Shepherd's Hollow is truly an amazing, magical place. I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to have my wedding reception here. Not only is the venue absolutely breathtaking and peaceful, but the staff are responsive, caring, organized, and extremely professional. A huge thank you to the wedding coordinator Jenna, for going above and beyond in making sure that our day goes perfectly smooth. Jenna was kind, calm, and made sure to answer all of my questions throughout the planning process. I am so thankful for her help in making this the best day for us! All of our guests cannot stop raving that this was the best wedding that they have ever been to. I will forever be grateful to Shepherd's Hollow and the entire staff!

I have been trying to construct the right words and I am still at a loss several days later. I just wanted to express how genuinely thankful I am for all the hard work each member of this team put into our day and the days leading up to it. It was the most magical day and so stress free thanks to each of their hands in everything. The staff were such a great support and so on top of everything. I just cannot thank them enough. Everyone helped ease so many of my nerves and just allowed me to enjoy the day and for that I am forever thankful! This venue is full of incredible people who are so incredible at what they do. I am going to miss working with them so much!!!

We loved having our wedding here! The modern architecture and up north-like landscape made for a stunning backdrop for our day. Our guests were very pleased with cocktail hour and dinner, especially the variety of drink options and the appetizer selections — which were very fun to choose at the showcase! The bridal suite was ideal for getting ready as well. It made the day so relaxed even with a larger bridal party. Jenna was a huge help with details and all of my questions. The timeline for our day couldn’t have gone any smoother! This venue truly has it all and was built with the guest experience in mind. If you want a beautiful modern wedding, this is truly a gem in Michigan!

Stunning venue, excellent food, & great team. I loved working with Jenna. She was a great help with planning and creating our vision. We received so many compliments on our wedding day and guests were blown away. If you are planning a winter wedding, be mindful that the capacity is not the same as summer months due to christmas decor. There are also limitations with the bridal suite so it may be advantageous to discuss this prior to booking. Their team was great to work with and I will always cherish our wedding day at this amazing venue.

Shepherd's Hollow was an absolute dream for our wedding venue. From our first planning meeting with Kelly, to the follow up planning and day of coordinating from Alex, we felt well taken care of and that our wedding would be in good hands. They beyond exceeded our expectations and our day was perfect! Everything went seamlessly! We received so many compliments all night from our guests on how incredible our wedding was, from the service, food, and of course how beautiful it was! Shepherd's Hollow made our wedding planning fun and stress free!

Choosing Shepherd's Hollow for our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we've made. I am from the area, but live in Chicago, so we were looking in both cities. Shepherd's Hollow was the final venue we toured and it immediate gave us the feeling we were hoping for. I was a little worried that we wouldn't get to experience the full beauty of the venue since our wedding was in December, but I honestly think the winter experience was even better! We were able to do our first look in the daylight, but by time our guests arrived, it was dark and the Christmas lights were sparkling. It was truly a wow factor and the romantic vibe I had hoped for. Alex, our coordinator was amazing. She was extremely professional throughout the entire process, and I had confidence that everything we talked through would happen on the day of the wedding. While the venue is extremely strict with their rules, she found ways to make me feel like I was heard and find solutions that worked for both parties. We knew going into it from other brides that they're extremely strict and pricy, so I had kept those expectations throughout the process and trusted that their team knows what they're doing and how to keep their reputation so high. They definitely exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing, the service was great. I had multiple guests with allergies and they had specific servers for them who knew their orders beforehand. It made my guests feel special and "like royalty". I would definitely recommend Shepherd's Hollow if you're okay with staying within their guidelines. It turned out to be the wedding of my dreams and a night so many of our guests said was "the best wedding they've been to".

Our wedding at SH was such an incredible experience. From meeting day one with Kelly to the end of night at the reception. We’ve had nothing but a positive experience!! We had our daughter's wedding reception at the Station at Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club. The wedding reception was amazing! What a beautiful drive through the tall pines to arrive at the grand Station! Inside you are surrounded by windows and marble floors. We had so many comments on how delicious the appetizers and main course dinner was and how the staff was so attentive. We appreciate very much the help from Jenna McDonnell in making it all happen!

