We were so fortunate to have Angela and James photograph our wedding on October 8, 2022! We found them through our venue’s preferred vendors list and from the first chat they were ...
incredibly friendly and easy to get along with. We worked with them for our engagement shoot and it was such a fun time! They provided clear direction and posing, and while some of it felt funny, they resulted in AMAZING photos! We wanted to include our dog and they captured absolutely adorable photos of him. On our wedding day, they arrived early and were ready to roll. My husband and I got ready separately and having both Angela and James was such a blessing. They coordinated using walkie-talkies and our first look felt amazing and was captured beautifully. They absolutely nailed family / bridal party photos; I was mind-blown by how many permutations we got through in half an hour! For our first dance we did an aerial hoop duet, and the fast movement and spin did not phase them. The photos are amazing <3. After the us-focused events of the wedding were done, they actually found additional areas at our venue to shoot that we weren’t aware of, so now we have these awesome surprise fireplace photos! They were present and observant. I didn’t have a dedicated father and daughter dance, but ended up half-talking / half-dancing with my dad while the band was playing. It was an incredibly emotional and unexpected moment of the night, and I’m so grateful that they noticed and captured it. We got the photos back a few weeks after our wedding and they’re awesome! We also ordered their photo-book. They first provided a proof of the layout for the book and it was so beautifully organized. We swapped a couple photos and received the book very shortly after. The quality is amazing. All in all, I would recommend Angela and James in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a pair of amazing photographers!
I honestly can't recommend them enough! When we initially booked Angela and James, a husband and wife duo, we had a lovely conversation with them and they talked to us about the wh...
ole wedding process. Their previous albums were lovely, they had lots of great suggestions and they came recommended to us by a friend. We quickly booked them for our wedding and an engagement shoot. We had so much fun at the engagement shoot, they scoped out the area before hand and it gave us a great idea of what to expect on the wedding day. Our engagement shots were gorgeous and it only made us more excited for the wedding. Fast forward 9 months to the big day! They were very responsive to all my emails, had easy reminders and ways to pay invoices and the questionnaires were great. I appreciated making a shot list so I would guarantee that I got all the pictures I wanted. On the day of the wedding they arrived on time and we stuck to the schedule the whole day. They made taking pictures fun even though it was efficient. They listened to us while providing guidance and suggestions and made the whole day a great experience. Three days after the wedding they shared a few sneak peeks were were TO DIE FOR! We also had a special circumstance where we were losing a family member and asked for a few photos from the wedding even though the album wasn't ready yet (one week post wedding). Within 2 hours Angela and James had edited them and sent them over. It was so wonderful that we able to share them before they passed. They also returned our album just a couple of weeks after the wedding, way ahead of schedule, and the pictures truly are amazing. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Angela and James!!

we are obsessed- they listened to what we wanted and delivered the most beautiful pictures. We aren't the most comfortable in front of the camera but they put us at ease, both for the engagement shoot and day of the wedding. They captured our day perfectly, and we're so happy we will have these beautiful memories to cherish for a lifetime! Would highly recommend!
We had a last minute cancellation for our original wedding photographer and Angela and James were able to save the day! They are amazing and we’re able to make two people, who feel...

They were really amazing and very professional, would recommend for any event!!!

tiful work! I was truly so thankful they were the photographers for my wedding- they were a perfect fit for feeling relaxed and simply enjoying the moments during the shots. They captured amazing candid shots both during the ceremony and reception- I loved seeing the joy of our guests! They even offered to take shots with guests who wanted photos with us as we were greeting tables. Very happy with the poses they chose for us including incorporating oak leaves (a special meaning to me and my husband) with our ring pictures. Highly recommend this couple for both their eye for beauty and amazing shots as well as their ease and enjoyment to work with!!

ight. They went to work on their own anniversary and helped to make our special day last year even more special. We were over the moon with how kind and fun they were and how great the photos came out. Run (don't walk) to book them for your wedding because you will be in the best hands.

