th her again. Everything seemed ok, we picked a dress, and went to order it. Shel stated that we didn’t need to order until May for timing so we agreed to contact her then and went on our merry way. May we be an calling and texting trying to get replies and got nothing. After all of us throwing a fuss and the bride contacting the friend who had to go as a middle man we found out the dresses we wanted weren’t even an option. They were discontinued and she didn’t inform us. The bride still wants to go through her though is EXTREMELY stressed! We make another appointment and show up. We can’t get into the shop. The elevator won’t go up the side door is locked. Shel isn’t around so we are trying to figure out a game plan. 30 minutes past our appointment as we are trying to figure out what the plan is Shel comes walking up and asks “oh did you guys have an appointment? Oh let me unlock the store for you” We get in. We pick a dress. At this point it’s weeks before the wedding so we don’t have much choice but to go with her. She promises as she is getting them from the direct vendor she can have the dresses in within 7 days. The bride calms down. All is well. The dresses weren’t even ordered by shel until like a week later(maybe more). So in reality I don’t know how long the dresses took to come in. We FINALLY have our dresses come in 2 weeks before the wedding. We were told to absolutely not have them touch it for alterations due to actually wanting to have the dresses for her big day. She had already given them her wedding dress for alterations and was FIERCELY regretting it. Towards the end an employee named Heather was the ONLY good thing about our interaction. She knew more and was more helpful than anyone else there and it’s not even her store! I get it’s COVID and stuff comes up. But to not even effectively communicate with your client ON TOP OF mishandling their special day is just ridiculous. 0/5 stars. I’m not normally the kind of person to leave such horrid reviews but I am so absolutely floored in how little care she took for my friends special day. Would honestly rather repeat high school math than step foot in that store again.

able however, I booked her over a year in advance and she up and canceled on me one month before my wedding. She realized that she didn’t have enough staff to be able to help me on my wedding day. I was given no indication prior to her up and canceling that she was experiencing staffing concerns. Also, I attempted to touch base with Shel several times since booking and she was difficult to get a response back. When I did get a response back, it was not very professional.

her sales are UNBEATABLE! Bridesmaids, Mother-of-the Bride, prom...she has it all!! Her shop is just the cutest.
