She-N-He Wedding Photography

Everything about my experience with She-N-He photography was wonderful. They far exceeded my expectation and were always willing to work with me which was important since my wedding was a destination wedding. I would highly recommend She-N-He!!

The number one thing that my husband and I wanted to be amazing for our wedding were the photos. We looked through many many portfolios before landing on She-n-He as being undeniably the best. We engaged She-n-He for the Engagement Photo/Wedding Package. Mel is a lovely lovely lady and we met her for lunch some days before our Engagement Photos and we had a blast talking to her. She is very prompt in answering emails and very good with getting to know you and gauging what you want. She worked with my husband's and my chaotic schedule to land the perfect day for our Engagement Photos (Which were STUNNING). She even worked with one of our photo venues to secure permission and a time to shoot. We had a great time taking pictures with her and paid for an extra hour (which was totally worth it). We printed almost all of the Engagement Photos that she delivered to us. On the day of our wedding she and her assistant were everywhere taking photos and being super awesome. Mel's enthusiasm radiates and makes the people around her happy. I am very pleased that she was a part of our wedding. We are looking forward to seeing the full spread of our wedding pictures (we've been teased by some amazing photos that she posted on her blog). Mel is talent, wit, and moxie and you will totally love her :)

I loved working with Melanie and her husband Steve. They have a way of making you feel so relaxed (which makes for great pictures!) but at the same time are really good at rounding up family members to take all those group photos. I also did a boudoir session with Mel. That was so fun and exciting, something I never thought I would do. But the pictures came out great and I couldn't have been happier that I did it! I cannot wait to get our wedding photos back!

I absolutely LOVE working with Melanie and Steve of She-N-He. Not only are they extremely professional and talented, they are both very passionate about photography and design. Their photographs are amazing, I couldn't have hired better people to photograph my engagement photos and wedding! I have already referred them to numerous people and will continue to! We couldn't be more impressed by SheNHe!! We were fortunate enough to Mel do our engagement pics as well as our wedding day photos. For our engagement session, the lighting was 'off' (who knew, we didn't!) so Mel offered to do a second session to ensure we got optimal lighting and a stellar end product. For the day of, it was easy & stress-free to work with her & her team - they captured all of the pics we requested ahead of time as well as some super cool candid ones. The final product was amazing and we are so very happy we chose to work with SheNHe. Would recommend to any Austinite looking for a hip yet classy, fun yet professional photographer. Also, random bonus, affordable yet you wouldn't even guess based on the final product - score! :)

Our wedding photography was everything we wanted it to be: candid, emotional, hilarious, and filled with unexpected moments! My groom and I were never overly excited about wedding photos - they always seem staged and stiff - so we told Mel (the "she" of She-n-He) to go crazy, do her thing, and just capture moments that were out of the ordinary. I knew the most important thing out of my whole wedding were my pictures and I'm so glad that She-N-He Photography were avaliable to do my wedding! I knew from the moment I saw their work on their website that I HAD to have them! Mel worked with me and suggested giving me an extra hour to capture ALL the specific pictures that I wanted taken. When they arrived, it was like family. The trio was so warm and were constantly snapping photos of everything going on. Some of my most favorite pictures are the candid shots of everyone at my grandparents house getting ready. Mel knew how to get everyone's attention while shooting and took so many shots from so many angles and now I know why...my pictures are so beautiful and unique. EVERYTHING I WANTED! Throughout the whole time spent with Mel, I feel like she really transformed into my friend and wanted to do anything she could to make the pictures for my special day perfect. I highly recommend She-N-He Photography for your special day!

I came across She-N-He 3 full years before my wedding and instantly knew that they were the photographers for me. My husband and I are in love with their style. It is artful and photo-journalistic. You can tell in her pictures that Mel not only enjoys her job and has a good time taking your photos, but that she also has a passion for her work. She-N-He's photos have a great candid approachability. Mel is wonderful at making her subjects relaxed and comfortable. Our smiles never seemed strained and nothing was forced, because you have Mel behind the camera cracking jokes and making you laugh. After meeting her, I could not imagine having my wedding without her there to set me at ease. I am so thankful that I had her taking both my wedding and engagement photos. She-N-He is worth every penny you pay for their services, and I will recommend them to all of my family and friends.