IScourage anyone from wedding planning during COVID (it was chaos), if you must, I highly ENcourage you to choose ShootAnyAngle for their quick communication, flexibility, and making awkward photo sessions fun and filled with laughter. We got our photos back and are thrilled with the results!
Hands down the best decision we made!!
So we planned everything had every detail done. FINALLY we can breathe. Or so we thought until the venue coordinator asked us who our photo...
grapher was. OMG!! HOW DID WE FORGET THAT!?!? My husband and I look at each other in shock. So I go back to Google, IG, The Knot, and every other place I can think of to start searching. I found these two on our florists IG page and fell in love with their IG page. Sent a HELP ME! message at about 1am and got a response from them before I woke up. literally everything from that point was seamless. We never had an in person meeting everything was over the phone or email but I felt so comfortable that I was ready to sign.
Their website is so user friendly, easy to navigate and listed all the details. There was no guess work and most importantly they were honest about everything they can do or couldn't do (honestly don't think there is anything they can't do lol). when it came to the day of the wedding they were BEFORE time. I was running around like a chicken with no head my bridesmaids were running everywhere getting ready and here comes Angela and James. Our pictures were AMAZING they captured all the crazy and all the fun. Not only were they there for the pics but they also were so helpful getting us to calm down and have fun. not to mention Angela was a HUGE help trying to bustle me back together lol.
Thank you both for your hard work. YOU TWO ARE AWESOME!! Wouldn't have changed anything about that day.
Without Angela & James my wedding would have been postponed or cancelled. Angela gave me info to help my wedding possible in the time of COVID. And let me tell you... they are TRUL...
Y A BLESSING. The best investment we made for the wedding was photography. I told my husband that was something I would not budge on and I’m glad I didn’t, Angela and James became like friends to us. I text Angela on the holidays and even when my son was born! They pay so much attention to detail that looking back at my photos they captured moments that I didn’t even realize were a part of my wedding. Their turnaround time is remarkable, all the sneak peaks made me want to see more and more and when I got the final photos I was in awe of all of them. Thank you to Angela & James for capturing the beautiful moments of our wedding!!!! Such genuine people and I’m glad that we met them and built a friendship!!!!

u hardly know they’re there while they capture candid shots of guests, wedding party and reception. This couple is so in tune with each other they speak a silent language as to which shots to get and from where. The communication from before the wedding all the way to delivery of pictures was more than great. The pictures came out absolutely gorgeous!!!!

I would highly recommended them to shoot any of my future family events.
James and Angela at ShootAnyAngle Photography are outstanding! We were impressed with them from start to finish. They answered all of our initial questions (there were a lot of the...
m!) and not only thought of everything, they went above and beyond our expectations.
We knew when we signed the contract with ShootAnyAngle that we would have amazing wedding photos. Angela and James work so well as a wife and husband team that their calm demeanor and much-needed humor were sublime. They captured so many wonderful memories of our wedding day and we are eternally grateful. Our families had so many great things to say about the high quality and candidness of the photos.
Shortly before our wedding, we changed our photography package. The upgrade came with an engagement shoot but it was too close to our wedding date to schedule it. We weren’t expecting anything in lieu of the second shoot. Instead, they offered a post-wedding option! Angela worked so hard to track down a great spot for us that matched the unique criteria that we were seeking. We had a blast and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our second set of photos too!
Working with James and Angela was easier than writing this review with my new husband! They were organized, prompt, helped us stay on schedule, had an extraordinary attention to detail, creative pose suggestions, communicated the photo delivery dates clearly and then alleviated the suspense by delivering all of our spectacular photos ahead of schedule! If you have read this far, it should be obvious how awesome we think they are; so, we will spare you anymore superlatives.
Thank you, ShootAnyAngle Photography! :)

Angela and James are such an amazing team, and they helped immensely in making our wedding day as perfect as it was! They were attentive, active, and very personable (funny too!) ...
As a pair, theyre able to cover more ground, and able to capture different angles of key events. About a month after the wedding, they delivered the photos on a personalized viewing website, nearly a thousand photos! It took us hours to see them all, and we had hundreds of favorites! Picking photos for our wedding album is going to be as hard as the whole wedding process, since there are so many amazing pictures to choose from!
Thank you so much to Angela and James for their hard work, keen artistic eye, work ethic, personability, and making wedding photography such a great experience! Can wholeheartedly recommend!

NG. Not only do the photos we already received look great, Angela and James were amazing throughout the planning process, at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day went above and beyond. They both arrived and started getting right to work, Angela even brought along an emergency kit with tape for any girls who were having wardrobe issues. They were super aware of both what we wanted out of our photos but also of our timeline, and even thought of amazing photos we would not have thought to ask for.
They kept the whole night fun and lighthearted and made both of us feel amazingly comfortable, which I personally think contributes a LOT to the quality of shots one gets.
I would STRONGLY recommend them to anyone looking for photographers for any occasion.

