Despite me taking the time to create a full Spotify playlist for the event (at his request) he largely ignored it and played his own selections. His dj setup was a speaker hooked up to his phone and the music playing from Spotify. On top of that, he played the wrong version of my bridal entrance song—one of the most important moments of the day—which was incredibly disappointing. His appearance was also surprising in the worst way. He showed up to the reception in a bright red flannel that felt extremely underdressed and out of place for a wedding. He also brought along a “translator” to help with music choices, which was confusing considering everything had already been clearly organized and provided in advance and everyone at the wedding spoke English. To make matters worse, there was an accidental message sent to me that included a photo of weed with a toddler in the background, which was completely inappropriate and concerning. He never acknowledged, nor apologized for sending this to me. Overall, this experience lacked professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for the event. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you want someone who will handle your wedding with care.

he brides entrance song too early during the ceremony, so we had to restart and missed the first look - he decided to hand out his business cards at our reception for a tattoo shop he owns, which was very unprofessional to us - the music, which was played in a single speaker from his phone during the reception, did not seem to be shuffled and many of or requested songs were not played - he was singing into the microphone during the songs at the reception, over the music Also worth noting, I would recommend having someone besides the bride/groom monitor the terms of your contract so you can enjoy yourself with no risk of expensive extensions during the event.  He did do a shoe game at the reception that we asked him to do and that went well.  The service provided would be the equivalent of buying a microphone and speaker and having a friend run Spotify and the shoe game, in our opinion.
