incredibly friendly and easy to get along with. We worked with them for our engagement shoot and it was such a fun time! They provided clear direction and posing, and while some of it felt funny, they resulted in AMAZING photos! We wanted to include our dog and they captured absolutely adorable photos of him. On our wedding day, they arrived early and were ready to roll. My husband and I got ready separately and having both Angela and James was such a blessing. They coordinated using walkie-talkies and our first look felt amazing and was captured beautifully. They absolutely nailed family / bridal party photos; I was mind-blown by how many permutations we got through in half an hour! For our first dance we did an aerial hoop duet, and the fast movement and spin did not phase them. The photos are amazing <3. After the us-focused events of the wedding were done, they actually found additional areas at our venue to shoot that we weren’t aware of, so now we have these awesome surprise fireplace photos! They were present and observant. I didn’t have a dedicated father and daughter dance, but ended up half-talking / half-dancing with my dad while the band was playing. It was an incredibly emotional and unexpected moment of the night, and I’m so grateful that they noticed and captured it. We got the photos back a few weeks after our wedding and they’re awesome! We also ordered their photo-book. They first provided a proof of the layout for the book and it was so beautifully organized. We swapped a couple photos and received the book very shortly after. The quality is amazing. All in all, I would recommend Angela and James in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a pair of amazing photographers!

ole wedding process. Their previous albums were lovely, they had lots of great suggestions and they came recommended to us by a friend. We quickly booked them for our wedding and an engagement shoot. We had so much fun at the engagement shoot, they scoped out the area before hand and it gave us a great idea of what to expect on the wedding day. Our engagement shots were gorgeous and it only made us more excited for the wedding. Fast forward 9 months to the big day! They were very responsive to all my emails, had easy reminders and ways to pay invoices and the questionnaires were great. I appreciated making a shot list so I would guarantee that I got all the pictures I wanted. On the day of the wedding they arrived on time and we stuck to the schedule the whole day. They made taking pictures fun even though it was efficient. They listened to us while providing guidance and suggestions and made the whole day a great experience. Three days after the wedding they shared a few sneak peeks were were TO DIE FOR! We also had a special circumstance where we were losing a family member and asked for a few photos from the wedding even though the album wasn't ready yet (one week post wedding). Within 2 hours Angela and James had edited them and sent them over. It was so wonderful that we able to share them before they passed. They also returned our album just a couple of weeks after the wedding, way ahead of schedule, and the pictures truly are amazing. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Angela and James!!

grapher was. OMG!! HOW DID WE FORGET THAT!?!? My husband and I look at each other in shock. So I go back to Google, IG, The Knot, and every other place I can think of to start searching. I found these two on our florists IG page and fell in love with their IG page. Sent a HELP ME! message at about 1am and got a response from them before I woke up. literally everything from that point was seamless. We never had an in person meeting everything was over the phone or email but I felt so comfortable that I was ready to sign.
Their website is so user friendly, easy to navigate and listed all the details. There was no guess work and most importantly they were honest about everything they can do or couldn't do (honestly don't think there is anything they can't do lol). when it came to the day of the wedding they were BEFORE time. I was running around like a chicken with no head my bridesmaids were running everywhere getting ready and here comes Angela and James. Our pictures were AMAZING they captured all the crazy and all the fun. Not only were they there for the pics but they also were so helpful getting us to calm down and have fun. not to mention Angela was a HUGE help trying to bustle me back together lol.

Y A BLESSING. The best investment we made for the wedding was photography. I told my husband that was something I would not budge on and I’m glad I didn’t, Angela and James became like friends to us. I text Angela on the holidays and even when my son was born! They pay so much attention to detail that looking back at my photos they captured moments that I didn’t even realize were a part of my wedding. We knew when we signed the contract with ShootAnyAngle that we would have amazing wedding photos. Angela and James work so well as a wife and husband team that their calm demeanor and much-needed humor were sublime. They captured so many wonderful memories of our wedding day and we are eternally grateful. Our families had so many great things to say about the high quality and candidness of the photos.
Shortly before our wedding, we changed our photography package. The upgrade came with an engagement shoot but it was too close to our wedding date to schedule it. We weren’t expecting anything in lieu of the second shoot. Instead, they offered a post-wedding option! Angela worked so hard to track down a great spot for us that matched the unique criteria that we were seeking. We had a blast and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our second set of photos too!
Working with James and Angela was easier than writing this review with my new husband! They were organized, prompt, helped us stay on schedule, had an extraordinary attention to detail, creative pose suggestions, communicated the photo delivery dates clearly and then alleviated the suspense by delivering all of our spectacular photos ahead of schedule! As a pair, theyre able to cover more ground, and able to capture different angles of key events. About a month after the wedding, they delivered the photos on a personalized viewing website, nearly a thousand photos! It took us hours to see them all, and we had hundreds of favorites! Picking photos for our wedding album is going to be as hard as the whole wedding process, since there are so many amazing pictures to choose from!

NG. Not only do the photos we already received look great, Angela and James were amazing throughout the planning process, at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day went above and beyond. They both arrived and started getting right to work, Angela even brought along an emergency kit with tape for any girls who were having wardrobe issues. They were super aware of both what we wanted out of our photos but also of our timeline, and even thought of amazing photos we would not have thought to ask for.
They kept the whole night fun and lighthearted and made both of us feel amazingly comfortable, which I personally think contributes a LOT to the quality of shots one gets.

