However on our wedding day we felt let down by them in a multitude of ways.
The only person who had helped us plan our wedding for the entire time we were in contact with the shoreline inn, someone who had told us she would be there for us on the day of our wedding the entire time.
Told us at 5pm the day before the wedding that she wouldn't be attending due to unforeseen circumstances. The person that was left in charge we had never met before and had never talked to before.
The explanation that we were given later is that we never should've been under the impression that the first person that we had planned this with would be the main person we would be dealing with.
To clarify, this was not only told to us after the fact, but was news to us. If we would've known that, there was a possibility that the one and only person we had planned this wedding with from the venue was not there. We would have obviously wanted to speak to the person that would be.
In my opinion. That person not being there led to the ball being dropped on several things. Including the food not being served on time, the dessert, not being refilled and the groom having to ask for it to be refilled.
The person that ended up being the replacement and the day of person for us we only saw about three times and it seemed like she was hiding from us.
Once again, if we would've known that, there was a possibility that the one and only person we had talked to from the venue about our wedding was not going to be there. We would have made sure that she was not the only person that we talk to.
To top it all off. The father of the groom had non cancelable and nonrefundable room cancelled on the day of the wedding. He was the only other person who had the same last name as the groom attending the wedding and they canceled his room. It took over an hour on the phone with a manager to figure out.
Overall they seem like good people but left a bad taste in our mouths.
We wish them the best of luck and hope they communicate better with their clients in the future.

etail oriented, making planning easy! Their day of coordinator was outstanding, handling everything that popped up the day of with ease. The venue is beautiful and the views are outstanding. The food was great and everyone of our requests was met. It is an added bonus that the reception hall is next door to their hotel so no transportation for guests was needed. I could not recommend this venue enough!!

overnor put a limit on how many people could be at the event, she allowed me to transfer what I had already put down on the wedding to have them cater at our now backyard wedding. They were also able to host our rehearsal dinner with only a week's notice, and they allowed us to keep our room block, despite the change in plans. Not to mention the food here is wonderful!

we didn't have a reservation. After much trouble, they "found" our room, only it wasn't the right type! Then when my sister-in-law checked in, it turned out they gave us her room! I had a bridesmaid who had THREE rooms at check in, when she'd only booked one, etc etc. They seemed to not care about the mistakes/correct them. It was very frustrating to send my guests to such a 'nice' hotel with such poor service.
