Also, the flower girl and ring bearer were very young and uncooperative during pictures, but she handled it with no problem and had a positive attitude throughout it all! She posted the sneak peek of our wedding photos within 3 days and I can't wait to see the rest! Thank you so much Cindi!!! You were a pleasure to work with!

r love for photography made every moment with her a fun time. Cindi is very good at telling us what poses and positions we should be in. The engagement shoot was great practice for the big day! On the day of the wedding Cindi and her assistant we're there right on time and she captured every part of getting ready through the send off. I was so gracious to get a personalized photo book and flash drives with all of our photo files. Cindi didn't let any little detail get past her! I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Cindi!!!

urney of the day Cindi and her team were not only very professional but they were very caring and personal. They made sure at all times of the day myself and my wife were taken care of from drinks to snacks (I'm diabetic) to make shift seemtresses with some last minute mishaps never once letting my bride know (so she wasn't stressed). Cindi really cares about her clients and this was very evident the entire day. And despite my vest issue/heart attack lol... asking about my sugar just made me stop and go Wow!!!... they're not just photographers but they care about their clients. They know how to have fun with their clients as well. Their clients truly become family!! We had a wonderful time and I would recommend these two lovely ladies anytime. and was unable to met her there because she was sick. When I scheduled a time to meet her we instantly connected and felt like she had known me forever! Before our engagements she called me to put me at ease about the session and we spent a long time discussing what I wanted to happen and my vision. The engagement session went super smooth. My fiance left the session saying that it was "actually fun". Which says a lot because he was dreading taking pictures. My bridal session was even more amazing. She made me feel so good and comfortable. Again, she called me before hand to discuss what I wanted in the session. Wedding day she and Robert were the best! I can't imagine having anyone else. Half the time I didn't even notice they were there. They got every little detail that I asked for and more. My guests at the wedding were commenting about how awesome they were. You have to look no further for a photographer!! She is by far the best. She is high energy, fun, detailed, makes sessions fun even for the guys, quick to get pictured back to you, and her work is outstanding. My dad even made the statement that Cindi is the best vendor we had through out the wedding process and I couldn't agree more. I feel like Cindi is part of the family and I will go to Cindi for any photo needs from here on out!

ith Engagement pictures. She has such a great eye and was able to recreate my picture of my parents that I had found. It meant so much to me to be able to present that to them at our rehearsal. Despite less than perfect weather conditions on engagement shoot day, you would never know it has just rained by the pictures. PERFECT! Instead of a bridal shoot, I opted for a boudoir session. Let me tell you, we had SO much fun and I have never felt more gorgeous in my life. I cannot thank Cindi enough for that boost! And my husband definitely loved it! By wedding day, Cindi was a part of the family! so was so accommodating to our hectic schedule, and even showed up a little early to get some still shots while we were all still getting our hair done. She got all of the shots that I requested and many others that were amazing that I never would have thought of! She had all of the pictures ready so much quicker than expected! Everytime I got proofs, I couldn't stop looking at them and reliving the moments. Having Cindi as or photographer was one of the best decisions I made while wedding planning! I cant wait to use her again!!!!!

en communication because my husband and I live in Oklahoma City and we got married in McKinney, TX. So since in person meetings weren't the best option for us, Cindi made herself available at all times via Skype, phone calls, and text messages. (Although I'm positive she'd do that for anyone local too) Cindi takes the time to have multiple meetings before each photography event to confirm all details, the timeline, and confirm everything that I wanted captured. I made Pinterest boards that had shots that I wanted to duplicate, and Cindi got me those shots and expanded even further on those ideas to get more beautiful photographs. Brides, I cannot stress enough how important your photographer is during your wedding process. Cindi and her team (she had two assistants at my wedding) knew how to command a room, the formats after the ceremony were a piece of cake and my family was so grateful that it went so smoothly. Cindi is smart, talented, nice, TALENTED, organized, and reliable- this is your photographer!