My wife and I got married in August of 2018 at the Rengstorff House in Mountain View. We started the process of looking for a photographer and came upon ShootAnyAngle. We spoke wit...
h Angela and James on the phone and pretty much immediately knew they were the ones. For a couple reasons:
-First off they just seemed like kind people, and they were!
-We wanted more than one person and having two people requires them to be fairly in sync, they were married so we figured they were. Indeed they were—they anticipated each others moves and complemented each other well during shooting
-They had shot many weddings already at the Rengstorff house so they knew it well
-They themselves were married at the Rengstorff house! Enough said!
-We of course loved the pictures they took previously, Rengstorff and otherwise.
-They offered a photobooth, and we were trying to keep things simple. They less vendors we had to deal with the better.
We went with them and were not disappointed! Angela and James took our engagement photos and shot our wedding. Neither my wife nor I are very particular about things, so we never really knew what we wanted. They did a great job being creative and coming up with great shots on the spot. The photos came out really, well and we are very happy we went with them. If you are doing the Rengstorff house, they are a no-brainer. And likely anywhere else—they were professional, skilled and were a pleasure to work with.
Angela and James were amazing and so professional. The quality of their work was outstanding. A few weeks prior to the wedding, I received a survey were I was able to list the kind...
of pictures I wanted and also the people who I wanted pictures with. This made everything flow seamlessly. Angela and James took the time to capture all the little details. I’m forever thankful that I found them and chose them to be part of my wedding.

hrilled with how the photos turned out! On our wedding day, they arrived to the hotel early, helped out as everyone was getting ready, got to the venue to set up their photo booth (a huge hit with our guests) and still managed to get a ton of pre-wedding photos in. During cocktail hour and the reception, they were everywhere- capturing all the photos we had requested and soo many more. We were excited to get the email with link to our online album back and relive our special day through their lens. Their photos are great, but the team is even better. We highly recommend Angela & James to anyone looking for a photographer.

ow and be able to meet the people who will be there from day one until your final prints are ready. No company, or unknown with them. They are a great team and are so down to earth. Angela was amazing on my wedding day, going above and beyond to make sure I looked and felt my best. James was awesome and fit right in with the guys and got along with our puppy Tatertot who was also in the wedding. Their work speaks for itself as seen in their portfolio, I can’t wait for our next big event in future years so that we can work together again.
Angela and James are an amazing husband and wife team. They listened to our needs of how we wanted our wedding photographed. I wanted more candid photos of the wedding party, and...
they delivered capturing some amazing photos of our family and friends! Angela photographed the bridal party as we dressed in the morning while James was with the groom and the groomsmen. The best part of the whole day was courtesy of Angela and James without our knowing what was being planned. When we first met, we had discussed our wedding theme which was influenced from my love of Phantom of the Opera. The production was actually on tour in San Jose where we were getting married. They had arranged, without us having anything to do with it, a backstage photo shoot on the set of the Phantom of the Opera!! Who does that?? Well they do!!! Not only did we get some absolutely stunning photos with the famous chandelier behind us, but we also got some amazing photos with the lead characters, The Phantom and Christine. It was absolutely one of the best moments of our wedding day, and my life!! They truly went way above and beyond to make our day the most amazing day of our lives. I can't say enough about how professional and attentive they were throughout the whole process. The last thing the bride and groom need to worry about is the photographers. With Angela and James, you will be worry free!!
They were the best,I feel they go above and beyond to make the special day very memorable, the photos are amazing

hoot but also on our big day. They were very efficient, organized, and very on top of every detail leading up to our wedding day which made our jobs so much easier Their positive energy all day long made pictures much more fun and run smoothly. We also did the Photo Booth in our package and our guests loved it and it was nice not to worry about another outside vendor for that. We still receive so many compliments about how beautiful our photos are and we definitely agree! Thanks for the beautiful memories Angela and James :)
James and Angela are an amazing team, a talented couple, and incredibly kind folks. From the start of the engagement shoot to when we received final photographs, they made sure to ...
put our needs first and foremost. Their photography is not only beautiful, but they are extremely creative, capturing unique images with simple, out-of-the-box methods. Our wedding was ‘Old Hollywood’ themed, and they were excited to collaborate and tailor their images accordingly. They took the time to research the looks we wanted to go for during our ‘Film Noir’ engagement shoot, and were incredibly accommodating and flexible when it came to the schedule during our wedding day. Although we had planned with them to have several different types of photo shoots during the wedding, the large volume of guests we had at our wedding limited our time and prevented us from being able to accomplish all of those shoots. Unlike some photographers, who might have insisted on certain shots just so they could put them on their website, Angela and James completely understood our situation and put our needs first, which was beyond helpful during a fairly stressful time. They truly understand the stressful nature of weddings, and make the bride and groom as comfortable and happy as possible. On top of this, our wedding was scheduled during a family event of James and Angela’s, and they chose to take time away from their family to be with us on our day. They are professional, highly accommodating and extremely flexible. Not only did they shoot our wedding, but the weddings of several of our friends, and we cannot recommend them enough.

