Can’t say enough good things about Shiny Entertainment. So easy to work with and so helpful in planning our event. Their DJ and Photo Booth services are outstanding! Family and friends had a great evening with the crew and they kept the party going, nobody was ready for it to end! We highly recommend Shiny for your event needs!

AJ was an amazing DJ. He exceeded all expectations and kept everyone dancing through the night. Even the never-dancers joined in. He picked great choices and needed no direction. We couldn’t have been more pleased. We have wonderful memories. The scheduling lady is difficult, so hang in there because the Dj is someone different.

We loved our experience with Shiny! Kristin was professional and made sure we were set up for a great experience leading up to our wedding. For the day of our wedding, Dean was AMAZING. Friendly, communicated great with us and our other vendors seamlessly. And Dean kept the party going. Great music, great at reading the room to see what was keeping heads bobbing. Photo booth was fun and guests seemed to enjoy the experience. Would definitely consider using Shiny Entertainment again for future events.

If I could leave 10 stars I would!!! We could not be happier that we chose Shiny Entertainment for our wedding day! Kristin was incredible to work with via phone and email when it came to planning and creating a timeline for the big day. DJ Dean absolutely killed it!!! He mixed songs all night, it never felt like he was just hitting next on a playlist. We received so many compliments about his music! We also booked a 360 video booth through Shiny Entertainment. It was well worth the up-charge from a standard photobooth. Caleb, the video booth attendant, was extremely friendly and great to work with. Our guests truly enjoyed it, there was a line all night! We highly recommend using Shiny Entertainment for your wedding day!! You will not regret it!!

Kristin from Shiny is a top notch coordinator and easy and flexible to work with. We ran a little close to the due date for our planning session but she made it work and we had no issues on the big day. We met DJ Chris during our cocktail hour and immediately knew we were in good hands. He dressed the part, was already playing our requests, and was very friendly and accomodating to any changes we wanted to make. DJ Chris was an amazing MC, kept to timeline, and kept the dance floor popping from the minute it opened until the last song. He played a lot of our requests and mixed in a great setlist and it was a nonstop party during our reception. Multiple people came up to me and the groom saying it was the most fun dance floor they have had at a wedding and it was all thanks to DJ Chris and Shiny!!! He also made a dream come true and let me DJ for a track which was a true highlight of my wedding day. Competitive pricing and great customer service on all ends makes Shiny a no-brainer to hire for any event!!! Thank Kristin and DJ Chris!!

To say that DJ Chris was phenomenal would be an understatement! He made our daughter’s wedding into the BEST party! The dance floor was never empty. He listened to everything my daughter asked and went above and beyond by creating fantastic videos of the night. I can’t recommend him enough!!

Our DJ on the day was fantastic! He was so responsive and checked in with us frequently to make sure we were happy with the way things were going. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that there were a couple hiccups that I think wouldn't have come up if we had gotten to speak to him before the event. Instead we spoke with a representative who paired us with a DJ. Her hours to talk were limited to 10-4 Monday through Friday, and she would not meet with us until 30 days out, so we were not able to schedule a time to speak to her together. We also had a lot of difficulties reaching her via email after the meeting. I was very nervous about it based on this alone, but luckily the DJ himself was awesome. I wish I had gotten his name because I would recommend him in a heartbeat

Kristin was a dream to work with and she sent us the BEST dj for our wedding. Andrew was professional, made sure we felt heard and got the party STARTED! He paid attention to the crowd, made excellent choices and still made sure all the songs we wanted were incorporated. He turned it UP at the reception and we would recommend him for ANY event. We can’t thank Kristin enough for making sure we had the perfect dj for our perfect day.

Shiny Entertainment was the best DJ service we could have asked for on our wedding day! From the start Kristen was attentive and organized in making sure she got all of the details and the "feel" we were looking for. She recommended tweaks and options when I felt stuck on timeline issues. Then came Dean the night of the wedding!! WOW. After our pre wedding phone call I had no doubt in my mind that our music was in good hands. He listened to every single thing we requested and made sure to come up to us and explain what was about to happen before announcing it. Each song blended so well into the next and at no point in the night was that dance floor empty. Thank you Shiny Entertainment!

Kristin and her team were responsive and professional! We had a great experience working with Shiny. They were very familiar with our wedding venue, Silver Swan Bayside, as they have played there many times in the past and come recommended by the venue. We had a call with Kristin where she laid out the schedule perfectly, followed up with all the details, and made changes when we had a few last-minute requests. Our DJ Andrew was super nice and had the crowd dancing. We really enjoyed working with Shiny Entertainment - we recommend them as a vendor for your wedding - high level of value, service, and professionalism!

