We ended up booking drapery with Shipley 2-3 weeks before the wedding after I started feeling nervous about the hotel ballroom where the reception was being held would not feel dressed up enough. Pamela and Shipley quickly got on board with a simple vision for the space and was able to join in as a last minute vendor easily and professionally. The end product was perfect and just what we were looking for.

Our daughter’s wedding day dream would never have taken place without Shipley! Due to Covid, we were forced to change venues 6 weeks prior to our wedding date or reschedule. Through our florist’s recommendation, who had a working relationship with Shipley, we were able to schedule an on-site meeting at our new venue on the only day available for the venue the week we were in town. Our original venue was an historic mansion and we were moving to a newly constructed commercial tent with absolutely no detail at all inside. Our daughter wanted to postpone the wedding when she saw the tent but we assured her it could be transformed. Wow! You can’t imagine how Gene and his crew totally enhanced our venue space - it was like night and day!! Between the ceiling draping, the deck stage backdrop with lights and the draping on the sidewalls and reception entrances, the tent looked absolutely amazing!! And they did it under very difficult circumstances with a venue that was not very cooperative so kudos to them. Our guests could not believe how gorgeous our tent looked and the look on the bride and groom’s face when they saw the result said it all! We found Shipley to be professional, efficient and fairly priced. Working with Gene, Pamela and Tammi was an easy fit for us as they are all such nice folks. Would highly recommend their services - you will not be disappointed!

We were originally using Shipley Enterprises to drape and provide floral decor for my wedding venue. Due to the pandemic, many changes had to be made, including moving the wedding to a backyard. Not only was Shipley easy to work with regarding the change, they quickly came to the "venue" (backyard) to assess the space, got in touch with the tent company we used to ensure they had the correct dimensions of the tent, and transformed the backyard and tent into something truly spectacular. They were so easy to work with and made my day so special. I cannot thank them enough for their flexibility and ease to work with.

We needed a floor to ceiling draped wall, 13ft high and 42ft long for our wedding to split the room. Shipley's communication was excellent, and they executed exactly what I wanted with no fuss. The room looked stunning.