She was super creative, great energy and very professional. Cindi truly took the time to get to know us on a personal level and wanted to make sure she captured our personality. She had amazing venue ideas and drove super far because she said the lighting of this particular venue was awesome, and of course she was spot on. My Bridals were just perfection. She truly goes to all lengths to capture beautiful work. Work that makes your jaw drop. Cindi put in a lot of preparation and organization leading up to our wedding day. She created a timeline in which we both modified to make sure it worked well for all parties involved. This made what should have been a super hectic situation very organized and painless. I have a super large family with many dynamics and she still tackled it like a champ. We just got the sneak peaks from the wedding and I literally cried when seeing them. SOOOO BEAUTIFUL. Anyone who has seen them could not agree more. I can not express enough how talented she is. I will be forever grateful for her time and commitment to giving us such beautiful moments that we will cherish forever. I feel after working with her we have a very special bond and I will refer her to anyone who is looking for a photographer unlike any other!!! and I am so glad I chose her! I would give her 5 million stars if I could. Cindi is organized and insanely easy to deal with. Before the wedding she was prompt in all our correspondence, and always available to answer questions. We met before the wedding to get everything organized and discuss what I wanted, and it was so worth it. The week before my wedding the weather said it was supposed to rain (we were having the ceremony outside) and Cindi called me promptly to discuss options and how this would change the day of (which not even the owner of the venue bothered doing). The day of my wedding, Cindi was there promptly, and ready to get to work. She had everything and all our pictures scheduled out and kept us not just on schedule, but ahead of schedule. She had an answer for everything. Her assistant, Robert, was just delightful. He was very attentive to details, and fantastic with my husband (who grows quickly tired of pictures) and all the children in the wedding. He even had the little boys "helping him" to keep them occupied. Cindi obviously had done her research looking into what I liked and wanted, and even had printed out all the pictures from my Pinterest board so she could recall and remember what photos I wanted to take. The only even close to minor emergency we faced on the day of was that I forgot my garters, and Cindi sent one of my friends in her own car to go buy some. Even with the rain and having to move inside, our pictures were AMAZING. My guests and my parents could not stop raving about how organized Cindi and Robert were, and how my wedding was the smoothest wedding they had been to because of them. I can not WAIT to see all my images. Cindi, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for making my day so easy, stress free, and FUN!

an issue with save the daves we ordered outside from her, she emailed me a proof and had them shipped to me the next day! I called her the day before the wedding to tell her a bridesmaid would be in a wheelchair and she immidiately started planning to make sure our wedding party photos were perfect! She had a way of rounding up and organizing our large families and was great at making even the little kids pay attention and smile. She even calmed me down throughout the day when I got stressed out. My bridal party and our parents have constantly commented on how wonderful Cindi is and how great she is at her job! The photographer is the person you spend the majority of your wedding day with and I cannot say enough great things about having Cindi as that person! Can't wait to see all of our pictures!

I loved all of the pictures that I saw on her facebook and website, but honestly the biggest thing I was looking for in a photographer was someone that I could trust to get the pictures that I wanted and have everything under control so that I wouldn't worry about anything on the big day. Cindi totally delivered in this department. We went over everything ahead of time from the timeline of the day , to the different shots I wanted with my husband, bridal party, and our families. On our wedding day, Cindi was awesome. We had so much fun taking our pictures and I didn't have to worry at all about missing out on anything. Cindi was also extremely fun to work with starting from our engagement pictures. We had so much fun and got some amazing shots. She also can use the engagement pictures to make a fun, interactive guest book for your guests to answer questions about you as a couple instead of just signing their names. I loved having this fun book. I could keep writing forever there are so many good things to say about Cindi. She was so easy and fun to work with. She made many parts of our wedding planning process fun and easy and I loved having her there on the big day capturing all off our memories and taking a lot of stress off of me! Highly recommend her to any bride!