Still can't believe how lucky we are to have gotten married here! This place is a dream and worth every penny. We got married in June, but having seen the venue at various points throughout the year there is no bad time to choose this venue (though it's particularly beautiful in the summer and at Christmas time). It's impossible to take a bad photo of this place! The food is SO so good. I dread bad wedding chicken, so went in pretty skeptical, but we served filet, chicken, and a custom pasta option that our guests are still raving about months later. We opted for the gold package with the ultra premium bar, and it was worth it for that splurge. Our guests were so impressed with the custom stamped ice cubes, the premium liquor selection, and expanded wine options. The appetizers were great--while you definitely need to go to the tasting expo to find the good options, we found 4 that we were happy with. And the venue saved the groom and I a special plate of apps so that we could try them during dinner. We rented the bridal suite which is a MUST for any bride here! The attendant took care of our every need, from food to coffee and tea, and while I wasn't particularly nervous or stressed to begin with, the level of service in this suite made getting ready a breeze! We were warned about the acoustics not being great in such a big space, but we had no issue at all. We could hear the ceremony music (harp and violin), DJ, speeches all just fine. Would recommend talking to your DJ about the space first if they've never been there, but if they're a professional they should be just fine. All in all just can't say enough good things about the Shepherd's Hollow team, space, details, food, communication, set up...I can't wait to go back for anniversary dinners and will be encouraging all my friends to choose this space so that I can experience another magical wedding here!

At first, we loved the venue simply for the look, but we quickly learned the coordinators, food, and service are all top-notch. Our wedding was around 200 people and every single guest was taken care of throughout the night. We had so many guests rave about how quickly servers would help them. The bar never had a long line. The food was great. Our coordinator Jenna was so sweet and helpful. She helped us with each and every detail. Shepherd's charges for everything for a reason. They work their tail off to make everything perfect. We stepped inside the building just before the ceremony and were in awe at the number of people shining the glass, wiping the floors, and making sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend Shepherd's Hollow for a beautiful and absolutely perfect wedding day.

Our wedding was absolutely spectacular, beginning to end! Shepherd's Hollow is beautiful, and every guest could not stop talking about how amazing the food and party was weeks after our wedding. The staff is outstanding, everything from booking with Kelly to the working with our coordinator Alex. Any questions or emails I sent with questions I had a response on average within 24 hours or sooner. The venue is stunning, and I can't wait to see our final photos, this was a once in a lifetime experience and my husband and I had no regrets. The full experience was top notch!

Our wedding at Shepherd's Hollow was absolutely incredible and everything we ever could have imagined! After our initial tour of the space, with the beautiful trees and how it lit up at night, we knew we had to have our reception at Shepherd's Hollow. Kelly was incredible to work with, getting us set in place, and our coordinator Jenna was absolutely amazing and so soo helpful with every step along the way. The food was absolutely incredible, our guests raved about their meals, the hors d'oeuvres, the desserts, etc. Everything was amazing. Our guests absolutely loved being able to mingle outside around The Station and dance inside. Our wedding was everything we could hoped for and we're so grateful for the incredible team at Shepherd's Hollow. We are so excited to hopefully be back as guests for future wedding since we'll be recommending to our friends and family!

Food was great and the staff was awesome. We loved our coordinator Alex! beautiful venue and bridal suite. One thing to note is the acoustics inside the station were bad and echoy and speeches were hard to hear if the speakers didn’t hold microphones super close. Most requests and modifications cost extra ie extra time in bridal suite, serving passed drinks, extra hour on reception. Overall perfect wedding!!

Shepherd’s Hollow is truly a magical place. After driving through the pine trees and seeing The Station for the first time, we knew this is where we wanted to celebrate our wedding. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the staff is incredible. From start to finish, they made everything a smooth process. Our wedding coordinator, Jenna, was fantastic and so calming throughout the whole wedding planning process! We knew that April weather can be unpredictable; but we were committed to having the ceremony outside even in the rain. Jenna was so calming and even brought out hair dryers to help dry my dress before the reception! I would recommend this venue to anyone, whether you have the wedding inside or out, rain or shine. Thank you all again for making our wedding perfect.

