Great location, service and alterations!

A friend gave me her custom made wedding dress for my wedding! What an honor and a blessing! The only trouble was that the dress was maybe two sizes too big and was designed for a winter wedding while I’m getting married in the summertime. My wedding coordinator at Luxe Event Productions recommended Sue to me and said even though she’s an hour away (in Silverton, OR) she is totally worth the trip from Portland. And it was so TRUE!! I took the dress to Sue and told her what elements I’d like removed and I also took along some inspiration pictures of dresses/dress elements that I liked and wanted to try to incorporate into this gifted dress. Sue listened very intently and asked a few pointed questions. She asked if she could keep the inspiration pictures. (I said of course!) Over a series of 4-5 appointments Sue proceeded to transform my friend’s wedding dress into MY wedding dress. It fits perfectly and I don’t know how she did it, but all the newly added fabrics and embellishments match PERFECTLY. To me Sue is someone who is more than a skilled seamstress…she is an artist. Highly reccomend.

Sue completely redid my mother's wedding dress and took it from the 70's to 2012. It turned out BEAUTIFUL! If you need any alterations, or are thinking about using a vintage dress go check her out!

My bridal party and I needed our dresses re altered three days before my ceremony. Sue came highly recommended and RIGHTLY SO! SHE SAVED THE DAY. She accommodated the bridal party with their busy schedules and was very reasonably priced. Even with the time constraint of the wedding, which was in three days. She was able to repair what had initially been done to the dresses. Plus, fit the dresses according to each persons' body type. She also pressed and steamed the dresses.
