Shelter Harbor Inn

We had a 100% truly positive experience using Shelter Harbor as our venue for our daughter's wedding (ceremony and reception)., with guests occupying all of the Inns rooms. We put up a tent on the front lawn of the Inn for the reception. Paula, the event coordinator for the Inn, was extremely competent and experienced and very easy to work with. She was pleasant. patient and extremely helpful and always went out of her way to make sure everything came together as requested. Paula was always available for a question or concern which was so comforting and made working with her such a pleasure. Rob, the head of Food and Beverage, was also a pleasure to work with, and made sure everything went smoothly in his area. Our guests were raving about the food, their stay at the Inn and how beautifully our whole wedding came together, all on the grounds of SH Inn. I would highly recommend SH Inn and the wonderful staff members that will make your event special!

Our wedding plans got changed at the last minute our wedding plans moved to Rhode Island. Us and our wedding party and family needed a place to stay. My husband and I had walked through the shelter harbor inn about a year ago as a possible wedding venue at that time it was under construction we loved the quaint atmosphere of the inn. When we decided to have a small ceremony at my husband‘s parents for our wedding, we knew we wanted to stay here. We rented the 2 penthouse suites for two nights which had two bedrooms and a large common space with a huge deck outback. The natural lighting was perfect for hair and make up and the three bathrooms made for a great space for the bridesmaids and bride to get ready. On the day of our wedding it was pouring rain, the space made a great backdrop for pictures. The staff at the Shelter Harbor Inn was very accommodating and brought over breakfast and lunch for the wedding party. When it was time for us to go to our Ceremony site it was pouring rain the staff at shelter harbor inn held up umbrellas and put tents up so that the bride and bridal party could stay dry while getting to their limo bus. They really went above and beyond and provided such nice accommodations for us and our guests. Each room was decorated beautifully they were very very clean. They offered continental breakfast which we were able to enjoy outside with our guests the following morning it was an amazing experience.