Melanie developed an excellent relationship with us and made us feel extremely comfortable. Not only were the shoots amazing but the quality, the packaging, everything was incredibly top shelf. We could not have asked for a better photographer for our special day.

I did not want a typical wedding. I wanted to to be the best party my husband I had ever thrown, and, oh, hey, we happened to get married, too. I knew I didn't want a bunch of "stand here and smile in various groups" photos. BUT! I did have a very specific list of people that I wanted pictures with. MEL. NAILED. IT. She was the greatest combination of friendly and professional, and made sure that I got all of my pictures that I wanted, while letting me enjoy my gosh darned wedding. She even came with us to the bar afterwards (yeah, I'm THAT bride) and got some hilarious drunk photos of the whole group. Not to mention she was able to accommodate us when we had to (horror!) change the wedding date. She didn't even hesitate, and told me she would figure it out. What a lady. If you aren't convinced yet, consider this: I'm still Facebook friends with her. And so is my mom, dad, maid of honor... you get the gist. What a wonderful lady, and wonderful artist. She was by far the best vendor I worked with in my wedding. Call her!

We had such a marvelous experience with She-N-He! They have been so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. They are playful and fun and the photos turned out beautifully! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I couldn't be more pleased or impressed!

Mel's unique style is exactly what we wanted in our wedding and engagement pictures! We couldn't get away from the standard family pics but I can't wait to see her take on our reception! She and Steve were everywhere! Even on the floor for close ups of my infant nephew dancing! The were a pleasure to work with, everything was about us and what we wanted. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to any friend!

Mel was an absolute pleasure to work with! She went out of her way to help us plan the perfect package for our unique destination elopement. She is full of amazing ideas and more than willing to listen to your input and ideas too! Excellent customer service. Prompt response time. I would recommend them to anyone in the Austin area!

Mel @ She-n-He is amazing. Since I was getting married in Austin but live in LA - I had to meet her via video chat. She was the first person we talked to, and we clicked with her and her style so much that we canceled all our other appointments. Let me tell you - we were not disappointed. Mel was easy to work with and added an extra hour at the last minute. I highly recommend the photo booth option. The guests had so much fun taking photos and using the props I bought. But, the best part is - I have the best photos. The memories of my day will always be preserved in these beautiful pictures. I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten Mel as my photographer!

Words cannot express how happy I am with my engagement, bridal, and wedding photos... Melanie with She-N-He is AMAZING. She has a wonderful, creative eye for photo shoots and she's very experienced. She knows how to capture every special moment of a wedding. I met her at the Austin Bridal Extravaganza and fell in love with her and her work - she's outgoing, honest, and provides amazing individual attention. And, her photos made me feel beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend that everyone check out her work on her website! And, the prices are very reasonable and competitive!

We searched high and low to find a photographer to suit our needs and still keep it in our budget. Melanie and Steve are it! They worked with us and are totally laid back. When we received our photos, we were amazed by how Melanie and her assistant managed to capture some of the most unbelievable moments. My only advice is making sure you have enough time allotted with your photographer. Melanie wanted five minutes per shot and we had a long list of pre wedding photos. Also we thought that 6 hours would have been enough but we could have used her a little longer. Luckily our friends and family captured cake cutting and late evening activities. All of which is our fault, Melanie offered an extended package, but it is good advice to know. If you are looking for a photographer who has a true talent to take incredible photos - then please consider she-n-he photography. Also, I want to mention that they are QUICK. Almost immediately after our wedding they posted our pictures online for viewing. Thank you she-n-he; we are glad we chose you!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with She-N-He Photography and Design. Mel has a very talented and artistic eye. I LOVE the way our photos turned out! They provided us with 6 hours of coverage on the day of the wedding and we bought the digital copies of all five hundred some odd images, so that we can make prints later when our budget allows- an important option for us. Additionally, I was a little concerned that since we didn't use them for our engagement pics (I did those amateur-style myself with a tripod and remote) that they wouldn't have sufficient time to "get" our personalities/style. But they did a great job communicating with us leading up to the wedding and caught all the important moments wonderfully. If you're hoping for a photojournalistic style with emotionally-saturated and beautiful images, Mel and her husband, Steve, (who also will design you a non-cheesy photo book- he's a graphic designer) won't let you down. They produced wonderful results at a comparatively great cost. We HIGHLY recommend them and hope to use them for other family photos in the future!
