Jaime and her team made my girls and I look absolutely stunning for my wedding day. Jaime and Val were extremely professional and very knowledgeable. They listened to us all and delivered exactly what we all wanted. Thank you for making us all look like movie stars on my special day!

Leading up to my special day, Jaime was organized and communicative. She did a great job coordinating with me living outside of the area and only being in town the weekend of the wedding. Nicolette did a fabulous job making me feel heard and comfortable during my trial and the day of. She perfectly captured what I had in mind for my hair and makeup. She made sure my makeup was light and really enhanced my curls for my hair. My sister, friend, and I all loved having her around the morning of - she was a great addition to the day.

I am so thankful I was able to connect with Jamie when I was looking for someone to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. From the start she was super helpful and accommodating. She was easy to get in touch with, very responsive, and organized. I didn’t realize how important it was to have someone like that until the day of the wedding. There was literally zero stress over anything dealing with hair and make up thanks to Jamie and Jenna. Just as important, I LOVED my hair and makeup. Jaime was absolutely incredible from the start. She handled every single issue with ease, from me having an allergic reaction during my hair and makeup trial to me being sick on my wedding day. Jaime and Val were wonderful to work with. It was so easy to tell them what we were thinking -- they checked in and were open to adjusting things (and they suggested things) to be sure we all thought the outcome was the best. We all loved the results. This was my second marriage (so I am not YOUNG) but I looked amazing. And the day of was fun -- relaxing and like we are hanging out with friends who are helping you get ready. The quality of the make-up is outstanding. It has been such a lovely experience working with Jamie and her team. They all have been extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process. Both Jenn and Nicolette did such an amazing job! Everyone was raving about how beautiful our hair and makeup turned out. Both my hair and makeup lasted all evening, even through the hot July heat. Jenn and Nicolette were both such professionals and fun to work with. We had a 7am start at our hotel and they even arrived early! Use Shimmer For You to make your wedding day special, you will absolutely not regret it!! Jamie was absolutely amazing to work with!! She was so quick to answer any of my questions leading up to my hair/make up trial. I wanted to try out hair extensions for my wedding (which I have never worn before) and she was so great to help advise me on what to purchase for the best results. My trial blew me away and it gave me so much confidence and excitement for the look on my actual wedding day. Hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted. She made sure that I still felt like myself when choosing the look and I was so comfortable in it after the trial and on my wedding day . My wedding ceremony was at 4:30 and I was nervous that I would not have enough tine to get everyone ready at the hotel, get to the venue and have enough time for all of the photos I wanted. She was so understandable and made sure to show up at the hotel at 5:45 am to give us the most time possible without having to feel rushed. Everyone was finished with ample time to spare which included my mom and 6 bridesmaids as well as myself. She even helped my bridesman out with his hair. She spent the morning laughing with us and making everything super comfortable to the point where I felt like she was just another one of my girls hanging out. Such a great experience, would give 10 stars if I could!

Jaime was wonderful to work with for our wedding this past May! She handled hair and makeup for me, my sister and my sister-in-law-to-be, as well as hair for my stepdaughter-to-be at the Community House in Moorestown, NJ. Not only did she make us all look and feel our best on such a special day, but her sunny and always-calm presence kept us grounded as the morning grew busy around us. The trial run she suggested for me before the wedding was an extra bit of reassurance that morning as well - and reminded me that we were all in great hands. Sara and Nicolette were amazing! They took their time to perfect everyone and myself to look like queens! Sara did amazing with everyone’s make up! Not too heavy and looked natural and elegant! Myself was the perfect dramatic look for a gothic queen :) Nicolette did amazing with everyone’s hair! My hair actually held its curls up until almost the end of our wedding! Jaime is very calm and easy to talk to, which as an anxious bride, I so much appreciated! She was down one stylist on the day of my wedding, but managed to get everyone done on time. Prices for a trial and day of services are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!

*Jaime is a great person to work with. Her prices are reasonable and she works really hard at the trials with you to brainstorm exactly what you want for your big day. She has a great touch to makeup and made me feel comfortable getting my face done (I never wear makeup- literally NOTHING). She made my typical fresh face look polished without covering up my freckles or making me look like a stranger (a worry my husband had lol). She worked on myself and 6 other women for their hair while having a second stylist do makeup. She actually incorporated bits of my hairstyle into my bridesmaid’s hairstyles which really made us not only look but FEEL more connected. She truly made me turn into the Tangled/Rapunzel vision I had. *The ONLY reason I am giving them a lower score is that the 2nd makeup artist that was chosen for the team did not ask me at all what my “vision” was (not that I really had one) and had to redo several of my bridesmaids because they look completely opposite of the wedding's vibe. She was serving us smokey eyes when we were having a soft pink fairytale-themed wedding…she was understanding though and did work with us to fix it! Nicole did both my H&M though so I had NO complaints there. My bridesmaids would just not prefer Nicolette, the second choice. If smokey eyes are your thing, though, then by all means!!!