I had my engagement party here on May 5, 2023, and the entire experience- from visiting the venue for the first time to the very end of the party- was exceptional. There are not enough good things to say about this place. The beauty of the venue with the flooring and architecture is really breathtaking, the drive up past the woods and the clearing with the pond transforms you to a different world. I have attended events at every hotel, banquet hall, and restaurant in the area and there is only so much that can decoration can do to make a place beautiful. The beauty of this venue is truly beyond compare. I feel very blessed to have the pleasure of working with Alexandra, our coordinator. Alex took care of everything. We did not hire a planner and Alex certainly would have made a hired planner obsolete. We knew exactly which vendors we wanted to work with and Alex organized their arrivals, contracts and all the details with them. The entire experience of working with her was simple and stress free. Alex and her entire team- from the servers to the trolley drivers- were outstanding. The service at this place is unparalleled. The food was some of the best food I have ever had at an event. There were no misses here. They really know how to organize themselves so that every guest is given due attention, that every dietary restriction is handled smoothly, and the team was so smooth to make sure there was no time difference in every table getting their food. I cannot recommend this venue enough, I hope everyone going through the joyful time of their wedding celebrations has as smooth and pleasant of an experience!

Shepherd's Hollow went above and beyond my expectations. Not only is it a gorgeous venue, the staff and food were truly amazing. My husband and I had our wedding there last weekend and could not be happier with how everything turned out - our family and friends are still talking about how perfect everything was! Our Wedding Coordinator, Jenna, at Shepherd's Hollow was outstanding! I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. Jenna provided us with a seamless experience from start to finish. She provided ongoing communication, prompt follow-ups, and was quick to accommodate our needs. On the day of the wedding, I knew Jenna had everything under control which allowed us to enjoy every minute of our day. In the midst of directing guests and vendors, she even took the time to bring out a plate of appetizers for us as we took photos during cocktail hour AND had a drink for me as well as a plate of lamb lollipops waiting for my husband as soon as we sat down for the reception!! We are extremely satisfied with our experience and would highly recommend Shepherd's Hollow for an incredible and unforgettable wedding!

I don’t even know where to begin! Shepherd’s Hollow was the most beautiful venue for our wedding. Kelly and Jenna were amazing to work with and made the whole planning process so easy. Jenna was our day-of-wedding coordinator and she made sure everything was perfect. Any questions I had before the wedding were answered promptly, and Jenna put me at ease knowing she would be there taking care of all the little details. The day of the wedding she was there early to set up our gift table, place cards, favors, etc. and made everything look so beautiful. Throughout the whole day Jenna was constantly checking in with us to see if we needed anything, and overall just made our day absolutely perfect! The chef is outstanding and all of the food, from the appetizers to the plated meal to the late night snack, was by far the most delicious I’ve ever had. The dessert table was to die for and had so many different treats to pick from! I cannot say enough great things about Shepherd’s Hollow. The entire staff was fabulous and I cannot thank them enough. So many of our guests commented on how that was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to and it is all thanks to the amazing staff. Thank you so much for making our wedding day the most magical day of our lives!!

Our coordinator, Alex, was very easy to work with and gave her honest opinion about things she has seen work/not work for other couples and worked seamlessly with my own wedding planner. Everything from the emails with the event coordinator Alex and the exceptional service provided from Shepherd's Hollow is beyond anything I have witnessed. Everything was perfect for our wedding day as far as organization vendors down to the smallest details in assisting with our cigar bar decor. I highly recommend this venue!

The venue itself is unbeatable!!! It is stunning to look at from every direction!! The coordinators are welcoming, friendly, and positive!! Super helpful to have them to get details organized!! The only downside is the price, but its only your wedding day once :)

Shepherds Hollow held our wedding reception and it was down right gorgeous. Jenna was our coordinator and did a fantastic job. The team at Shepherds Hollow works with you every step of the way. They know what they are doing and on your big day everything will come out perfect. The food is outstanding and your guests will appreciate every last bite. The waitstaff is well taken care of from the venue and act professionally which is somewhat of a rarity these days. Overall, a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone.