with their work. After only seeing the preview of our wedding photos, I am confident the rest will be stellar! They stayed in touch with us, made sure we were on track, have a very comprehensive sheet to get to know you and what you're looking for on your wedding day, go off your Pinterest page and get the shots that matter. I'd happily recommend this couple for anyone who is looking for personable, professional, teamwork-oriented, silly, friendly and artistic photographers. They really do shoot ANY ANGLE, and have the energy to stay smiling your whole event! Book them quick though! They're very popular :)

m the moment we met them, we knew we wanted me to be our photographers for our big day. During the initial consultation, they really try to get to know you so they can give you what you envision for you big day. We told them we weren't really picture people and just felt so relaxed sharing what we liked and disliked. After seeing the pictures they took, however, we BECAME picture people because they turned out so amazing. They send you a questionnaire before the wedding to make sure they capture all the special moments you want. They are in constant communication prior to the wedding. We had to make some drastic changes to our wedding a few months before the wedding and they were completely accommodating and just wanted to make our lives easier. The day of the wedding, let me just tell you, they were SUPERB! It was the hottest day on record and they did not skip a beat. They were more than willing to take as many photos as we wanted and did not complain once! They tried to keep everything positive for us since they knew it was so hot. Everyone at our wedding remarked at how they seemed to be everywhere! They captured so many amazing moments. They also have photo booth services so that made it incredibly convenient for us. They posted photos a couple of days after, so fast! They got our pictures back within 30 days. Just incredible. This husband and wife team are serious relationship goals and we feel so lucky that we found them.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further.
James and Angela are exceptional photographers and exceptional people. My wife Caitlin and I got married at Sanborn...
County Park in Saratoga, CA underneath towering redwood trees and a beautiful natural landscape around us. James and Angela were able to capture the beauty of our wedding's surroundings in perfect clarity alongside the beauty of the ceremony.
Right away, Angela and James were well equipped professionals who were organized and friendly. From Angela pinning on the groomsmen boutineers, to James framing perfect shots, we were impressed by their professionalism from start to finish.
After hours of photography, James and Angela also were kind enough to extend their time shooting our wedding to capture the garter toss and bouquet toss. Due to several delays in our timeline, they opted to stay after our agreed upon time on their own volition to make sure these moments were captured for us.
We have nothing but good things to say about this husband and wife duo. James and Angela made our special day memorable and we cannot wait to frame their pictures in our house!

r June 9 wedding at the Rengstorff House in Mountain View (coincidentally, also where Angela and James were married), we were looking for a photographer that did both portrait style and more photojournalistic style photos well, and definitely found that with Angela and James. They were an absolute joy to communicate with during the process, offering advice and support from the perspective of a couple who had done it for themselves and witnessed many other celebrations. On the day of, their expertise lent a very calming presence to the pre-ceremony chaos; later in the evening, they jammed to the Backstreet Boys with us during the reception! Quick to respond to emails before and after our wedding day, they also posted plenty of preview pictures on their facebook page before the final photos were delivered, giving us a little taste of the final package to come. They sent us the photos (online in a very user-friendly photo storage site) exactly as promised, and the photos themselves are stunning. To be honest, we haven’t had any printed yet because it is incredibly difficult to narrow down our favorites! The portraits they took look so natural, they got tons of amazing detail shots that show all the little things that went into our day, and they both have a great eye for candid shots of many little moments that have helped us relive our day every time we see the photos.
To any couple planning a wedding in the Bay Area that is looking for a pair of awesome photographers that are a great value, I 100% recommend these two. They rock!

e were having a difficult time finding photographers we could afford. After a lot of research I came across ShootAnyAngle. I was immediately impressed with their portfolio and was pleasantly surprised by their prices. They were much more affordable than most of the other photographers we looked at, and they were one of the only ones who offer different hourly packages. Communication leading up the day was smooth and easy. James and Angela always responded promptly and answered all of our questions. The day of, they were incredibly organized, they took all of the shots we requested, and accommodated all of our requests the day of. The day after the wedding they already had a small sample of photos ready and they were absolutely beautiful. Yesterday we received the rest of the photos and we are beyond thrilled with how they turned out. Everyone says that your photographer is one of the most important decisions you make regarding your wedding, and I can safely say you will not be disappointed if you hire James and Angela. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