We decided to hire Kristin Stock from Shiny Entertainment as our month-of wedding coordinator. Simply put, she was nothing short of sensational at making our wedding weekend vision turn into a reality. Leading up to the event, she helped with all logistics and was flexible with last minute changes. She got all of our vendors on the same page and made the master timeline that was followed throughout the day. Our wedding day, from the time we woke up to the time we turned in for the night, was everything we could have wanted and much, much more. Kristin played a huge role in this and comes with our highest possible level of recommendation.

Kristin was an amazing DJ and was very easy to talk to and fast to reply to any questions I had. She checked in with me before each event to make sure everything was in order. We danced the entire night and it was so easy and fun!

Shiny Entertainment’s DJs provide an amazing , custom made entertainment experience for each of their customers. They are professional, reliable, punctual, and dedicated to making your event the best it can be. I highly recommend them.

What can I say besides Shiny Entertainment was the perfect option for our wedding. Kristin went above and beyond. Her selection of songs were amazing. She also helped coordinate/set up our wedding at the same time, which was just incredible. We also hired Cheryl to be our wedding day coordinator to help alleviate the stress, and she did just that. Professional, knowledgeable, and fun is what you will get for your wedding when using Shiny Entertainment. If you need a good wedding DJ, and/or a wedding coordinator, this is your best option.

I am pretty disappointed in the DJ service we got. For our first dance song, the wrong song was played. For our bridal party entrances, the timing I had listed was also not executed. They also faded out the music for our bride and groom entrance so we walked in to silence which was awkward. The song for my dad played was also not the version I had listed in the packet and then it wasn’t faded out at the right time. I had a song listed in my packet to be dedicated to my mom that I never heard played. These were all details that I had talked about with Kristin and she said it was all clear so I know it was all communicated. Then there was a lot of slow music played back to back to back (maybe 5 or 6 songs) in the middle of the dance portion of the night, which made everyone scatter different ways. Luckily one of my friends stepped up and started requesting more upbeat songs to get people back on the dance floor but if not for her it probably wouldn’t have happened. The DJ also talked way too fast during announcements so no one knew what was being said. They were a nice person and set up efficiently but not right for the ambience I had talked about creating during the phone calls I had. From the other reviews, it seems like they have other DJs who are a lot better.

We were very pleased by the service provided by Shiny Entertainment and DJ Mark. Kristen was very friendly and professional, and followed up with us early because she was going to have a baby soon. The questionnaire was easy to fill out, and both Kristen and DJ Mark followed up with us to make sure they got all the right information and the correct versions of the songs we wanted. We appreciated that the company takes Zelle payments. DJ Mark and his wife worked our wedding and they were very fun. He has a very announcer/Emcee voice which was pretty funny, but definitely kept the music flowing in a seamless way. Surprisingly, he even got a lot of the older generation to come out to the dance floor to boogie!

From the very beginning Kristin was great to work with! She listened to all of our personal preferences and was very organized. She assigned DJ Dnial to our wedding and he was amazing! He completely understood what we wanted and went above and beyond! The dance floor was packed the entire night! We can't thank Shiny Entertainment enough.

Shiny Entertainment and Kristin were great! We had really crappy weather, and needed fun music to keep the guests happy and have more fun. She used a great mix to keep the crowd on their feet! Kristin was super organized, kept us on schedule, and was a great DJ! Would recommend to any of my friends!

Kristin with Shiny Entertainment has been a wonderful vendor to work with throughout our wedding planning process. We received many referrals for her DJ services and her service and understanding exceeded our expectations. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we were forced to first postpone and then cancel our wedding. Kristin was able to meet all of our changes and needs without any hesitation. She, also, was able to fully refund our security deposit. Her understanding and care throughout this process made cancelling our wedding a much easier process and we will be using her services for any events in the future. I highly recommend working with Kristin and all employees at Shiny Entertainment.

Hire them! You will not regret it. Kristin was the best DJ. Dawn was an incredible Day of Coordinator. They were the best team and complete god sends. These two women are absolute bosses. They handled everything and made sure our day went perfectly. Our bartender ran out of beer before dinner was served and before we even knew it was a problem, Dawn and Kristin had it handled. The wind was blowing our place cards and napkins off the tables all morning and Dawn ran around fixing everything before guests arrived so my bridesmaids and I could relax in the bridal suite. She made sure the ceremony went off without a hitch and kept our bridal party reeled in. They were mind readers, magicians, and miracle workers. Kristin promised me a stress-free day and she definitely delivered. Our guests have had nothing but wonderful things to say about how great Kristin and Dawn were. They were a huge part in making our day perfect and we definitely could not have done it without them!

