Upon arrival at Sheridan Opera House, party-goers will surely be delighted by the classic architecture. Brimming with nostalgic charm, it will make you feel like you have stepped back in time. The century-old olio curtain is a touch that harkens back to its early 1900s heritage, while the pink lighting adds to the interior's ambiance. Up to 265 people can be comfortably accommodated for drinks and dancing and 100 for seated dinner here, making it ideal for both intimate and large-scale events.
Sheridan Opera House's team will work with you to bring your dream celebration to life. You can mix and mingle at the renovated Show Bar before heading into the main section for dinner and dancing. The theater boasts a selection of state-of-the-art audiovisual amenities, including a sound system, light system, movie screen and projector. Other rental items like tables and chairs can be provided.

era House for the reception location which was one of the easiest decisions we made in all of our wedding planning. Many of our friends said it was the best wedding they have ever been to.
The ballroom area was the perfect size for dinner (80-90 guests plus room for catering tables). While that was being cleaned up we went down to the bar area for speeches and cake, and then back up to the ballroom for live music we hired separately (the acoustics were amazing). If your group likes to drink I recommend taking advantage of the upstairs bar too.
The Sheridan Opera House staff—Maggie, Josh, and Ronnie were exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process. They helped us tie everything together during planning and the day of the wedding.
All of our vendors were extremely knowledgeable and familiar with the venue too. We hired Dave Hafer with Mountain Top Catering for dinner, Patty Denny with Telluride Truffle for dessert, Wes and The Great Funktier for live music, Kaycee Joubert an amazing photographer with Real Life Photographs, and wedding coordinator Monique Johnson who brought it all together.
