A spark of inspiration and a local festival invitation brought everything to life, and the business continues to grow day by day as it focuses on joy, fun, and playfulness. Nicole and her team look forward to elevating the decor on your special day with original art on upcycled cedar shingles, gifts, and paper goods.
At Shinglefish, they design freehand-painted fish, sea creatures, and surfboards using wood that has been weathered for many years. They recycle these elements as they breathe new life into each piece. In 2 weeks, it went from a brainchild to physical form with the spark of inspiration, the prompt of a few Instagram admirers, and a local festival invitation. Nicole lives in Truro, on the outer hook of Cape Cod, for most of the year, and likes to travel to other inspirational locales with an abundance of sea life.
