Hiring Rob & Rosana as our wedding photographers was the absolute best decision we made during our wedding planning process. They are not only professional - they are kind, caring, and just so incredibly personable. Due to Covid, our wedding was split into two parts (ceremony in 2020, reception in 2021). Rob and Rosana made it to our ceremony and had our photos & video back to us within days! Their work was absolutely stunning! This past weekend, Rosana & Rob captured our reception beyond our expectations. Not only did they make sure to take all of the photos/video we asked for; Rosana also took the time to take photos for our guests with the instax camera we had set up for our “photo booth.” We didn’t even have to ask her to do this, she just genuinely cared enough to go out of her way to make sure this was a successful part of our event! I couldn’t imagine any other photographer going out of their way to do something like this! While we had other vendors who happily moved on from us once they were paid - Rob and Rosana have truly gone from photographers to friends, and I could not recommend them more!

We were very impressed with Rob and Rosana’s high quality, professional live-stream video and photography for our wedding! They were also very friendly, kind and supportive throughout the day-from the preparations through to the reception. Rosana has a great eye for capturing the most touching moments and we really liked that Rob combined live-edits from two cameras to produce a seamless live-stream video. We were very pleased with how well the vimeo link worked and how easily and effortlessly our on-line guests could access it. This easy, ‘one click’ access, without needing any special software, aps, logins or accounts set up in advance was exactly what we were looking for. Our guests even commented on how high quality the video was. Rob and Rosana were exceptional to work with, always very responsive and taking the time to answer all of our questions and work through any complications. Rob walked us through everything and set up a demo live-stream as well as the actual site link in advance so we could share it with our guests weeks before the wedding. We are exceptionally pleased with the result and highly recommend their photography, video and live-streaming services.

Rob was great to work with. He was quick to respond to emails and easy to work with. We hired Rob for our wedding early 2020. He was fantastic with shooting the footage we wanted as well as the editing process. I am glad that we used Rob for our wedding!

Just jumping right to it - 10/10 would recommend Shotwell Productions for ANY event in which you want lasting memories captured! Professionally, our team - Rob & Rosie - were on point. From the first meeting to learn more about them, to them collecting info to learn more about us, to the BIG DAY, and final products - they were thorough and detailed. Personally, our team - still Rob & Rosie - are awesome human beings. Though we may be considered clients to them, they are highly regarded as friends to us. This made them being part of our big day so much more comfortable and easy. Rosie's photos beautifully captured ALL of the details. And Rob's video....literally one family member's response was, "OSCAR WORHTY!" Seriously, the video is incredible. Guys...ASK FOR THE DRONE! I don't know if Rob is going to be annoyed with me for saying that, but he brought a drone to our outdoor wedding and that footage is SO.FRIGGIN.COOL. Anyway, if you can't tell, my husband and I are huge fans of the Shotwells and we will definitely be hanging with them in the future and hiring them to capture all of our family's special moments. THE BEST!!!!!! Photography and videography were the most important parts of my wedding. I am a photographer myself and I was worried about finding someone (that would meet up to my standards, hopefully be flexible about certain things I preferred, etc.) and Shotwell Productions EXCEEDED them!!! SP was able to capture the most important moments and were extremely creative with everything they did. They were prompt, easy to talk to, delivered on their promises, and were just so much fun to be around. They even came to the first part of my wedding that was planned last minute (in my backyard!!). THANK YOU and we will be continuing to use them!!!

We could not be happier with our wedding video! Rob really understood what we were looking for and made us feel so comfortable about the process from start to finish, which was a very big deal to us. He is really patient and friendly and we never felt uncomfortable working with him. The video itself captured our day beautifully, and was a perfect balance of emotion and storytelling. We also received our video in record time! Can't thank him enough for creating a beautiful film we will be able to cherish for years to come!

My husband and I initially had an engagement session with Rob for photography on a day that unfortunately turned out to be fairly crappy weather, but we attempted to make our best of it. After some feedback from the shoot and realizing we also would prefer a nicer day, we worked something out to have another shoot. The second engagement shoot was with primarily Rosana, but also Rob and one of their trusted friends videoing parts. This shoot was made into part of their commercial as well, which we had fun participating in. Rob and Rosana are great, very understanding and compassionate! They're both great with receiving feedback and constructive criticism from a stressed out emotional bride LOL. Our wedding day was amazing, and Rob and Rosana captured many of those moments. Our wedding had a lot of little details that mattered a lot to my husband and I, are keeping up with those details for us let alone our venue or our vendors, I'm sure was difficult. For so many details that mattered so much to us, Rob captured all of the moments on video that we were looking for! Rob and Rosana are a great couple, and it was a great time having them experience our time leading up to the wedding with us and our wedding day! A little while after our wedding, there was a few details and quirks we wanted to adjust with our wedding video, Rob came over to my parents and we had pizza and sat through and adjusted some of the details for the video. The original video was amazing, but there were a few people we wanted added to our video that he had gotten clips of, and some sound adjustments we preferred. Rob was great with feedback and absolutely willing to sit down and go over them with me! My husband and I really appreciate the effort Rob put into making our dreams come true and capturing those moments and the FEELING in our video!