Amazing job on my makeup and my bridal party.

Jaime was an absolute pleasure to work with from my hair trial through the wedding day. I usually do not wear makeup, and she did an excellent job making me feel comfortable wearing the makeup and putting on false eyelashes. The airbrush makeup is awesome and stayed on all night despite a few tears and a cake smash from my husband. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup and each persons makeup was tailored to their preferences. Val did an amazing job with all of our hair and was able alter and touch up our hair as we desired while she was working. She was able to fix and change things for me on the fly. Jaime and Val were so pleasant and were great to converse with, as well. They finished ahead of schedule and made us all feel beautiful! I cannot thank them enough and DEFINITELY recommend them for your special day!

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Jamie and her team are!!!! This was one of the most stressful vendors to research because I wanted to make sure I looked perfect. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride ever and all my insecurities went out the window the moment my hair & makeup were completed. She's extremely organized, came right on time, and was a blast to hang out with the morning of! They were involved in the conversation and also completed 12 girls with some extra time so we can hang out and take a moment before moving to get changed! Jaime is the best around. She is so easy to work with and pays close attention to detail. She traveled to my venue without hesitation and did beautiful work for me and my friend! A last minute to decision to have Jaime do my hair as well as makeup turned out to work perfectly. She stepped up when my other hair stylist backed out. Jaime is so easy to talk to and work with. My hair was perfect for my wedding day! I couldn’t have asked for a better team! From day 1, Jamie was so responsive and very professional. She answered all my questions…and I had many lol… and eased my decision in picking Shimmer for You. During my hair trial, she listened to what I wanted and took the time to make sure I loved my look. On my wedding day, her team arrived on time and it was such a chill time. They worked with my makeup artists like they’ve known each other forever! They got all 10 of us ready with enough time to drink and take lots of pics before first look. They also stayed long enough for touch ups before we walked down the aisle. I had an updo and my hair stayed put until I made it to the hotel room… and I danced ALOT! Overall, I loved working with Jamie and I would definitely recommend Shimmer for you!

Val and Sara with Shimmer for You LLC were absolutely amazing. Both ladies arrived early and were reading exactly on time to start the day. My trial was in the summer, yet neither lady missed a beat. Every one of my ladies loved their hair and makeup. Val worked wonders with my hair. My hair didn’t budge the entire night. Val was so personable, we joked about how many bobby pins were in my hair (68 incase you were wondering!) and overall had an amazing time learning more about each other’s lives. Sara is the best makeup artist there is. She was able to talk my ladies off the edge when they were nervous about applying fake lashes and made everyone feel at ease while she worked her magic. The makeup was gorgeous. My eyes and lips popped in our wedding photos just like I requested. I will forever be recommending Shimmer for You LLC for hair and makeup. I can’t finish my review without mentioning the companies owner Jaime. Jaime was an absolute pleasure to work with as well. Jamie and her team were perfect! From communication, hair and make up trial to the day of everything was flawless. She took my vision and brought it to life. Jaime and her team were amazing to work with for day of hair and makeup for my wedding. The trial at her studio was a great way to try out a look prior to the big day and be able to tweak your vision from there. Jaime was super flexible with my changes throughout and was easy to work with in terms of changing the # of hair or makeup services as needed. On the day of, they arrived early and got each girl's hair and makeup done in such an orderly but relaxed fashion. Most importantly, we had fun! Chatting and laughing while getting ready - exactly what you need on the day of. Her services are affordable and all my girls were so happy with their look for the day!

I reached out to Jaime for my wedding and am so glad I did! From the start, she was extremely kind and professional to work with. We spoke at length on the phone (I had a lot of questions) and after we did my bridal trial for hair and make up, there were a few things I wanted to tweak for the day of and it was not a problem. Jaime was open and receptive and was even able to add in another hair and makeup artist for the day of my wedding. Although I had told Jaime what I wanted to change from my wedding day, when I saw the final results I absolutely loved it!! It was exactly what I had pictured in my head and I remember feeling like a "real" bride. I loved my hair and makeup and so many people complimented on how I looked (which I attributed to hair and makeup). I truly felt beautiful on my wedding day and I would definitely not hesitate to hire Jaime as your makeup artist. She is willing to work with any ideas you may have and is extremely professional and punctual!

Ive worked with Jaime professionally for the past 6 years. For the first time, I was the bride a few weeks ago. I stressed to her multiple times leading up to my wedding that she didn’t have to go above and beyond on my hair and makeup.
