Wont lie I was VERY NERVOUS about this venue the sales manager we signed our contract was miserable to work with as a bride, to a point where I wanted to pull our contract and not ...
give this company my money. BUT WOW I am so lucky that my mom & aunt wanted to stick it out. Working with Meredith & the staff at the conference center was nothing but an amazing memory! The team was AMAZING to work with, checked in multiple times, found me when the party ran late to gibe me options on how to make up time and was just nothing but the best to work with. The team really made our event amazing and I couldn't of been happier with the service & venue

I am rating The Farm at Pomona Fairplex. This may not give an accurate reflection on the services the Sheraton offers in their conference center or hotel. I want to make that cle...
ar that this is only regarding the outdoor venue called The Farm. It's an outdoor garden area on the grounds of the Fair, east of the racetrack. We cannot express enough how disappointing the service was at this venue. We are extremely embarrassed and owe our guests huge apologies because the venue ran out of food. They even refused to serve one of our tables full of guests food because they simply ran out. They said they did not figure enough for the amount of people that showed up. We paid per person, for 210 people all together. We only had about 160 people attend and they still were not prepared with enough food. In other words, we were ripped off. The bar ran out of wine within the first 30 minutes. We had an allowance of $2,000 worth of beer and wine for our guests. That was exceeded within less than an hour? We find that hard to believe. The food took a very very long time and they kept our guests waiting. The food was cold when served. It was family style and they only gave very small amounts of each item in serving bowls basically forcing each guest to take a tiny piece of each to allow enough for all. We paid for chicken AND beef. Our guests only received a few pieces of each forcing them to pick a small piece of only beef OR chicken. Again, we were ripped off. The champagne toast was a joke. One bottle was split between a table of 12 adults. Therefore, each person only got a few small sips of champagne even though we were charged per person. I'm incredibly saddened to hear about the awful experience from our friends and family after the wedding. Luckily I didn't know about the fiasco the night of because I was "protected" otherwise it would have ruined our night. I strongly urge you to pick a different venue because you will be taken advantage of and overcharged with a 22% automatic gratuity per person with minimal staff and not enough food or alcohol. This place is NOT worth your time. Although the grounds are beautiful! They are ripping people off. Look elsewhere otherwise you will regret it. Even the manager I had to work with was extremely uncaring and provided little to no helpful suggestions. Not sure if it's lack of experience from all aspects of this venue or what........but it does not matter. They ruined my day, my lifelong memories when I think back to my wedding. Can't help but think about so many things that went wrong and of the guests that were upset because of their carelessness.

Having our ceremony and reception at the Sheraton Fairplex was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was extremely happy with the staff and the hotel and how everything turne...
d out. The restaurant manager made sure that our rehearsal dinner was everything we expected and of course the food was muy delicioso. The ceremony was beautiful, there's a few changes I would have made looking back however it doesn't change the staff they did what they were asked to do. The reception was absolutely beautiful. Everything came together pretty much the way it was supposed to because of the collaboration between the hotel staff and my vendors. The hotel wedding coordinator Tiffany and my coordinator worked closely together. Tiffany accommodated our desires in ways that other places would not have. I felt that the Sheraton went above and beyond my expectations. My advise to any bride is; the advantage of having the ceremony and reception in one location and at a place like a hotel: its like a one stop shop. It eliminates a lot of headache of trying to piece millthings together and this is coming from bride that has been married before. My first wedding I spent a lot more money and it didn't look as half as beautiful as this wedding not to say it was less meaningful because of that. Of course you can spend a lot more at the Sheraton because they have different packages. It was just my goal to stay within 10k for my whole wedding, of course we spent a lot more but 10k is just what we spent at the Sheraton, maybe a little less. As an interior designer with my vision I had for the reception location was more important to me so that I wouldn't have to spend as much on all the decorations . The Sheraton ballroom provided that with the neutral color scheme they already had and the chandeliers really made a big impact. That was one of my biggest reasons I also chose the Sheraton . The only thing that my husband and I noticed was the dinner portion was a lot smaller then what we were presented at the taste testing nevertheless it was delicious. After the hotel had accommodated us in so many ways, and comped things like our rooms, our champagne toast I felt I had no place to complain about anything. My guest were happy and we all had fun. I was even surprised to see that at the end of the night they set the top layer of my cake aside even though I wasn't expecting that to happen or expecting to save it. We plan to invite guests over for our wedding picture viewing and video viewing and thaw out out that frozen top layer and serve with champagne. It's been several weeks since the wedding on October 11th and my husband is still raving about how everything turned out so nice. We couldn't have done it without the Sheraton staff thank you so much. Chara J.

I didnt have my wedding here, but I stayed here for three nights before and after my wedding. The staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating. They had champagne and str...
awberries when we arrived from our wedding. They also moved all of our belongings to another room for our second night, just so we didn't have to worry about it. They asked us how our wedding went and made sure we were happy with everything. We also had other family at the hotel, and they made sure to have our rooms close together for when we were getting ready the day of the wedding. I just feel like they really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

The hotel was very accommodating to our guests and passed out welcome bags to each guest. My fiance said their customer service was outstanding and everyone was very helpful.

We had our wedding reception at this hotel in March 2011. Overall, I felt that the experience was whelming (not underwhelming, not overwhelming). Food was decent, venue was nice,...
and people had a great time. But these were the downsides:
We dealt with three different 'wedding specialists' (the first left for another job, the second stopped all communication and the last was good but at that point I was a little frustrated). While I didn't expect my hand to be held, I did expect a level of organization (like calling to make sure that there was enough room in the hotel the weekend of the wedding, helping block those rooms, etc) that were, overall, not met. Dessert service was botched (I had asked for half the tables to get one kind of cake, the other half to get another kind), my cake topper and personal serving utensils were never returned, we were supposed to be asked at 9pm whether we wanted to allow guests to order premium drinks (did not happen) and I'm pretty sure the bartenders were serving people that weren't part of the wedding.
For the amount of money one drops to put on a wedding, I was expecting better service. More than a year out from the event, I'm still a bit sad that the wedding topper that I spent hours making is missing.

It was very well put together. The planner at the site was very kind and helpful. When we first went to the site, it was older, pre-rennovated. So they rennovated before our wedd...
ing, and the site looked even better. It was so nice, I felt that we didn't even need chair covers. I couldn't have pictured a better put together reception.;The food was excellent when we had our food tasting. But when they mass produced it for such a large crowd, the meats weren't as tender... It was still good, but not the same as when we first tasted it. Also, even though they rennovated the inside of the hotel, the outside doesn't look as pretty. But the inside is very nice.