We had met Rosana for our engagement shoot in Staten Island, NY. We had a blast running around the Snug Harbor grounds with her. We received our pictures very quickly. They were absolutely stunning due to her artistry. We knew we had made the right decision for our wedding photographer after our interaction with her. Leading up to our wedding, communication was key with Rosana and Rob. They ALWAYS responded promptly and seemed to ask the right questions to make sure we were getting everything we needed for our special day. They even took the time to send us a happy holiday video from both of them. What a special touch! For our wedding day, we used Shotwell for both photography and videography. We were able to laugh so much with them, and they made us feel at ease. It felt like we were hanging out with old friends. I've been to weddings where the photographer was afraid to be in the action to take pictures, but not Rosana. She, nor Rob, did not hesitate to get into the action to take unforgettable shots. We received our pictures and videos less than a month from our wedding, although I think it helps that we got married "off-season." They were both so creative in their shots, and we enjoy looking at our pictures and videos almost every day since. I don't want to forget to mention that after we took some couple-only shots, none of my designated wedding dress bustlers were around to bustle my dress. Without hesitation, Rosana got down and bustled my dress perfectly. Even though this seems like a small gesture, it meant so much to me.

Rob did an amazing job on our wedding video. He kept in contact with us for weeks in advance, knew what we wanted and was so kind and professional. He did an incredible job!

Do yourself a favor and book Shotwell Productions for your wedding photo and video!!!! Working with Shotwell Productions for my 11/2019 wedding was absolutely incredible. Rob and Rosana are laid back, professional, and incredibly talented. From our first phone conversation I felt confident that my photos and video would come out great - but nothing could have prepared me for the beauty of my actual photos and video. The photos honestly looked like they belong in a bridal magazine, and the video makes my entire family and I cry every time we watch. Rosana and Frank worked so hard to get every single photo I wanted, including absolutely STUNNING sunset pictures. The whole team made my family and bridal party feel so at ease while taking pictures (even in 40 degree weather). Rob and Rosana were the perfect addition to our wedding. When my husband and I were first considering a video we weren't sure we wanted to spend the money on top of a videographer but we are so glad we did! Not only were they super professional, but they were also very personable. From the first time I spoke to Rob, I knew he would be the right fit to capture our special day. As we went through the months leading up to our wedding, Rob was extremely communicative and even sent a cute video from him to say how excited they were to capture our wedding in a few days. It was such a simple thing to do but meant so much to us. It was clear that Shotwell Productions wasn't just a wedding factory and cared about each of their clients so personally. (Not a feeling that my husband and I received from other vendors during our planning. ) On the day of the wedding, Rob and Rosanna made everything so easy for us. planning each of the shots perfectly and thinking ahead to what the next moments would need to be. It made the day stress free and made me confident that I had one less thing to think about. And then after the wedding... WOW... the turn around time to receive the videos was incredible only taking a few weeks. And Rob was very patient with me as it took time to fit into my schedule a moment to really review and type up my edits. Once I did, he worked with me every step of the way to make sure the video was perfect. I can't thank Rob and Rosana enough for capturing all the beautiful memories that we will have for the rest of our lives.

We hired Shotwell Productions to video our wedding and we were not disappointed! We requested our wedding video to be shot in a form of “The Office” and they went above and beyond to make sure we got our wish! It was the first time they were asked for a special wedding video that wasn’t so “traditional” but they did research even watched episodes of The Office to make sure they nailed it! We can’t thank them enough for giving us exactly what we wished for! They are awesome!

Rob was our videographer for our wedding and my husband and I are so happy we chose him. He was very knowledgeable, affordable and a great guy to work with. We climbed a metal ladder on my wedding day to get the perfect sunset shoot on top of the roof (yes he climbed with all of his equipment at well). We received our highlight video within 3 weeks of our wedding and any changes we wanted to make he was happy to do for us (we didn’t end up changing a thing bc we loved it so much). I highly recommend him as a wedding videographer.

