Shia Coleman Photography is a boutique documentary wedding studio based in Toledo, Ohio, available across the Midwest and traveling for destination weddings in Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, and anywhere the mountains are involved. We shoot intentionally, design thoughtfully, and deliver finished wall art — not a Dropbox link and a goodbye. HOW WE WORK Every wedding begins with a real conversation. Before the day, we sit down with you to plan the story — the people, the moments, the small things you'll forget if no one notices them. On the day itself, we document it the way it actually happens: the quiet before, the words spoken, the dance floor falling apart in the best way. Documentary. Unposed. Present. A few weeks after your honeymoon, you'll come back to the studio — or join us on video, if you're a destination couple — for a design session. We walk through your images together, choose the ones that defined the day, and design framed wall portraits built to hang in your first home together. And your last. WHAT'S INCLUDED - A planning consultation before the day - Documentary day-of coverage (hours vary by collection) - A private online gallery for sharing with family - An in-person or video design session - Custom-framed wall art, professionally printed and ready to install WHERE WE TRAVEL Based in Toledo, Ohio. We shoot weddings across the Midwest within a three-hour radius — Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis — at no travel charge. We also travel for destination weddings, with a particular love for Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, and elopements in the mountains.