Having our wedding at Shepherd’s Hollow was the best decision we could have made. From start to finish, the staff at Shepherd’s Hollow made the entire process seamless, enjoyable, and breathtaking. 6+ months later, our guests are still swooning over the venue and the food. We have been told by almost all of the guests that it was by far the best venue they’ve been to, and the best wedding food they’ve had! Kelly was our initial point of contact before we got transitioned to Jenna as our day of coordinator and I can’t say enough positive things about these ladies. Kelly from the start was professional and made sure we felt at ease about the venue (as it was still being built at the time). Jenna’s attention to detail was superior and she made sure everything was taken care of the months leading up to our wedding as well as the day of - the day couldn’t have run more smoothly thanks to Jenna. She was so quick to answer any and all questions we had and was always there to help me navigate all of the decisions. I would absolutely recommend utilizing the bridal suite to get ready the morning of. The room was beautiful, the food was great and the staff was very attentive. We couldn’t recommend Shepherd’s Hollow more… I would choose this venue over and over again!

We got married 12/10/22 and I'm so glad it was at Shepherds Hollow. I rented the bridal suite to get ready in the morning with my bridesmaids and then we had both the ceremony and reception on site. The day was flawless, we can't think of a single thing that went wrong or unplanned. A lot of that is thanks to our Shepherds Hollow coordinator, Jenna, who was on site with us all day long. She communicated with all of our vendors and kept us right on time with our schedule. There were a couple things that we originally wanted that we ended up needing to compromise on due to how much the extra cost was going to be (ex: to offer a "his" and "hers" signature drink during cocktail hour) but we would do it a thousand times over because we couldn't ask for a more perfect wedding day than the one we had!

Our wedding at Shepherd's Hollow was a dream! From our first meeting with Kelly, to our more detailed visits with our day of coordinator, Jenna, we knew we were in good hands. Not only is the venue stunning, the service is top notch! Many of our guests could not believe how prompt dinner service was and how delicious and HOT the food was. As a bride, Jenna, my day of coordinator was looking out for me in so many ways I didn't even know I needed! It was so nice having her as a part of our big day. Overall, this was a great venue and so happy to have had my dream wedding at this dreamy venue!

Where do I start! Like every couple, my husband and I had our eyes on Shepherd's Hollow new venue (The Station) since it was being built back in 2020. I have to say, we booked the venue prematurely, and purely based on the look. Which is the only reason I gave the venue 2 starts instead of 0. The beauty of the venue speaks for itself, and the food and drinks were immaculate, but if your guests are partiers like mine, this is NOT the venue for you. 1. I rented the bridal suite for over $2,000 and my bridesmaids and I weren't able to access it after the ceremony, so from 5 PM and on, we were operating out of the coat closet for the whole night........ yes, the coat closet. It was chaotic, messy, and looked so embarrassing to our guests when they saw us. Shepherd's Hollow reasoning was because people get drunk and pass out in the room..... WHO CARES RIGHT?! Also, my mom left her MEDICINE in there and they wouldn't let her go back in. Either way, when you pay so much for something that should be included to begin with, you expect to have access all night. 2. They are clearly going through growing and operational pains, for example, when a glass breaks on the dance floor, instead of clearing that section to clean up and letting the party continue, they basically shut down the entire party to clean up the 1 broken glass. Music and dancing is put on hold for 5-15 minutes (depending on how fast the staff works). There was about 30 - 45 minutes of our night spent on cleaning up broken glass. and mind you we probably only had 3 broken glasses. I actually give my guests props for not breaking more!! its a wedding!!! 3. Another operational/growing pain- when we had speeches going on, the staff was clearing the guests dinner plates while people were speaking. I have no clue why they couldn't have waited for it to be done before doing so, but no one was able to hear any of the speeches because the staff was so loud in their clean up 4. My suggestions, if you just care to have a pretty wedding, get married here! but if you have guests that like to have a good time, this is NOT the venue for you!!!! My only regret of my wedding unfortunately is not reading reviews more. But we also booked them right when they opened. Some other things to note: 1. Nothing is included with the venue, everything is an additional cost (including using the fountain as your ceremony, bridal suite, keeping your wedding going until 11:30 PM vs 10:30 PM) -- Everything is an added cost. Prepare to spend over 50k on the venue alone for 200+ guests 2. You can't outsource anything for food!!!!! I wish I knew this before signing with them :( we love to support small businesses and couldn't at all because of their guidelines. The only thing you can bring from an outside vendor is your wedding cake. My final thoughts to future brides, Michigan has a lot of beautiful venues. For what you're paying here, you want your guests to have a good time and honestly, you can find a better venue. I do NOT recommend Shepherd's Hollow! Even my guests had bad reviews about service :(

