Drove 35 minutes to take my dress here because it was a certified wedding dress cleaners. When I got there they quoted me the cost (over $450), but I'd already driven that far, so ...I just ate the cost and left it. If I had a clue it would be that much I NEVER would have gone there - especially because they asked where I bought my dress and then informed me that I'd pay a premium based on that. His exact words were "If it was a David's dress it would be a bit less, but it's not." He then said something about how I paid more for it, so I should understand paying more to preserve it.
I had it cleaned and preserved, so I really don't have any idea of how clean it is (because it's boxed), but the box they use does at least have a clear panel, with some of my gown showing, so I know it's in there. They appear very reputable, so I have no reason to suspect it wasn't the best of service. I was simply unpleasantly surprising by the pricing, given that other cleaners would do the same for about $200 less.