Even before the wedding, Cindi had so many good ideas throughout the planning process, and she seemed to truly care about me and my groom. She is very knowledgeable about weddings and her craft, and I highly recommend her!!

studio. After talking for a few hours I knew she would be perfect and I was done looking for a wedding photographer. The package I choose included an engagement session. I was a little worried because my husband does not like taking pictures; I told Cindi and she told me not to worry. And she was right!! She got him to do really well and he enjoyed the session! She found the perfect field of bluebonnet and tall grass exactly what I was going for. We decided to also include our 2 dogs for this session and she was great at getting their attention and got the perfect pictures. Cindi made a guestbook out of the engagment pictures that turned out better than I ever imagined!! I got so many compliments on it!! By the time my wedding day came I felt like I had known Cindi for years (much better than a stranger following you around all day taking pictures of you). We met several times at her studio to go over all the details of the wedding, our families, and what kind of pictures you want. She has soooo many great ideas!! Cindi made me a timeline of the day so I knew what to expect and it helped me so much because I am the type of person that needs a schedule. g such a friendly, super sweet lady and putting up with all my crazy wedding drama and bridezilla expectations.... poor Cindi!! But Cindi handled it all with no complaints, ill feelings or mean words - only kindness and genuine love for her work, and her customers. I couldn't explain how I wanted some pictures too look - and I kept trying to tell her in ways that just confused everyone.... myself included... but Cindi took me back to her office and went through a ton of different picture styles to find the perfect one.... now that is someone who cares. She really is a perfectionist - which is amazing because then when bridals, and wedding day pictures come around you never have to worry if she will capture that special moment - because she will. She is extremely organized, and will do above and beyond. I can't imagine anyone else doing my pictures. I always said man Cindi your pictures are always so different - each and every person have different designs/poses/props etc. and she replied - that's because every person who I shoot is different, and unique - I will never be that cookie cutter photographer.... and that goes to show you how truly creative and amazing she really is. Oh, and also - when I had to do my engagements - the place I was planning on going too ended up not working out and before I could even muster up the chance to cry.... she had already sent, called and talked to different venues for me to help me pick another. I couldn't believe it. And we ended up at a historic courthouse that I didn't even know existed - and got some one of a kind pictures. I can't say enough and can't thank her enough for documenting our special day. Totally worth your time, and money - trust me you will not regret it. Thank you Cindi!!!!! g. You'll have these pictures for the rest of your life...eek! Then my reception hall had a Bridal Show and she was there. It was meant to be, after meeting her there we setup an appointment but secretly I really liked her. I brought my mother (who is stubborn) and we literally set there talking for 2 hours, BY CHOICE!! Cindi is everything you want in a photographer, she made a very difficult decision simple. Please take my advice and save yourself the headache and the stress, she is worth every penny and more!! I'll explain: I selected the wedding package that included engagements, bridals, boudoirs and the wedding. In speaking with Cindi, she'll ask you what kind of theme you have in your mind. She'll ask about your family and things that are special to you and your fiance. She knows how to take ordinary wedding pictures and make them unique to each individual couple. My husband can be difficult and has a VERY short attention span. We did our engagements first and he wanted our 1 yr old puppy to join in...as a fur-mommy I was cringing inside, but this was important to him. Cindi and her husband John really made this outdoor session perfect and we have the pictures to prove it. Cindi will tell you what to hold and what to move, chin up or chin down, arm forward or back, hold her don't strangle her! She will also pick up on sweet candid photos, the little things that make you a couple. You'll think in your head or whisper it to your fiance that this can't look right, then she'll stop and show you what she's capturing...then you immediately stop questioning her artistic ability. Instantly, I'm serious!! It's the whole "a picture speaks a thousand words" feeling, then you get this confidence and move your arm where-ever she says :) Then I did the boudoir session as a surprise gift to my fiance on our wedding day! I had no idea what to do, but she sets up the location and it's awesome (plus free of charge). So...umm, I've never done this before and she made me feel completely at ease. Basically, I told her to make me look gorgeous and she did. She will tell you how to start to get more comfortable with this weird situation. Then by the end of the session you are this sexy tigress/lingerie model that is also getting married!! Don't wait until your 1st (Paper) Anniversary, he'll love it because it's you! Next come bridals, which I changed the location probably about 7 times. I know, but when you are trying to pay for a wedding spending money on a location to take pictures sounds silly. Cindi really helped me out with this decision and battled the rainy month of May. After sending me all the info, I went with the Hickory Street Annex in Dallas and it was worth it. The wedding was crazy, probably everything that could've gone wrong did! UGH...not my photographer though!!! Cindi, Carrie and John were the one thing that I could count on. She helped me organize the schedule of the day and when that went hell the day of, she helped me keep calm and reschedule. Our neighbors actually booked Cindi from hearing all the good things we said about her. If you can take one thing from my review, please understand that I have a photographer for life. I will always use Shooting Starr Photography, she proved her worth!