We got married at Shepherd's Hollow just a few days ago and it was the best day ever! The planning process was very easy and Kelly and our wedding coordinator Jenna were wonderful to work with! The venue is absolutely spectacular and we received so many compliments about the space and had multiple people asking where we got married when they saw the beautiful photos! The Shepherd's Hollow event team kept everything in check which allowed the day of to go extremely smooth and allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the day. Everyone also loved the food from the dinner to dessert to the late night snack. It truly was a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this venue for your big day :)

We held our wedding ceremony and reception here on 6/10/22. From start to finish the entire process was incredibly smooth and enjoyable - not something you typically hear about wedding planning! Kelly was our event planner and she did an amazing job of making sure every detail was thought out and executed perfectly. Kelly was always kind and prompt to communicate and answer our many questions along the way. My bridal party and I got ready in the bridal suite the day of the wedding and I would highly recommend utilizing this. A big thank you to Hannah for being so attentive to us as we got ready! The venue's beauty speaks for itself, but our guests are still raving about the food, the service, and the bar! So many have commented that it was the best and most beautiful wedding venue they have ever seen. We would highly recommend Shepherd's Hollow for your wedding, and wish that we could relive our perfect day!

We just got married at Shepherd’s Hollow. It is the most beautiful venue. The staff was so easy and stress free. Everything went perfect. We celebrated our daughters wedding at Shepherds Hollow 3/25/22. It was perfect! Alyssa helped to make sure every detail was just as we planned and she kept the reception running smoothly from beginning to end. It was as perfect as we hoped and expected it would be at this absolutely stunningly beautiful venue!!

The most incredible venue in Michigan! They made our day so insanely perfect. Our guests were shocked with how beautiful everything was, how delicious the food was, the insane bar selection, how attentive the staff was, etc. Our venue day coordinator, Jenna (from Shepherd's) was so helpful and made the day run perfectly. She knew exactly what to do and figure out before we even had to ask, we were in such great hands with her. She was more on top of things than we could have asked, and so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire wedding planning process. This venue is 100% worth it and I am so happy we were able to book them. It is a venue that your wedding guests will be talking about for years. The venue goes out of their way to make sure their clients love their wedding day. They even were able to cater an entire donut bar with an assortment of different donuts from a local bakery for us. I would recommend this venue to everyone!

Getting married at Shepherd's Hollow was a dream! The team is as good as it gets - from planning to execution, no detail is missed and everything is top notch. Alli S- where to even begin! From the start, Kelly and here team were incredible! I always felt like my voice was heard and that I had options! They truly worked with us on making our dream day a reality. The year, months, week and day leading up to my wedding were all stress free and super easy! It was such a beautiful venue and the service was top notch! Couldn’t recommend a venue and team more!

"Wow!" is what our guests said as soon as they saw this venue! It was the perfect location for our New Years Eve wedding. Not only did the design of the building blow my guests away, the food was HANDS DOWN the best food any of us have had a wedding. The chef and his team have it down to an art. From cocktail hour to our plated dinner to our dessert table - I wish I could relive my wedding night just for the food. My best friend's father who is a cattle farmer and knows his beef, was utterly impressed with the steak. I am so impressed and bewildered as to how the chef was able to cook 130 filets to the perfect temperature! It's unheard of! A week later and my guests are still raving about the delicious food and cocktails! Shoutout to Jamie, the Beverage Director, for perfecting my signature cocktail - the espresso martini. It was made just the way I like it! He was so sweet and made sure me and my wedding party were well taken care of! We spent a majority of the day in the Bridal Suite which is so well decorated and spacious enough for all the ladies to get our hair and makeup done! Highly recommend taking advantage of the bridal suite. I cannot express how incredible our experience was with the entire team at Shepherd's Hollow. Kelly and Jenna are rockstars and made the entire planning process seamless. We planned our wedding from out of state and it could not have been easier. Kelly and Jenna gave me so many recommendations for vendors and local tips. Each step of the planning process was so special. Jenna went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and got everything I wanted. She also was wonderful at corralling our family and wedding party for the rehearsal and group photos. She coordinated the whole day with ease and I am so thankful for her. I cannot wait to see photos from the event, but photos will never do Shepherd's Hollow justice. It is a MUST SEE venue - truly breathtaking. Our Southern guests thought we were crazy for having a winter wedding in Michigan, but the tall evergreen trees, small amount snow, and Christmas lights made it the perfect setting for a romantic winter wedding. It also didn't hurt that Shepherd's Hollow has heated sidewalks so there was no chance of slipping on ice and we served hot chocolate as guests arrived! We are so happy and proud to have been married at Shepherd's Hollow - I just wish I could do it over again and again!

