Rick has hundreds of loose diamonds and diamond rings. My favorite thing at Ricks office was to look at all the loose diamonds in the trays.

Beautiful, simple and large amount of choices. I found the setting I wanted, but it was on display with white gold and with a round diamond. I love the asscher cut, and found one that looked like it would be a good fit instead of the round, and we wanted it in yellow gold. The jewelers were very flexible with our request and made our jewelry to order. The stone settings remained in white gold, but the bands were yellow gold. When we went back to find my wife's ring, they were ready to assist. Thankfully we found a ring that complimented her set and all that needed to be done was resizing. They resized the set for free. They supplied us with one jar of jewelry cleaner, and we can take the rings in anytime for cleaning, and if necessary repairs.

After looking up so many different websites and reading reviews on on all the different jewelers on Yelp, Google, Yahoo, and Bing we decided to stop by Phil on a Sunday afternoon. Despite all the other shops being closed, Phil was bustling with couples and individuals looking at rings. After a 15 minute wait, we were greeted by a lady who assisted us in finding a setting. It seemed that once she realized we were serious buyers, she beckoned the help of a gentleman named Richard to further assist us in our impossible task of finding the perfect setting. We showed Richard our stone and he gave us several trays of rings to rummage through. I felt quite at ease picking up and setting aside the ones I liked and Richard did not rush us at all. He even went to different cases to show us unique and beautiful settings that you normally wouldn't come across. After much deliberation, I fell in love with a gorgeously simple yet timeless setting. They didn't have a platinum version in stock, but Richard custom ordered one for us. The price he set was very reasonable and I didn't feel like I was being haggled. A week later, my fiancé picked up the setting and had our stone set at the same time.