While shooting our engagment photos, I decided I wanted my two dogs in my save the date picture. One of which was an 8 month old puppy, who was not the most cooperative. We talked to her having only a month a half prior our wedding and she was able to do everything on time and nicely, we did not worry about anything on our wedding day as she had everything under control. as thorough as Cindi is. She is probably the most organized person I've ever met (that's a big statement for me b/c prior to meeting Cindi, I gave myself that title). She was SO organized that on the Big Day, I felt like she was my second day-of coordinator. Before meeting Cindi, we had met with 3 other photographers, and spoken with several others. We were absolutely blown away by her presentation. It was by far the most put together and informative conversation we'd had to date. Her pricing was very reasonable, and on par with what she offers. And actually, after seeing how hard she works to make us happy, I feel she could easily justify raising her prices. She truly does EVERYTHING within her power to get everything that is important to you. I did a bridal boudoir session as a part of the package we purchased, and it was an incredible experience. It was definitely a little weird at first, being half dressed and attempting to be sexy...but Cindi was so great at giving direction and telling me exactly where/how to stand, where/how to place my hands, feet, where to look, etc., that about half way through I felt like a full blown model!! Her confidence in how great the pictures looked gave me confidence while taking the pictures. She was fun, upbeat, energetic, and made me feel so comfortable. And my husband couldn't be happier with the results ;) . A few weeks prior to our wedding, we got together with Cindi to start getting an idea of what pictures would need to be taken on the wedding day. I will admit, it's A LOT to do, and it seems a little overwhelming at first, but it's not Cindi's first rodeo! She walked us through every single line on her piece of paper and explained why it's important, how it's usually done, and what could be done (outside the norm) for us that would fit our situation. I cannot emphasize enough how much her detailed organization helped!!!! The wedding day ended up not really going as planned at all (outdoor ceremony + thunderstorms = sopping wet wedding party & guests, also = power going out during dinner, but we still got married and that's the point!), and if Cindi didn't have all her notes and details, I really think the day could've turned into a disaster. But b/c she knew exactly what was an absolute must, what was a preference, and what was not truly a necessity, she was able to quickly reassess, regroup, and gather people to get pictures. In addition to a rather fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants ceremony, revised locations for picture taking, and power outages, she also got to deal with my family. The simple fact that there are 4 sides to my family already makes it a challenge. The fact that my dad and stepmother had just ended a rather unpleasant divorce complicated things considerably. But Cindi didn't miss a beat. She was so on top of it & so in charge that they didn't even have time to throw each other a dirty look! She was very aware of the situation and took steps to ensure the picture taking process would not be slowed due to tensions. THAT was such an enormous weight off my shoulders!!!! All in all, I cannot say enough about Cindi's SUPERB performance!! She is truly a professional - straightforward, honest, trustworthy, punctual, and always polite. Plus, she is such a sweetheart!! We really enjoyed her!!
