly fast, we had friends who were married months before us that still didn't have their photos by the time we did. My family and friends still talk about how good of a job she did every time they see us. Highly recommend for any and all couples, we will definitely be calling her again for future family photos :)
Shelly is the absolute best! I first met her at a friends’ wedding as she was photographing for her, so I’ve seen her in action multiple times. She is a consummate professional who...
truly does amazing work. Not only are her photos stunning, her demeanor and ability to keep all bridal parties on pace/track is nothing short of impressive, all while keeping it fun and enjoyable so we could live in the moment. I can’t say enough about her and her team, I’d recommend 10/10 times! Thank you so much Shelly, you are the best!
From start to finish, Shelly was such a joy to work with! After hearing about her from a friend, reaching out to her and then finally meeting her over a cup of tea, I knew she woul...
d be the perfect person to photograph our special day! You spend a lot of time with your wedding photographer so it has to be someone you enjoy being around. Shelly is just that and then some. She is so real and has an amazing sense of humor. She also had the perfect tips and tricks to help my camera-shy husband feel comfortable all day. She listened to our visions and made them a reality. We are so glad that we chose to work with Shelly! I would hire her again and again :)
I think all of Shelly’s five star reviews speak for themselves, but I’ll reiterate again for good measure — Shelly is SO. AWESOME. She is incredibly talented and passionate about h...
er work, and it really shows in the quality of her photos. My husband and I were so impressed with Shelly’s ability to capture our true selves/personalities in every single picture she took. Not only are we so happy with our wedding photos, but working with her throughout the engagement process was seriously the best.
Shelly’s professionalism combined with her hilarious sense of humor and relaxed demeanor was exactly what I needed on my wedding day, and I’d argue she sets the bar very high for wedding photographers. She was able to seamlessly capture every special moment that day, yet the overall mood was so laidback, joyful and fun. Having Shelly there that day from start to finish will always be one of my favorite memories.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Shelly!! It was a pleasure to have you as our engagement and wedding photographer, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience and wedding photos.
Shelly is amazing. She made us feel comfortable from the time we met at our consultation throughout the entire wedding planning process, and wedding itself. Shelly was extremely he...
lpful and worked with me knowing that I couldn't meet due to my crazy work schedule and instead scheduled phone calls with me to answer my questions and keep me organized. Shelly felt like a longtime friend since the beginning. Her and her team are amazing. Our pictures are absolutely stunning as well. One of my favorite memories of our wedding day was working with Shelly and her team. We had so much fun. I can't thank you all enough. Xoxoxo.
I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Shelly was at our wedding! From the moment we met with her at Starbucks to discuss the vision for our wedding, to every single minute of ...
our wedding day - she gave us 110% and was extremely professional! She captured every unforgettable moment and even went above and beyond to make our day special!
Shelly knows all the ins and outs of your typical wedding day and gives you the insider scoop on what works and what does not. She helped me coordinate the craziness of bride/groom photos, bridal party photos and family photos and it could not have gone anymore smoothly.
I will reference Shelly 11 times out of 10 to any newly engaged couple!
Shelly was absolutely amazing from the minute we inquired with her through our wedding! Shelly provided us with so much information and put all of our worries at ease. Not only was...
she an incredible photographer, she assisted us with our whole wedding experience from providing us with vendor recommendations to assisting with creating our timeline for the wedding day. Shelly has an incredible personality and knows how to make you laugh to get those amazing candid pictures. Shelly truly listens to what you want in your pictures and captures just that. I have received nothing but compliments on our pictures and I will cherish them forever! I am so happy we chose Shelly as our photographer and I would HIGHLY recommend that you do as well :)! She is amazing!

ly. She did a wonderful job coordinating the timing, location, and details of the proposal with my fiancé. We received the photos from very quickly , and they turned out beautifully. Thank you Shelly!
I am someone who takes lots of photos, but never prints or does anything with them. Knowing the person that I am, I was having a hard time buying into the "You must invest in a go...
od photographer" or the "photos will be your only memories after the day is over". Well you guys as much as I hate to admit it, it's true. When I first met with Shelly three things popped into my head- She really listened to what I wanted, her passion comes through in her work, and I wanted to be her friend. I knew I could trust her to capture not only the day’s events, but the love Matt and I have for one another and this great city. Our pictures are filled with head tilts, smirks, skyscrapers, and moments I will never forget because Shelly captured them. I can honestly say I am able to relive the day thanks to Shelly, and the emotions I feel with every flip of our pictures can attest to that. So, yes I’d recommend anyone to work with Shelly. Invest in her because she will invest in you tenfold. She will take your 9pm phone call 3 days before your wedding because you are freaking out about your first look location, or help you plan your engagement route to ensure that she captures your two greatest loves (Chicago & your future husband) because she will take the time to listen to how important it is to you. There is a lot of talent out there, but trust me when I say on this special day you want a photographer who will be there just for you. Someone who is just as anxious and excited as you are to be married. You want someone like Shelly.
Shelly was awesome to work with- she is very organized, calm, easy going, and hard working. She took our wedding photos this last September and was so accommodating. She met with u...
s at our picture location to help organize our day and gave us great advice on our time line of activities. We got our pictures back in a couple weeks after the wedding(like 2 weeks!) and they were beautiful. We are so happy we chose Shelly- she really invests her time and cares about her clients. Thanks!
I can't say enough great things about Shelly! She is so upbeat, laid-back, and wonderful to work with. She really cared about what we wanted and how we pictured our wedding day. H...
er photography style is really beautiful! We didn't do an engagement shoot but Shelly made us feel really comfortable right away. She also totally went with the flow with our large and somewhat rowdy bridal party, and got some really great pictures. Beyond just photography, she was so helpful with the coordination of the day and getting us down the aisle. I would 100% recommend her to anyone, she was fantastic!
One of the best pieces of advice we received about choosing our photographer is that it should be a person that we would be happy to hang out with since we would be spending so muc...
h time with them. That was definitely the case with Shelly! She was incredible and someone I would highly recommend. During our pre-wedding meetings she really tried to get a sense of who we are as a couple, and then took that information into our wedding day. We felt so comfortable around her and from what we've seen so far, she produced some amazing shots that captured who we are and how we felt that day. She gave great direction and helped both of us feel confident. She was able to get in the moment without getting in the way of the ceremony or events as a courtesy to our guests. She is truly a fantastic photographer!
