Shepherd’s Hollow was truly the best venue! We had a winter wedding in January and they made all of our dreams a reality. The team was attentive and made sure every little detail was perfect! Jenna was our coordinator through the venue and she was the best to work with! I loved every part of our night and felt very comforted knowing the team at Shepherd’s Hollow would make sure everything went perfectly and smoothly.

A few years ago, I saw pictures of someone's wedding at Shepherd's Hollow, immediately called my mom and told her this was where I wanted to get married. Two days after getting engaged, we went to visit and I didn't look at any other venue. Our wedding was last weekend, and it was the best day and night of my life. Jenna, our coordinator, answered literally hundreds of questions over the past 2 years, and made all of our wishes come to life. Everything was perfect, from getting ready in the bridal suite, to the outdoor ceremony, and the reception. The venue is beautiful, the day ran without any hiccups. My only complaint is that the reception couldn't last 2 hours longer! We have received nothing but positive feedback from our guests about the venue, atmosphere, and especially the food. Everything was magical and we could not recommend Shepherd's Hollow enough! Worth every penny.

Shepherd's Hollow is an exceptional venue! We had an amazing wedding ceremony outside by the fountain and reception in The Station. The food was nothing like traditional "wedding food" and the staff was incredibly accommodating. We decided to do a golf outing the day before, it was one of the best courses we had every played. Your guests will love the beautiful scenery in the woods and glass reception hall. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue. 10/10

We recently had our wedding at Shepherd's Hollow and it was nothing short of amazing! From our initial meeting with Kelly to the planning process with Alex, all of our communications and meetings ahead of the wedding were timely and professional. The wedding day itself went off without a hitch. Alex, our day of coordinator, made sure no detail went overlooked and kept everything on time. The wait staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests with dietary restrictions were accommodated, and our guests have since commented on how delicious the food was. Overall we would recommend Shepherd's Hollow to anyone looking for a stunning venue that you and your guests will surely remember!

Shepherd's Hollow is truly an amazing, magical place. I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to have my wedding reception here. Not only is the venue absolutely breathtaking and peaceful, but the staff are responsive, caring, organized, and extremely professional. A huge thank you to the wedding coordinator Jenna, for going above and beyond in making sure that our day goes perfectly smooth. Jenna was kind, calm, and made sure to answer all of my questions throughout the planning process. I am so thankful for her help in making this the best day for us! Stunning venue, excellent food, & great team. I loved working with Jenna. She was a great help with planning and creating our vision. We received so many compliments on our wedding day and guests were blown away. If you are planning a winter wedding, be mindful that the capacity is not the same as summer months due to christmas decor. There are also limitations with the bridal suite so it may be advantageous to discuss this prior to booking. Their team was great to work with and I will always cherish our wedding day at this amazing venue.

Shepherd's Hollow was an absolute dream for our wedding venue. They beyond exceeded our expectations and our day was perfect! Everything went seamlessly! We received so many compliments all night from our guests on how incredible our wedding was, from the service, food, and of course how beautiful it was! Choosing Shepherd's Hollow for our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we've made. I am from the area, but live in Chicago, so we were looking in both cities. Shepherd's Hollow was the final venue we toured and it immediate gave us the feeling we were hoping for. I was a little worried that we wouldn't get to experience the full beauty of the venue since our wedding was in December, but I honestly think the winter experience was even better! We were able to do our first look in the daylight, but by time our guests arrived, it was dark and the Christmas lights were sparkling. It was truly a wow factor and the romantic vibe I had hoped for. Alex, our coordinator was amazing. She was extremely professional throughout the entire process, and I had confidence that everything we talked through would happen on the day of the wedding. While the venue is extremely strict with their rules, she found ways to make me feel like I was heard and find solutions that worked for both parties. We knew going into it from other brides that they're extremely strict and pricy, so I had kept those expectations throughout the process and trusted that their team knows what they're doing and how to keep their reputation so high. They definitely exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing, the service was great. I had multiple guests with allergies and they had specific servers for them who knew their orders beforehand. It made my guests feel special and "like royalty". I would definitely recommend Shepherd's Hollow if you're okay with staying within their guidelines. It turned out to be the wedding of my dreams and a night so many of our guests said was "the best wedding they've been to".

Our wedding at Shepherd's Hollow was absolutely incredible and everything we ever could have imagined! After our initial tour of the space, with the beautiful trees and how it lit up at night, we knew we had to have our reception at Shepherd's Hollow. Kelly was incredible to work with, getting us set in place, and our coordinator Jenna was absolutely amazing and so soo helpful with every step along the way. The food was absolutely incredible, our guests raved about their meals, the hors d'oeuvres, the desserts, etc. Everything was amazing. Our guests absolutely loved being able to mingle outside around The Station and dance inside. Our wedding was everything we could hoped for and we're so grateful for the incredible team at Shepherd's Hollow. We are so excited to hopefully be back as guests for future wedding since we'll be recommending to our friends and family!

