Shining Star Photography

Sara was by far the best wedding photographer on the Cape! My wedding was in June 2013, and I still have people asking me for her name and commenting on how amazing she was. I will start by saying that when we met her, a year and a half before our wedding, we booked her the next day! We didn't even have to meet with any other photographers because we knew we wanted to work with her. Sara is extremely fun and easy to talk to. She showed up some of her work and we knew she was going to be the best! She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We did our engagement photos with her which was a blast! This was a nice way to really get to know her and how she works. She spent a few hours with us and took hundreds of pictures (we used them for our Save the Date!). Up until the day of the wedding Sara was in constant contact with me. Any questions I had, she always had an answer. She even made it a point a few weeks before the wedding to meet us at the church and venue site to check it out and talk about where we could take good pictures. She meet the wedding coordinator at our venue to go over any details she needed. This made me feel like she really cared about getting everything perfect and exactly the way I had envisioned it. The day of our wedding Sara came first thing in the morning to get pictures of us getting ready. She visited the boys rooms and got some of them as well. She rode on the trolly to and from the church and venue as we made stops along the way for pictures. Once the night started, Sara told me I wouldn't even notice she was there, which is entirely true. She asked me for a list of any special pictures I wanted her to get, and she got them all! I loved how she was able to get groups of people together, tell us where to go and what to do for the pictures. It made it easier for us and took away less time from our night! Our guests kept telling us how much they loved her and how fun it was taking pictures with her. We just got our pictures from the wedding and there are so many pictures I had no idea she even took. The night went so smoothly and she was there to get pictures of EVERYTHING!! She got every little detail and more! Sara capture every special moment and I'm so happy we had her as our photographer :) On a side note, her pricing is UNBELIEVABLE!!! She has packages that range in price, but the package we bought was the best! We got engagement photos, her for the ENTIRE wedding day, website album for guests to see all the wedding pictures, CD of all the pictures from engagement and wedding day, and an album. Just ABSOLUTELY AMAZING at what she does and great prices! -Julie and Shawn

Sara did a fantastic job photographing our outdoor wedding. She was very organized, and was able to squeeze in all our requested photos under a tight timeframe. She had great personal attention to detail, which showed in the pictures - capturing the day so beautifully. We are grateful to have such lovely pictures to keep the memory alive. I had the pleasure of working with Sara, of Shining Star Photography throughout my wedding. Sara was fantastic! She was so kind and enthusiastic, an absolute joy to work with! On the day of the wedding, she was never in the way, but always seemed to be there whenever we needed her, and was great at gently reminding us to capture certain shots I had previously mentioned I wanted to get. Sara was great with our guests, and creative in suggesting poses- we have received quite a few compliments from guests regarding her already! Our preview pictures are so gorgeous- we can't wait to see the rest!

Sara was recommended to me by a friend at work. My fiance and I met with her and knew from the minute we met her that she'd be a wonderful photographer for us. She is unique and professional. Very down to earth. The photography was one of the only parts of the entire wedding process that went smooth from start to finish. I would highly recommend Sara to anyone in need of a photographer. She has packages for all different price ranges which really helps as well.
