Shobha officiated our wedding and we could not be happier that we found her. She is a lovely person, a kind spirit, and very open and accepting of a couple's background and wishes....
I would recommend her to anyone who is searching for a wedding officiant in NYC. She was flexible and spent over an hour on the phone with us the first time we talked, and continued to stay in touch as the date approached and everything was coming together. We loved our ceremony. She made it a very special experience for us, and I am so glad that Shobha was the person who solemnized our marriage. She is a gem.
I don't know where to start. From start to beginning she was a sweetheart and her work is more than 5 stars. She was able to meet up with my husband and I to learn more about us. A...
s soon as my husband met her he was ready to book her for our wedding. Our conversations with her helped her create an atmosphere similar to our attitudes. They way she worded our love story had our guest really involved and intrigued during the ceremony. She looked professional and beautiful also the day to the wedding.
I would like to keep Mrs. Hughes as a friend after the wedding cause she is overall a great person.
Reverend Shobha Hughes brought an element of magic to our wedding. Her service was priceless... with a very reasonable fee.
She was a pleasure to work with from start to finish...
. Very professional, engaging, and really brought a feeling of spirituality to our ceremony. A wonderful listener. It felt like a friend was officiating - exactly what I was looking for! Can't recommend her highly enough. :)
First and foremost I would like to say how warm and comfortable she made my spouse and I feel. She was the first and last officiant that we sat down with for our wedding. After we ...
met with her we didn't want to interview any other officiant to do the job. We felt comfortable. Shobha brings a strong spiritual bond from the first day you meet her. We felt as if we knew her all our lives. She is willing to listen and give feedback to make your special day a phenomenal one. The way she wrote the ceremony showed us how much she paid attention to what was important to us by including it in. She was very professional, honest, warm, encouraging and very creative. She kept the guests involved in the wedding. Many guest at my wedding spoke about how much of a great job she did. My best friend already asked me to keep in touch with her for her wedding.
Rev. Hughes was nothing short of amazing. She was able to keenly tune into exactly the type of ceremony that my husband and I dreamt of. She is extremely warm and client centered (...
you really feel like she is completely focused on your wedding and your wedding alone). Many guests let us know how moving the ceremony was. I attribute that to her beautiful words, and authentic demeanor.
I am more than pleased with Rev. Hughes, and feel so blessed to have had her marry us!!!