Everything about our reception at Shepherd’s Hollow was perfect. Not only was the venue itself stunning, but the service was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly. The food was so delicious. Jenna, our coordinator, was great and beyond helpful the day of the wedding. We received so many compliments from our guests. This place is a fantasy. We had the best day of our whole lives and Cassie was incredible. She made our wedding dreams come true at SHGC and we can’t thank her enough. The food is amazing, the bartenders made great drinks and the space is obviously gorgeous. Our guests had nothing but awesome things to say about the space and the staff. Thanks for everything❤️

I cannot say enough good things about Shepherd’s Hollow! Besides being one of the most BEAUTIFUL venues I’ve ever seen in Michigan, the people are also amazing. Cassie was our wedding coordinator (provided by shepherds hollow) and was so helpful with planning our wedding down to every last detail. It unfortunately rained the day of our wedding and we had to move the ceremony inside but the Shepherds Hollow team made it the best experience for us. They were quick to act and made everything perfect. These are the type of people you want to surround yourself with on your wedding day. Our guests couldn’t say enough wonderful things about their experience….they still talk about how amazing it was!!! The staff helped walk each guest inside with an umbrella to make sure no one got rained on! The food came out hot and was delicious! The bartenders were amazing and someone always made sure I had a fresh drink. Jamie, the food and beverage coordinator, really knew how to take care of his guests. I hope we get invited to a wedding at Shepherd’s Hollow so we can go there again!!

The Venue is truly one of a kind and a hidden gem at a great location right off of I-75 at one of the best courses in MI. The staff was incredibly professional and helpful and accommodating especially on the day of. We had multiple people ask about the venue for their own weddings because they were blown away! Jenna is on top of her game and the food is first class! Highly recommend for anyone on their special day!

We booked Shepherd’s Hollow in 2019 before the meeting venue was built based off the renderings. From our initial meeting with Kelly, we knew we were in good hands. We had a 2 year engagement and felt like we were always in contact with them about any new updates or changes going on with the venue or the menu. Leading up to our 10/16/21 wedding date we worked with Cassie then transitioned to Jenna. Every person we spoke with was so helpful, responsive and caring. Even at our food tasting the chef came out to chat with us. Jenna was amazing as our coordinator. I think we emailed 100 times together in the final 45 days and she was just the best. She responded so quickly and gave me detailed answers. She made me feel calm about the entire day when I had some nerves about small details. She was our day of coordinator and really made sure the entire day was smooth. It was a pleasure having her ensure our wedding day at Shepherd’s Hollow was everything we wanted. The day of was utterly amazing. We had our ceremony at the venue which was beyond perfection then cocktail hour followed by dinner/dancing. We went with the upgraded bar package which I highly recommend as it has all the good stuff. Our appetizers were bruschetta, spring rolls, coconut chicken, crab cakes and bacon wrapped scallop. I’ve been to numerous weddings where I felt the staff handing food out was awkward and I had to chase them down and/or the appetizers weren’t warm. Of course Shepherd’s Hollow was nothing short of amazing. Our guests raved about the starters and that they were warm. There was also plenty to go around. They even came to the wedding party while we were waiting to be announced to give us some and had some at the head table in case we wanted more. Our main dinner was char grilled steak, lobster, goat cheese mashed potatoes and broccolini with the Michigan cherry salad but sub in feta instead of blue cheese. Every guest told us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We were worried about 200 people getting filet that was cooked medium and everyone’s was seriously perfect and enjoyed a great meal. A guest was pregnant and even mentioned the staff gave her extra mashed potatoes to sub her lobster and ensured her filet was cooked well since she can’t have anything less being pregnant. It’s those little things that make a difference about the care and attention the staff provided. We got in the bridal suite at 9 am and had 9 people. The breakfast spread was amazing and so was the lunch. Our makeup and hair artists loved the bridal suite for the chairs and all the plugs too. It was so fun being there together in the morning. They kept the champagne flowing too! Only recommendation is working with a DJ who can figure out the acoustics in a very large glass building. Unfortunately none of our guests could hear the speeches but us sitting right next to them. Not anything on Shepherd’s Hollow though! Overall I am blown away by the service, beauty, time and attention of our venue. It’s not only just breathtakingly beautiful. It is filled with staff that really wants to make sure the money you’re spending to be there is very well worth it. (Which is great as it’s a pricey venue). I wouldn’t have changed a single thing about our day. Thank you to the staff, Kelly and Jenna for being my rocks during this 2 year engagement. Short review: Get married at Shepherd’s Hollow. You will not regret it.