I absolutely loved this company and would highly recommend them again if I knew someone looking for a wedding vendor DJ, I had the guy named Jamie And he was perfect for my wedding he blended in with everything perfectly he dressed very nice as I had a Formal style Dress type wedding(winter wonderland was my theme all things winter and Christmas) He was very respectful and even though I had Youngsters at my reception who would request songs that I'm sure may have had in appropriate language he either did not play them or he played things that were edited because I do not remember hearing any vulgar language the entire night which was great out of respect for the parents and grand parents of the bride and groom! Everyone in my family complimented me on the vendors I chose and that made me feel good I'm glad he showed up dressed nicely and doing such a Great job! Again I will highly recommend them in the future and anyone looking for a wedding DJ that is classy and well dressed should look into hiring shiny entertainment they are fabulous and thou response time at replying to your emails the entire time of your Wedding planning process was amazing they did not hesitate to get back to me no matter what miss Kristen was amazing with that! I highly recommend using Shiny Entertainment. Kristen was extremely helpful throughout the planning process. She quickly responded to any questions I had. They did a wonderful job with our uplighting and the beautiful pipe and drape for behind the sweetheart table. We had DJ Mike during our cocktail hour and reception. He was very entertaining and kept the party going. Our dance floor constantly had people on it. DJ Mike was very friendly and even called the day before to make sure I did not have any questions. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely use them for any events I may have in the future.

Michael "DJ Tonez" was a huge hit at the wedding. From the first conversation to the wedding party, we were blessed to work with such a professional DJ. Michael took the time to find out what our style was, what our guests would like and how much we wanted to party. He was able to keep the dance floor packed from the first song to the last and everyone was singing along the whole time. Kristin managed to hook us up with Michael right away and was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning and logistics process before Michael took over the event. We would recommend Shiny Entertainment and Michael to anyone looking to have a great time!

My daughter used Shiny Entertainment to DJ at her wedding, and we had an excellent experience with them. Throughout the planning process Shiny Entertainment was professional, prompt in their communication, and thorough. At the reception, the DJ was excellent. He was obviously very experienced and knew how to read the group. He played a wonderful mix of music and got the dance floor full. He was very cooperative with any requests we made and was upbeat and entertaining. We would highly recommend Shiny Entertainment.

I used Kristin (day of wedding coordinator) and Mike (DJ) for my wedding and I cannot reiterate how I made the best decision. They were both so personable and went above and beyond to make my day extra special. Kristin took care of everything from coordinating with all my vendors, setting up my decorations, and basically being there every step of the way. Having Kristin take care of little things, made it really easy for me to just relax on the day of wedding and have no worries of forgetting anything! Also, Kristin did a wonderful job setting up the photo booth. I definitely think the photo booth was one of the highlights of that night! In relation to our DJ experience, Mike was fabulous! He really is a real natural at adapting to the environment and playing songs that fit the crowd. In addition, he was very organized and flawlessly stuck with the correct timing and music with the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It was such an honor having Mike, he really made our wedding so much fun! I cannot say there was even one dull moment from that night. Overall, Kristin and Mike went above and beyond and I will for sure use them again for other big events. They are super reliable, kind, affordable, and will be hit of your wedding, party, etc. I highly recommend Shiny entertainment! Thanks a bunch Kristin and Mike :)

Shiny Entertainment was fantastic! Kristin was our correspondent for the paperwork, and she was very helpful in getting everything in order. On the day of, DJ Mike was very friendly, accommodating, and professional. The questionnaire was very detailed and organized for laying out what songs and genres we did and didn't want played. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone's wedding, the whole event couldn't have gone better.