Shepherd’s Hollow is truly a magical place. After driving through the pine trees and seeing The Station for the first time, we knew this is where we wanted to celebrate our wedding. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the staff is incredible. From start to finish, they made everything a smooth process. Our wedding coordinator, Jenna, was fantastic and so calming throughout the whole wedding planning process! We knew that April weather can be unpredictable; but we were committed to having the ceremony outside even in the rain. Jenna was so calming and even brought out hair dryers to help dry my dress before the reception! I would recommend this venue to anyone, whether you have the wedding inside or out, rain or shine. Thank you all again for making our wedding perfect.

I had my engagement party here on May 5, 2023, and the entire experience- from visiting the venue for the first time to the very end of the party- was exceptional. There are not enough good things to say about this place. The beauty of the venue with the flooring and architecture is really breathtaking, the drive up past the woods and the clearing with the pond transforms you to a different world. I have attended events at every hotel, banquet hall, and restaurant in the area and there is only so much that can decoration can do to make a place beautiful. The beauty of this venue is truly beyond compare. I feel very blessed to have the pleasure of working with Alexandra, our coordinator. Alex took care of everything. We did not hire a planner and Alex certainly would have made a hired planner obsolete. We knew exactly which vendors we wanted to work with and Alex organized their arrivals, contracts and all the details with them. The entire experience of working with her was simple and stress free. Alex and her entire team- from the servers to the trolley drivers- were outstanding. The service at this place is unparalleled. The food was some of the best food I have ever had at an event. There were no misses here. They really know how to organize themselves so that every guest is given due attention, that every dietary restriction is handled smoothly, and the team was so smooth to make sure there was no time difference in every table getting their food. I cannot recommend this venue enough, I hope everyone going through the joyful time of their wedding celebrations has as smooth and pleasant of an experience!

Shepherd's Hollow went above and beyond my expectations. Not only is it a gorgeous venue, the staff and food were truly amazing. My husband and I had our wedding there last weekend and could not be happier with how everything turned out - our family and friends are still talking about how perfect everything was! Our Wedding Coordinator, Jenna, at Shepherd's Hollow was outstanding! I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. Jenna provided us with a seamless experience from start to finish. She provided ongoing communication, prompt follow-ups, and was quick to accommodate our needs. On the day of the wedding, I knew Jenna had everything under control which allowed us to enjoy every minute of our day. In the midst of directing guests and vendors, she even took the time to bring out a plate of appetizers for us as we took photos during cocktail hour AND had a drink for me as well as a plate of lamb lollipops waiting for my husband as soon as we sat down for the reception!! We are extremely satisfied with our experience and would highly recommend Shepherd's Hollow for an incredible and unforgettable wedding!

I don’t even know where to begin! Shepherd’s Hollow was the most beautiful venue for our wedding. Kelly and Jenna were amazing to work with and made the whole planning process so easy. Jenna was our day-of-wedding coordinator and she made sure everything was perfect. Any questions I had before the wedding were answered promptly, and Jenna put me at ease knowing she would be there taking care of all the little details. The day of the wedding she was there early to set up our gift table, place cards, favors, etc. and made everything look so beautiful. Throughout the whole day Jenna was constantly checking in with us to see if we needed anything, and overall just made our day absolutely perfect! The chef is outstanding and all of the food, from the appetizers to the plated meal to the late night snack, was by far the most delicious I’ve ever had. The dessert table was to die for and had so many different treats to pick from! I cannot say enough great things about Shepherd’s Hollow. The entire staff was fabulous and I cannot thank them enough. So many of our guests commented on how that was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to and it is all thanks to the amazing staff. Thank you so much for making our wedding day the most magical day of our lives!!

Our guests had such a positive experience from the ambiance and service to the food. They’ll definitely be talking about our Wedding at SH for years. Truly a top notch venue. Our coordinator, Alex, was very easy to work with and gave her honest opinion about things she has seen work/not work for other couples and worked seamlessly with my own wedding planner. We did not expect to spend as much as we did, but was worth every penny for the experience. I’ve already recommended SH to future brides looking at venues!

Everything from the emails with the event coordinator Alex and the exceptional service provided from Shepherd's Hollow is beyond anything I have witnessed. Everything was perfect for our wedding day as far as organization vendors down to the smallest details in assisting with our cigar bar decor. I highly recommend this venue!

The venue itself is unbeatable!!! It is stunning to look at from every direction!! The coordinators are welcoming, friendly, and positive!! Super helpful to have them to get details organized!! The only downside is the price, but its only your wedding day once :)

Getting married at Shepherd's Hollow made all my dreams come true. We were treated like royalty and the ambiance made us feel like we were in a dream. The food and service was amazing. My wedding guests were in complete awe. Best day of my life, highly recommend!

