to. Those of you who are married, or are looking for a photographer for your wedding, know that making the right choice can be very stressful. These photographers are going to be capturing memories that last a lifetime. I can assure you that Sherwood Triart is the company that you want to use to capture these moments. Their patients, professionalism, and quality of work is extremely commendable and in my opinion, the best around! My wife and I got married in October 2014 and Kevin, Tony, and Chris were, and still are, a pleasure to deal with. They should be recognized for their hard work and dedication in making our wedding day, and the whole process in general, as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend this company to anyone without a doubt! For those of you who say it takes a long time to get your photos and albums, all I have to say is I find that hard to believe. Remember that you are in charge of that timeline. You have to pick the pictures and the longer you take, the longer it takes. As I had previously said, I was married in October 2014 and already have all my proofs, thank you's, completed canvas, and have ordered all albums. I wish I could give them more than five stars because they are truly a company that deserves it!

OH - BTW - our wedding was 2.5 yrs ago and to this date (13 Dec 2013) we still haven't received our final wedding album despite paying all of our money up front while we were in NY! •A poor photographer who took sub-standard photos (most of my guests’ photos were more thoughtful, artistic and in focus!) •A poorly designed wedding album which we had to get reissued because the team lacked the artistic vision to do anything more than to surround boring photos with neon green and purple borders (on a wedding album!). •Mis-selling where they showed us albums and pictures on their studio walls representing the quality of the photos we would get and then instead giving just plain vanilla straight shots. If you showed our album as a sample to your potential clients no one would ever use your service. •Poor admin where notes about our preferences for the album were clearly not written down, conversations saying that we owed you money when we didn’t (yes, you mixed us up with two of your other clients on 2 separate occasions) We have had many a photographer take pictures for us over the years (from many different countries) and without a doubt, S.T. has produced the worst pictures/albums that we have ever seen. I already know that our album will not be a ‘coffee table’ centre piece because the pictures are so poor. So if you do decide to go with them make sure that you tell them that you expect an album similar to the one that they will show you and not the cheap and second tier rubbish that they will give you if you're not one of their millionaire clients! O

s and assistants that were with us on our wedding day made sure that all of our family photos and portraits went smoothly, they really made taking the photos enjoyable. The images from our wedding are absolutely amazing and the quality of the finished prints and albums are unbelievable. When our family and friends come to visit our home and get to look at the images we have hanging up or our albums we get so many compliments of how beautiful they are, it is clear that Sherwood puts great pride in the quality of work they put out. I highly recommend this studio and I am looking forward to visiting them again very soon for our maternity photo shoot.

Album layout appointments can only be scheduled on Thursdays from 2 - 6 PM or something ridiculous like that. Come on guys, those are working hours for most people, and it's not easy for your NYC customers to get there without taking a day off! While they may tell you it takes about a year to get your album, in reality it takes 2 years. And the standard deal is that you don't get your digital photos until you get your album, so think about it - you can't see or share any of your photos with friends and family until 2 years after the wedding. Does that make any sense? They say it's to protect their intellectual property, but if you had already paid for the album, what difference does it make WHEN you get your digital files? Only after endless phone calls from my husband (when I called, they didn't react at all) were we able to get our digital photos 16 months after the wedding and our final album 3 months after that. Overall, the photos were nice and the album turned out beautifully (which is what all reviewers agree on), but I don't think it's worth the 2-year headache and the money when there are so many other talented photographers out there. Sherwood has to realize that they are in the customer services business, too, and until they do, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone planning their wedding.

Brian was my photographer and I absolutely LOVED him! He called me the day before the wedding to see if I had any questions and to go through the plan one more time. I told him I was afraid the pieces of the day wouldn't come together, but he told me not to worry and explained how they would work. Brian and Keith arrived at my house the day of the wedding dressed to impress and got right to work. Everyone in the wedding party loved them. They were so easy to work with and fun! I was laughing the whole time. They made me feel so comfortable. I just got my proofs back a couple days ago and the pictures are absolutely stunning. I am so glad I decided to go with Sherwood-Triart. They are worth every penny. You will not be disappointed!

hem at our wedding. The quality of what we have received is great. Kevin is fabulous and easy to work with. Tony, one of the owners I believe, did not know how to do ANYTHING on the computer. We begged to get Kevin back when we were putting together our save the dates. The quality of our engagement shots was great. I am slightly disappointed because when we met with Tony for pre-wedding plans (he says everyone must meet with him) we found out that neither the photographers that did our engagement shots nor Kevin would be there that day. I was a bit disappointed as we were told every effort would be made to have them be there if we had liked them. They had a lot of weddings on the same day, and didn't seem to care. Their quality is good, but they are a BIG studio, so that's what you get. On our wedding day, we had Chris. After all that, I was glad that Chris was pleasant, polite, and professional. I anticipate good quality of work (but from what I have heard, not too quick of a turn around time). I would not use their videography service though as the quality seemed poor. We went with an outside videographer and are VERY pleased.

Both, my parents album and mine, came is damaged: blurry pictures, 'color-spill' etc. They never met any of the deadlines promised to us. Never any delays or my part, but plenty on theirs. I finally asked to speak with the owner. What an @$$!!!!! I explain the situation and he didnt seem to care at all! Why would he, he got my $$$, right?! He said it's all due to human error...Numerous delays, broken promises, rudeness of his staff, ruined albums...errors first time around can be associated with human error, but when it's constant --- that's just complete and total incompetence. Just to give you one example, while taking pictures of my husband and I at our wedding place, one of the photographers approached us and told us straight up that he would have never chosen this type of venue for his wedding!!! REALLY?!?! WTF???? How is this any of his business? Let me say it again, DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR! Poor quality, rude staff, pictures are just ok, nothing special, constant delays, just horrible experience overall.

is said and done, that's all you've got. So we considered all of the recommended house vendors from our hall and even a couple that were outside companies, just to be sure. Sherwood Triart was easily the most expensive, but in our initial meetings, we saw something really unique, that certain "Sherwood quality and feel" that my wife was so attracted to. So we went with them. Working with them was fairly smooth. Their sales reps are a bit cold, which was odd. Their photographers were sweet and one of the owners, Tony, made a number of appearances in our meetings - surprising for a company of Sherwood's size. We did an engagement shoot with them and ordered save-the-dates through them, which turned out very well. On the day of, Brian, our photographer and Liz, his assistant, were great. They were helpful, energetic, and seemed to be working very hard to capture our special day. That was great. We got our proofs a week or so ago and there is some good stuff in there. The only disappointment we had with them was that we went the extra mile, spent more money that we had planned to for a certain special quality, but the results we got were very cookie-cutter. Not bad, just not "special." We definitely have enough good shots for our albums (which have not been designed yet) but in general, I think that for a better price, we could've gotten the same results at some of the other places we saw.

I. Our photos are amazing, the quality is unbeatable and our photographer that day was a true sport. Knew exactly how to deal with a group that didn’t want to be stuck in front of a camera for 8 hours! They are well worth the extra money you will pay compared to other studios. In comparison to friends photos ours are superior quality and not one beat was missed! Thanks Tony and Earl and the entire team at Sherwood!

, which was a little confusing. They were very professional on the wedding day and made sure that all of our requests were fulfilled. They also were never in the way from the church to reception, which was very important to us.;I wouldn't warn about anything negative from our photographer...They were great!
