rs for onsite visits and our food tasting. Rain was in the forecast on our wedding day, but Catherine went above and beyond to work out a Plan B for our cocktail hour, which was scheduled to be outdoors. She even surprised us in our huge, luxurious bridal suite on our wedding night with a bottle of wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and a nice note. A special touch that didn’t go unnoticed. The Sheraton Hotel in Universal City is classy and the panoramic view from the Starview Ballroom is breathtaking. Our guests were impressed by the twinkling stars and crystal balls hanging from the ceiling. Setup was executed on point and exactly to my requirements, thanks to Catherine. We had a 3 course meal and chocolate fountain catered by the hotel. My husband and I were quite delighted that the flavors and temperature exceeded our experience from our initial food tasting. Guests are still raving about the Tomato Bisque Soup! We could not have imagined having our wedding reception anywhere else. It was the perfect location to host our wedding day. From the Catering Manager, to the Banquet Captain, to the servers, and bellman, our experience was nothing but positive.

rson was Taylor who was difficult to reach at times. We had a renovated suite which was on the small side. The hotel elevators were painfully slow. The food for the cocktail hour and reception was great. There were some details that were missed on wedding day. The outside ceremony was not blocked off to traffic which allowed cars to drive by when we were exchanging our vows which was disappointing. Also, the bridal party was forgotten during cocktail hour. Overall we had a great wedding. The service was average but I was expecting excellence

I kinda had my heart set on this venue, without even seeing it..after my initial enquiry, I got a timely and detailed response from Ernesto Alonzo. I was especially excited when ...
he phoned me, gave me his mobile numer, and said I can contact him anytime with questions. They also had both dates we consider, available. After that, it was downhill. I tried to set up an appointment with Ernesto, to come and see the ballroom. After 2 emails and 2 text messages, it seemed like he took 30 seconds to reply to me, without setting a time to see the venue. 2 more emails, and almost and almost a week later, and still no reply. I guess they really don't need our business. It seems like such an amazing venue, with great packages, but be prepared for a very inconsistent experience. If they are busy, you will get completely blown off. We are now looking at the Hilton next door, instead.

large mirror against the wall. Reception took place in the Starview Room (21st Floor). My wedding was in the evening and the view was just breathtaking! You'll be able to see Hollywood Hills and lights everywhere!! Negatives: Universal Studios are currently undergoing construction which causes an eyesore traveling to the hotel. Sadly, my hors d'oeuvres were not hot for cocktail hour

the wedding. My only problem was that you had to call and bug them to get a reply to an email, but after bugging them then they would be more prompt. You can't beat the views from the Star View room, and I liked that the decor wasn't beige walls and curtains. And I liked the lighting that looked like stars.

t and were so glad that we were able to book it! Everyone raved about the view and the food:) Even my hard to please family (when it comes to food) said the food was great! The catering manager Wendy Song was great to work with as well. They also gave us a comp room for two nights which was really nice. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars was that they didn't really do anything special in the room (like flowers or champagne) the night of the wedding which was just a little disappointing. But that was the only slightly amiss part of the experience! I highly recommend this venue!

anager, Stephen, is over-worked and takes his time to get back to you. His assistant, however, is very helpful. We had a Glatt kosher wedding and they have a kosher kitchen and dishes. We were able to bring in our own caterer which was great.

Our guests loved everything about our wedding, starting with the amazing bridal suite, with all of Catherine's wedding-day surprises that added more joy and excited, and the breathtaking views of the Starview Room!