I've taken so long to write this review because I didn't know where to begin! This venue is the most beautiful anywhere in the county, probably the State! It's within city limits, but it has an amazing, upscale, northern feel, tucked away between well-trimmed pines and lush landscaping. The grounds, the building, patio space, bridal suite, restrooms, and bars are magazine-worthy. The location requires very little decor because it would take away from its natural beauty and superior architecture. The wedding coordinators are absolutely the best! They were very professional and knowledgable, yet warm and helpful with even the smallest details. We managed to pull off the most memorable wedding in 6 weeks with their help and incredible staff. Food and drinks matched the quality of everything else, which is not always the case with some venues. Linens, tables, glassware and settings were perfect and there were many styles to choose from! Guests continue to express that this was the best venue and wedding they have attended. Be sure to vet a DJ to make sure they understand how to set up quality sound in an all glass building. That was the only issue we had but that was no fault of the venue staff (we hired the DJ and weren't knowledgable enough to know this would be an issue). Our daughter in law has expressed many times that the wedding exceeded her dreams in every way - the combination of having friends and family in a dreamy location was worth every dollar spent!

This venue is an absolute dream. The staff was incredible to work with. They were a big part in making our day the perfect celebration and I couldn't be more thankful for them. Our family and friends couldn't say enough wonderful things about their experience as a guest. The food was great, the bar lines moved quickly (very important) and the atmosphere was magical. From a bride's perspective, let's just say you won't be disappointed! And yes, you should definitely book the bridal suite.

We got married here in the summer of 2021 in the new venue and we could not have imagined a better wedding day. Shepherd’s Hollow was the first and only venue we toured and we were sold right away with how stunning the venue is, the gorgeous setting with the pine trees, and the incredible food and customizations that the wedding packages have to offer. Working with Cassie and all the other staff was also great - they really helped us make our day everything we wanted it to be. The staff even went above and beyond to switch our ceremony from indoors to outdoors as was originally planned when the weather forecast cleared up only 3 hours before the wedding started! It really couldn’t have been a more magical day and we are both so grateful to have such beautiful and fun memories to look back on.

My husband and I booked shepherds hollow for our wedding venue 2 years before our wedding date before the venue was built and when it was done, our expectations were blown out of the water! The venue is absolutely beautiful. Cassie and Kelly were wonderful to work with and extremely helpful. They were extremely organized and did whatever they could to make sure we had exactly what we wanted and needed for our special day. Our day was a dream and we still can’t believe how perfect the day turned out. It rained even and I barely noticed because of how wonderful everything was. Absolutely stunning and staff was as helpful as could be! Couldn’t write a good enough review to express how special we felt on our big day but if you are thinking about this venue for your wedding, you’ve found a special one and look no further ❤️

Absolutely stunning venue!! The staff is amazing, I had several guests comment about how courteous the wait staff were and Cassie, our liaison, was great about answering all the last minute COVID concerns and as well wedding issues. Jaime was checking to make sure to have the venue meet all our needs. Chef Bill food was fantastic.....I received over 20 texts following my daughters wedding mentioning what a wonderful place for a wedding. Actually several used magical!!! So cheers to Shepherd Hollow for building a place to celebrate at the perfect venue!!!!

