She walked me through the timeline, helped me understand who I needed to communicate with, and made sure I knew what questions to ask so we could have a successful and stress-free wedding day. During my trial, Jaime made me feel comfortable, heard, and understood. For me, the most makeup I typically wear is mascara, so I KNEW going into the trial that I was going to struggle with seeing myself with a full face of makeup. Despite being in over eight weddings, bridal makeup was something that was always difficult for me to visualize. Knowing this was MY day added even more pressure. But Jaime was so professional, caring, and incredibly understanding. I gave her feedback about where I wanted to go a little more and where I wanted to go a little less, and she never once made me feel uncomfortable or not heard. Instead, she listened, offered guidance, and helped me build the vision I had for both my hair and makeup. On the wedding day, Jaime and her team kept us on schedule and had us ALL glowing! I genuinely never felt more beautiful. My bridal party was nothing short of SHOW-STOPPING beautiful as well. Every woman looked like the best version of herself, and somehow Jaime took a vision I struggled to even see for myself and brought it to life better than I could have imagined. And my husband’s reaction said it all… he couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.  Jaime, thank you for taking on my large bridal party, for keeping us on time, for listening to me, and for making all of us feel so beautiful and confident. From hair to makeup, you truly made us GLOW! I am beyond grateful that you were part of our wedding day!

wise, Shimmer For You was some of the best I found in South Jersey. Service wise, all the artists were punctual, friendly, and creative. We had a horrible weather day with gusts up to 20mph with misty rain (still had photos and a ceremony outside) plus I danced the night away and my hair and makeup held up perfectly. They even went the extra mile to leave behind some extra hairspray and retouch makeup. We all pretty much got the same natural looking makeup but with a variety of hairstyles and everyone was obsessed with their look! And don’t worry, if you have a breakdown about the weather after you already got your makeup done they will make sure to fix it up! Additionally, during my trial, Jaime helped me find the perfect lip combo which I continue to wear in my day-to-day as well as consulted me on my Celiac Disease ensuring every product was gluten free. I would highly recommend Shimmer For You to any bride!

She made sure my makeup was light and really enhanced my curls for my hair. My sister, friend, and I all loved having her around the morning of - she was a great addition to the day.

There was literally zero stress over anything dealing with hair and make up thanks to Jamie and Jenna. Just as important, I LOVED my hair and makeup. In past occasions I have not liked how my hair and make up turn out when I get them professionally done so I was a little nervous. But working with Jaime and Jenna was great and I loved the final look. ly. I had a fusion wedding with 2 ceremonies (Indian and Greek). In the first ceremony the priest put some red powder in my hair and it was a nightmare!! I was on the verge of cancelling the second ceremony. Jaimie took care of me and completely washed out my hair and redid it - I looked even better than the first time she did my hair in the morning! She truly had me feeling like a princess and helped with whatever I needed on my day! My transportation was a no show and Jaimie once again delivered!!!!!! She helped us get transportation for myself, the groom, and all of the bridal party of 20 on the day of my wedding to save the day!! She went above and beyond many many times! s leading up to my hair/make up trial. I wanted to try out hair extensions for my wedding (which I have never worn before) and she was so great to help advise me on what to purchase for the best results. My trial blew me away and it gave me so much confidence and excitement for the look on my actual wedding day. Hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted. She made sure that I still felt like myself when choosing the look and I was so comfortable in it after the trial and on my wedding day . My wedding ceremony was at 4:30 and I was nervous that I would not have enough tine to get everyone ready at the hotel, get to the venue and have enough time for all of the photos I wanted. She was so understandable and made sure to show up at the hotel at 5:45 am to give us the most time possible without having to feel rushed. Everyone was finished with ample time to spare which included my mom and 6 bridesmaids as well as myself. She even helped my bridesman out with his hair. She spent the morning laughing with us and making everything super comfortable to the point where I felt like she was just another one of my girls hanging out. Such a great experience, would give 10 stars if I could!

Not only did she make us all look and feel our best on such a special day, but her sunny and always-calm presence kept us grounded as the morning grew busy around us. The trial run she suggested for me before the wedding was an extra bit of reassurance that morning as well - and reminded me that we were all in great hands. The people you surround yourself with on your wedding day make such a difference, and Jaime was both a true professional - and a friend - and I'm so grateful she was part of our day. With Thanksgiving almost here it felt like a perfect time to finally share my thanks!

eat touch to makeup and made me feel comfortable getting my face done (I never wear makeup- literally NOTHING). She made my typical fresh face look polished without covering up my freckles or making me look like a stranger (a worry my husband had lol). She worked on myself and 6 other women for their hair while having a second stylist do makeup. She actually incorporated bits of my hairstyle into my bridesmaid’s hairstyles which really made us not only look but FEEL more connected. She truly made me turn into the Tangled/Rapunzel vision I had. *The ONLY reason I am giving them a lower score is that the 2nd makeup artist that was chosen for the team did not ask me at all what my “vision” was (not that I really had one) and had to redo several of my bridesmaids because they look completely opposite of the wedding's vibe. She was serving us smokey eyes when we were having a soft pink fairytale-themed wedding…she was understanding though and did work with us to fix it! Nicole did both my H&M though so I had NO complaints there. My bridesmaids would just not prefer Nicolette, the second choice. If smokey eyes are your thing, though, then by all means!!!

g the makeup and putting on false eyelashes. The airbrush makeup is awesome and stayed on all night despite a few tears and a cake smash from my husband. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup and each persons makeup was tailored to their preferences. Val did an amazing job with all of our hair and was able alter and touch up our hair as we desired while she was working. She was able to fix and change things for me on the fly. Jaime and Val were so pleasant and were great to converse with, as well. They finished ahead of schedule and made us all feel beautiful! I cannot thank them enough and DEFINITELY recommend them for your special day!
