WOW! I don’t even know where to begin, we were originally supposed to be married May 9, 2020 but had to postpone because of Covid. Our new date was August 29, 2020. From day one ...

back in 2019, Nancy Rosen made sure we had everything we needed from a detailed spreadsheet of prices, food choices, set up, etc. Nancy worked with us to make our dream come true! Having to postpone our original date left us very upset and worried, but Nancy & Amanda made sure everything was ready to go for our new date. Nancy is absolutely amazing, she was always happy, energetic, positive no matter what the situation and made this experience unforgettable. Nancy answered all of my MANY emails always timely and happy to help. The Sheraton exceeded all of my expectations, and our wedding was a night we will never forget.

rocess, and made several suggestions to make sure our reception would be perfect. Nancy was onsite the afternoon before our reception and also checked in several times throughout the evening to make sure everything was as expected. 5 star service all the way--great servers, fun bartender, absolutely delicious food--really, we could not have asked for anything more. Nancy is a true gem and we are both sooooooo incredibly happy we chose the Sheraton for our reception venue!

. The location is beautiful and perfect for a May wedding, as we did not have to worry about the unpredictable weather but had the flexibility to be outside if possible for all of our guests.

Planning wasn't exactly a breeze, but that is mostly due to having about 2 months to plan the entire wedding! Nancy was wonderfully receptive and the entire staff extremely helpful...

and knowledgable. I brought a lot of our own things and had a difficult time explaining my vision to the staff. Somehow, they understood me and set up the room well beyond my expectations. It was absolutely beautiful! From checking in to the hotel to checking out, our wedding weekend was wonderful. The food was great, service, location, and views were wonderful. I highly recommend the Sheraton! :)

ly it mostly cleared up by the day of our wedding. I was glad I had some free time the day of to pop into the reception space while they were laying out tables because the staff had an incorrect version of the floor plan. Thankfully I was able to point them in the right direction for the layout. In the end, it was a great party and we had all the space we needed. The staff was quick to help with a problem or issue. I would recommend this venue to people.

We had our ceremony and reception at the va beach oceanfront Sheraton hotel in September 2012. We worked with Lindsey reed at first, who was replaced by Bernadette smith. We were g...

iven no notice of the change and in fact I had to call several times over the course of a month, speaking with different people before I was finally contacted by bernadette. It continued to be extremely difficult to get ahold of Bernadette throughout the entire planning process and there were a lot of issues at the reception. Candles and decorations that were promised to me by Bernadette never arrived. Also, the bar was switched to a cash bar without my consent or knowledge. Guests were offended because they weren't told to bring cash ad I was upset that this went on for a while without my knowledge.