The venue itself is likely the most beautiful venue you will ever see. Even though I was the one getting married there I can say that unbiasedly. The food was also fantastic and all in all, the day went smoothly for us and our guests. For what the venue was, the price seemed more reasonably priced that comparable venues which is a huge plus, and you can get discounts for offseason events! For why we cannot rate this venue five stars there were a few things that were problematic for my wife and me. The first issue we ran into was the venue not allowing us to extend the event past 1 hour beyond the normal time limit even though we had offered to pay more. One other issue we had was we had sent out the invites including a specific vegetarian meal only to have it different on the day of without a notice. Although the meal was good it would have been nice to know this ahead of time. The final and most frustrating issue was that due to the fact our hotel shuttle was running late we had run out of time to capture one on one pictures with my wife and I and chose to take pictures while the guests were served and starting eating. 3 Separate people came out and tried to bring us inside including the owner while we were trying to capture important moments with just the two of us. To say the least, this rubbed us the wrong way as we had stated to each person – please move forward with letting the guests eat, we will be as quick as we can. Most of these issues are things that could be easily resolved by the vendor and we know we were one of the first events at the new venue, so we did not expect perfection. At the end of the day this wedding was truly the best day of both our lives and if we had to do it over again, we would still love to have our wedding at Shepherds Hollow just minus the problems I described above.

We had the most beautiful wedding at Shepherd's Hollow. The venue was STUNNING and all of our guests were amazed by it. Cassie and her team did an amazing job from start to finish. The service on the night of the wedding was incredible and the food was 10/10. So thankful we chose this venue, we can't wait to see how beautiful the pictures turn out surrounded by the tall pines.

My wife and I got married here and although it was an insane time in the world (friggin 'rona) the staff at Shepherd's Hollow had a plan and a back up plan for every scenario. Kelly and Cassie were an absolute pleasure to work with and did everything in their power to make our special day perfect. Any request and detail or idea that we had they were able make happen. The owner Mike met with us multiple times and took us through the process of building the new venue which is absolutely stunning. You can tell he takes pride in his work and is in the business of making people happy. As far as the venue and event staff go, it's perfect. We had multiple guests tell us that it was not only the best wedding meal but meal in general that they've ever had! Big shout out to the Chef who also met with us during our tasting. The bartenders kept the drinks flowing and made sure that everyone was having a great time. We couldn't be happier about how everything turned out. We're also hoping they put our picture in the bridal suite because we were the first wedding in the new venue haha! Wish we could get married here again.

Our daughter's wedding was originally scheduled for June 6, but had to be rescheduled die to the Covid "stay-at-home" order. Shepherds Hollow was extremely helpful and accommodating with rescheduling, and we ended up having the wedding on August 14. Throughout the whole process, Kelly and Cassie were very prompt to answer emails and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a Covid compliant event. The wedding turned out perfect (despite a brief rain shower). The staff was right there anticipating our every need and making sure our guests were comfortable and attended to. Many of our guests remarked on the delicious food and generous portion sizes. I'm still getting compliments on the beautiful atmosphere, and quite a few guests said it was the nicest wedding they ever attended. Having the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing all outdoors made it a truly special (almost magical) evening. We feel so fortunate to have found such a beautiful venue!

My husband and I got married at Shepherds Hollow on October 12th of this year, and we could not have asked for a more PERFECT day!! Or perfect venue! It's secluded and romantic and is the perfect mix of both elegant and rustic. Our ceremony was outside in front of these gorgeous pine trees with the twinkle lights above... It felt like a fairytale. Kelly the coordinater was so easy going and extremely helpful to work with. Whenever I had a question she was quick to call or email be back. She is extremely organized and made the entire process a breeze. She is there the day of the wedding, helping to setup, and stays a few hours into the night just to make sure things are going smoothly. She is awesome. Our family and friends (even weeks later!) keep saying this was the most beautiful wedding and venue they have ever been to. The atmosphere is inviting and is the perfect size for mingling. The food was amazing as well! I would 1000% recommend this place :) Thank you Kelly and the entire team at Shepherds Hollow for making our dream wedding come true!

Shepherds Hallow was the perfect venue for our wedding! The backdrop of the pine trees and the wooded areas surrounding the clubhouse made the event seem private and intimate. Kelly was awesome to work with and made sure the day went by perfectly.