We simply cannot say enough good things about Mike and Kristen from Shiny Entertainment. Man, did we have one complex wedding. Each 'first dance' (us, the mother/son, and the father/bride) were performed by our friends who are musicians, as was the processional down the aisle. We also had a live Metallica tribute band for the last hour of our reception. Shiny not only did all the DJing and MCing, but all of the sound/light set ups for our many many live performances. They spoke with each of our musicians ahead of time to make sure they were prepared for each new performance and instrument, showed up early to do sound checks, set up everything with incredible professionalism (my husband is in the Audio industry and was very impressed with their quality of work). At the last minute we decided we wanted a pianist for cocktail hour and Kristen found us an amazing performer and booked him for us. Everything sounded and looked like a real concert. Mike, the DJ and MC, was amazing. He had everyone up on the dance floor and could read the crowd and their energy really well. All in all, I would give more than 5 stars if I could. We were blown away by Shiny and all for a very reasonable price. Book them, you won't regret it.

I am so glad that I decided to go with shiny entertainment for my 30 person Sunday night wedding. You wouldn't think that a small wedding on a Sunday night would have continuously packed dance floor, but shiny entertainment was able to keep everyone dancing all night long. The music played during cocktail hour and dinner was lovely and played in such a way that you could listen to it but still hear everyone talk. Also another wonderful thing was the amazing variety of music that they played. There was something for everyone , and they were able to play some of the more unusual songs requested by my guests. My family is still talking about the fun they had dancing and how the DJ was so great at reading the crowd. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who is getting married in the future. Thank you guys so much for keeping the party going at my wedding!

Mike and Kristin are awesome! They were a pleasure to plan with as I was working up to the wedding. The day of, Mike was there on time, set up, and did all that we had asked. They say a DJ (and food) make or break a wedding..well Mike definitely made our wedding so fun!

Highly recommend this company for all of your music and lighting needs! We had Mike as our wedding day DJ and he was absolutely wonderful. A great variety of music was played including all of the requested songs from our song request list. They are very thorough and get with you ahead of time about all of the announcements, special song requests, dances, games, etc that you want throughout the night. Very easy to work with yet very professional. Choose this company!

I just had my wedding in October with Dj Q and he was awesome, kept everyone dancing all night. Several people have told me they haven't been to a wedding that fun in a long time. The overall company was great to deal with from the start.

We had Shiny Entertainment DJ our wedding reception and they did awesome! Everyone from my college friends to my 92-year-old granddad was on the dance floor at some point in the night. The DJ really knows how to read the crowd and keep them engaged. I definitely recommend them to others.

I cannot even begin to tell you how incredible our DJ was from Shiny Entertainment. He live-mixed songs, took song requests and really read the crowd well. There was people on the dance floor the entire night. Everyone uniformly agreed that our DJ MADE the reception. Beforehand, the company was very communicative; they took initiative and made sure to work closely with our vendor site as well so everything was smooth-sailing for the day of. LOVED these guys so much and I will recommend them enthusiastically to everyone I can! P.S. Budget-wise, these guys were pretty reasonable. I called a few other DJ companies who actually laughed at me when I told them our budget. These guys hit our budget and were always professional, courteous and friendly.

We loved using Shiny Entertainment for our wedding. Shiny provided up-lights and DJ services for our dinner & reception. We had DJ Q and WOW, he did an amazing job. Our reception was amazing because of the music. Most weddings we go to, the wedding DJ plays songs, DJ Q mixed songs together and created an amazing party. He was great to accommodate song requests and kept the party going the entire time. Many of our friends & family have told us we had the best wedding music that they have ever been to. We had some communication issues regarding the contract that created some craziness before the ceremony began, however Shiny refunded us a good chunk of our payment & provided extra up-lights. The issue did not effect the ceremony and we were able to still have our perfect day. I would definitely recommend Shiny Entertainment and DJ Q for someone who wants to have an amazing party and dance fest for their reception.

Shiny Entertainment DJ and lighting services were absolutely wonderful! Their suggested lighting was beautiful. Most importantly, the DJ and music was great! The DJ was very professionally dressed. He was a wonderful host and emcee during the wedding. His selection of music kept the dance floor packed. And, the volume of his music was perfect, not painfully loud. Shiny was an excellent DJ service. We had specific hard to find music that we provided and they incorporated into the mix. Mike was our DJ. He was friendly and professional. He kept the music in keeping with the mood of the crowd and was able to keep the wedding on track and on time with great MC services as well. I highly recommend Shiny Entertainment. I can not express in words how awesome our DJ was. He played everything we wanted, Even came up to me and asked if it was ok to play certain songs that people requested. Which I really appreciate with having my little nieces and nephew there. He even stayed longer then expected, My Venue was only until 10:30 at night and he stayed until almost Midnight! I'm so glad we had him. I don't think I will be getting married again, but If I do it will only be with Shiny Entertainment!!!!!