-First off they just seemed like kind people, and they were!
-We wanted more than one person and having two people requires them to be fairly in sync, they were married so we figured they were. Indeed they were—they anticipated each others moves and complemented each other well during shooting
-They had shot many weddings already at the Rengstorff house so they knew it well
-They themselves were married at the Rengstorff house! Enough said!
-We of course loved the pictures they took previously, Rengstorff and otherwise.
-They offered a photobooth, and we were trying to keep things simple. They less vendors we had to deal with the better.
We went with them and were not disappointed! Angela and James took our engagement photos and shot our wedding. Neither my wife nor I are very particular about things, so we never really knew what we wanted. They did a great job being creative and coming up with great shots on the spot. The photos came out really, well and we are very happy we went with them. If you are doing the Rengstorff house, they are a no-brainer. they delivered capturing some amazing photos of our family and friends! Angela photographed the bridal party as we dressed in the morning while James was with the groom and the groomsmen. The best part of the whole day was courtesy of Angela and James without our knowing what was being planned. When we first met, we had discussed our wedding theme which was influenced from my love of Phantom of the Opera. The production was actually on tour in San Jose where we were getting married. They had arranged, without us having anything to do with it, a backstage photo shoot on the set of the Phantom of the Opera!! Who does that?? Well they do!!! Not only did we get some absolutely stunning photos with the famous chandelier behind us, but we also got some amazing photos with the lead characters, The Phantom and Christine. It was absolutely one of the best moments of our wedding day, and my life!! They truly went way above and beyond to make our day the most amazing day of our lives. I can't say enough about how professional and attentive they were throughout the whole process. The last thing the bride and groom need to worry about is the photographers. put our needs first and foremost. Their photography is not only beautiful, but they are extremely creative, capturing unique images with simple, out-of-the-box methods. Our wedding was ‘Old Hollywood’ themed, and they were excited to collaborate and tailor their images accordingly. They took the time to research the looks we wanted to go for during our ‘Film Noir’ engagement shoot, and were incredibly accommodating and flexible when it came to the schedule during our wedding day. Although we had planned with them to have several different types of photo shoots during the wedding, the large volume of guests we had at our wedding limited our time and prevented us from being able to accomplish all of those shoots. Unlike some photographers, who might have insisted on certain shots just so they could put them on their website, Angela and James completely understood our situation and put our needs first, which was beyond helpful during a fairly stressful time. They truly understand the stressful nature of weddings, and make the bride and groom as comfortable and happy as possible. On top of this, our wedding was scheduled during a family event of James and Angela’s, and they chose to take time away from their family to be with us on our day. They are professional, highly accommodating and extremely flexible. Not only did they shoot our wedding, but the weddings of several of our friends, and we cannot recommend them enough.

m the moment we met them, we knew we wanted me to be our photographers for our big day. During the initial consultation, they really try to get to know you so they can give you what you envision for you big day. We told them we weren't really picture people and just felt so relaxed sharing what we liked and disliked. After seeing the pictures they took, however, we BECAME picture people because they turned out so amazing. They send you a questionnaire before the wedding to make sure they capture all the special moments you want. They are in constant communication prior to the wedding. We had to make some drastic changes to our wedding a few months before the wedding and they were completely accommodating and just wanted to make our lives easier. The day of the wedding, let me just tell you, they were SUPERB! It was the hottest day on record and they did not skip a beat. They were more than willing to take as many photos as we wanted and did not complain once! They tried to keep everything positive for us since they knew it was so hot. Everyone at our wedding remarked at how they seemed to be everywhere! They captured so many amazing moments. They also have photo booth services so that made it incredibly convenient for us. They posted photos a couple of days after, so fast! They got our pictures back within 30 days. Just incredible. This husband and wife team are serious relationship goals and we feel so lucky that we found them.

r June 9 wedding at the Rengstorff House in Mountain View (coincidentally, also where Angela and James were married), we were looking for a photographer that did both portrait style and more photojournalistic style photos well, and definitely found that with Angela and James. They were an absolute joy to communicate with during the process, offering advice and support from the perspective of a couple who had done it for themselves and witnessed many other celebrations. On the day of, their expertise lent a very calming presence to the pre-ceremony chaos; later in the evening, they jammed to the Backstreet Boys with us during the reception! Quick to respond to emails before and after our wedding day, they also posted plenty of preview pictures on their facebook page before the final photos were delivered, giving us a little taste of the final package to come. They sent us the photos (online in a very user-friendly photo storage site) exactly as promised, and the photos themselves are stunning. To be honest, we haven’t had any printed yet because it is incredibly difficult to narrow down our favorites! The portraits they took look so natural, they got tons of amazing detail shots that show all the little things that went into our day, and they both have a great eye for candid shots of many little moments that have helped us relive our day every time we see the photos.

I was immediately impressed with their portfolio and was pleasantly surprised by their prices. They were much more affordable than most of the other photographers we looked at, and they were one of the only ones who offer different hourly packages. Communication leading up the day was smooth and easy. James and Angela always responded promptly and answered all of our questions. The day of, they were incredibly organized, they took all of the shots we requested, and accommodated all of our requests the day of. The day after the wedding they already had a small sample of photos ready and they were absolutely beautiful. Yesterday we received the rest of the photos and we are beyond thrilled with how they turned out.