Shepherds Hollow held our wedding reception and it was down right gorgeous. Jenna was our coordinator and did a fantastic job. The team at Shepherds Hollow works with you every step of the way. They know what they are doing and on your big day everything will come out perfect. The food is outstanding and your guests will appreciate every last bite. The waitstaff is well taken care of from the venue and act professionally which is somewhat of a rarity these days. Overall, a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone.

Having our wedding at Shepherd’s Hollow was the best decision we could have made. From start to finish, the staff at Shepherd’s Hollow made the entire process seamless, enjoyable, and breathtaking. 6+ months later, our guests are still swooning over the venue and the food. We have been told by almost all of the guests that it was by far the best venue they’ve been to, and the best wedding food they’ve had! Kelly was our initial point of contact before we got transitioned to Jenna as our day of coordinator and I can’t say enough positive things about these ladies. Kelly from the start was professional and made sure we felt at ease about the venue (as it was still being built at the time). Jenna’s attention to detail was superior and she made sure everything was taken care of the months leading up to our wedding as well as the day of - the day couldn’t have run more smoothly thanks to Jenna. She was so quick to answer any and all questions we had and was always there to help me navigate all of the decisions. I would absolutely recommend utilizing the bridal suite to get ready the morning of. The room was beautiful, the food was great and the staff was very attentive. We couldn’t recommend Shepherd’s Hollow more… I would choose this venue over and over again!

We got married 12/10/22 and I'm so glad it was at Shepherds Hollow. I rented the bridal suite to get ready in the morning with my bridesmaids and then we had both the ceremony and reception on site. The day was flawless, we can't think of a single thing that went wrong or unplanned. A lot of that is thanks to our Shepherds Hollow coordinator, Jenna, who was on site with us all day long. She communicated with all of our vendors and kept us right on time with our schedule. There were a couple things that we originally wanted that we ended up needing to compromise on due to how much the extra cost was going to be (ex: to offer a "his" and "hers" signature drink during cocktail hour) but we would do it a thousand times over because we couldn't ask for a more perfect wedding day than the one we had!

Not only is the venue stunning, the service is top notch! Many of our guests could not believe how prompt dinner service was and how delicious and HOT the food was. As a bride, Jenna, my day of coordinator was looking out for me in so many ways I didn't even know I needed! It was so nice having her as a part of our big day. Overall, this was a great venue and so happy to have had my dream wedding at this dreamy venue!

Where do I start! Like every couple, my husband and I had our eyes on Shepherd's Hollow new venue (The Station) since it was being built back in 2020. I have to say, we booked the venue prematurely, and purely based on the look. Which is the only reason I gave the venue 2 starts instead of 0. The beauty of the venue speaks for itself, and the food and drinks were immaculate, but if your guests are partiers like mine, this is NOT the venue for you. 1. I rented the bridal suite for over $2,000 and my bridesmaids and I weren't able to access it after the ceremony, so from 5 PM and on, we were operating out of the coat closet for the whole night........ yes, the coat closet. It was chaotic, messy, and looked so embarrassing to our guests when they saw us. Shepherd's Hollow reasoning was because people get drunk and pass out in the room..... WHO CARES RIGHT?! Also, my mom left her MEDICINE in there and they wouldn't let her go back in. Either way, when you pay so much for something that should be included to begin with, you expect to have access all night. 2. They are clearly going through growing and operational pains, for example, when a glass breaks on the dance floor, instead of clearing that section to clean up and letting the party continue, they basically shut down the entire party to clean up the 1 broken glass. Music and dancing is put on hold for 5-15 minutes (depending on how fast the staff works). There was about 30 - 45 minutes of our night spent on cleaning up broken glass. and mind you we probably only had 3 broken glasses. I actually give my guests props for not breaking more!! its a wedding!!! 3. Another operational/growing pain- when we had speeches going on, the staff was clearing the guests dinner plates while people were speaking. I have no clue why they couldn't have waited for it to be done before doing so, but no one was able to hear any of the speeches because the staff was so loud in their clean up 4. My suggestions, if you just care to have a pretty wedding, get married here! but if you have guests that like to have a good time, this is NOT the venue for you!!!! My only regret of my wedding unfortunately is not reading reviews more. But we also booked them right when they opened. Some other things to note: 1. Nothing is included with the venue, everything is an additional cost (including using the fountain as your ceremony, bridal suite, keeping your wedding going until 11:30 PM vs 10:30 PM) -- Everything is an added cost. Prepare to spend over 50k on the venue alone for 200+ guests 2. You can't outsource anything for food!!!!! I wish I knew this before signing with them :( we love to support small businesses and couldn't at all because of their guidelines. The only thing you can bring from an outside vendor is your wedding cake. My final thoughts to future brides, Michigan has a lot of beautiful venues. For what you're paying here, you want your guests to have a good time and honestly, you can find a better venue. I do NOT recommend Shepherd's Hollow! Even my guests had bad reviews about service :(