We loved everything about our wedding video! Our videographer Jose was very professional and punctual. Rob couldn't make our wedding day, but he found someone quick and amazing to shoot our wedding and Rob finalized our video. I would highly recommend Shotwell Productions! We worked with Shotwell for photo and video for our wedding and they were BEYOND amazing!!!!! Leading up to our wedding we spoke to them numerous times about scheduling, our style etc, and did an engagement shoot! We literally got our engagement photos the same day, how amazing is that?!? Rosana and Rob were so perfect at our wedding! They got amazing photo and video and were such a blast to spend the day with! They had us laughing the whole day! They helped in so many ways that day beyond just photo and video, it was like having 2 extra friends by our side. They were on time, organized, and delivered all our photos/videos in the time frame they said. We got an album and canvas too which are absolutely amazing! Rosana let us edit the album, I literally cried when we received it, SO PERFECT!!!! Same with the videos, Rob let us edit them a bunch of times until they were EXACTLY what we wanted! We are so happy we chose Shotwell for our wedding, and you will be too!!!!! We are so grateful for the amazing photos and videos and now a great friendship with Rosana and Rob! 5 stars on here means “the best ever” and that is exactly what the Shotwell team is and deserves! I rated this vendor a 5/5 stars and would have given them an even better score if it were possible! I cannot say enough about this photography company! They Blew my expectations and were the kindest and most easy going vendor I had the pleasure of working with throughout my wedding experience. They were beyond professional , kind hearted and treated everyone in my bridal party and guests as If they were family. They were great with everyone from my 4 year old ring bearer , a groomsman with a physical Handicap, to our grandparents and every guest in between. There were times that Rosanna not only acted as a photographer, but a crowd controller, my wedding coordinator and took every opportunity to step in to accommodate needs beyond photography. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this company, and I could not wait to write this review. This is my way of not only showing the company my gratitude, but to also help deserving engaged couples to get the best photographer in the business!

I don't even know where to begin! Rob did such an amazing job. He was so easy to work with. We met Rob over the phone and knew that we wanted him as our videographer. He was so easy to work with and he's so nice and down to earth. He made the day enjoyable and i didn't feel like i had a camera in my face the entire day even though he got every shot imaginable. And the video! AMAZING, my husband watched it about 5 times once we got it back. It is beautiful and really captured our day. He didn't miss any part I am so happy with Shotwell Productions and i would recommend his business to any couple in need of a videographer. Thanks Rob!!!!!!

Rosanna and Bobby were excellent to work with. Bobby not only took pictures but helped my sons who hate to get dressed up with their ties. They also worked really well with my two grandchildren who can be shy at times. I can't wait to see the pictures.

If I could give Rob and Rosana more than 10 stars I would! I was planning my wedding from out of state, so finding a photograher/videographer that I connected with was tasking until I found Shotwell Productions. They spent so much time getting to know my fiance and I from afar that when we actually met them on the day of the wedding they were anything but strangers. All of my guests loved them and they made everyone feel so comfortable. When we received our highlight video and all our photos I could not have been happier. I have probably watched the video 100 times already and I smile every single time. Rob nailed the video so perfectly. Rosana was able to capture all the special moments I could have wanted along with capturing the most adorable pictures of my dog, who was our flower girl. I couldn't have picked a better duo!

Rob & Rosana did such a great job for us! They were so helpful during the whole process. We had the deluxe photo and video package, and it was worth every penny! Rob and Rosana are absolutely amazing. I have no idea where to even begin. From the initial meeting, to getting our photos and video they have been prompt, courteous, sweet, funny and super professional. Within minutes of every email I would get a respond back no matter what time of the day. They always ensured that they knew exactly what you wanted and executed everything better than I ever expected. Rob is a total sweetheart and Rosana is an absolute doll. Their personalities alone made us feel super comfortable and confident in their work. They are a hilarious wife and husband team that made us feel comfortable in every way. On the day of our wedding they arrived promptly and began setting up with no problems. Not only were they super discreet but their work did not get in any way of anything. They were very courteous in taking shots during the getting ready process and were very discreet throughout the night. Rosana was not just an amazing photographer but noticed every detail and would even help me out beyond her photographer duties. She fixed my hair and even my bustle when needed. When she noticed that guests were coming in when they were not supposed to she was the first one to run to me and hide me. She was probably more in tune to my needs then the actual attendant herself. Rob was fantastic with video and was amazing as well. The shots he took for our video blew us away! Overall not only did they meet my expectations they went beyond. My pictures and video were so beautiful and received many compliments. Even after the wedding my guests complimented their service. Best vendor Ive ever booked! You’ll regret not giving them a call!

We were initially not going to hire a videographer for our wedding, but as the day approached we got cold feet and decided we would be happy to have the video in the end. We contacted Shotwell Productions because their prices seemed reasonable and they had gotten strong reviews. They told us they were technically booked for our wedding day, but they had one of their "second" videographers available that day. This would be his first wedding as the lead shooter, and he would be alone as opposed to their typical two-man team, but they could knock a few hundred bucks off the price. We didn't need anything extravagant and were looking to save money wherever we could, but we were hesitant to have someone inexperienced for our big day, so we wanted to meet in person before setting anything in stone. We met with Rob himself as well as the videographer for our day, Caii, and the decision suddenly became much easier. Our chemistry with Caii was immediately clear, and our fears were put at ease when we saw some of his footage from other events and heard Rob's glowing endorsement. That initial meeting took place in a random Panera and lasted less than an hour, but Rob's chill down-to-earth demeanor and Caii's joyful personality and sense of humor made us confident in our decision. When the wedding day finally came, Caii fit in with the group more like a groomsman than a videographer - I mean that in the best possible way. He was telling jokes and having fun, which was no small feat in almost 100 degree weather, and helped to put everyone else in a good mood and made them feel comfortable being on camera. I would never have guessed that he didn't lead weddings all the time, and I certainly hope he got a big-time promotion after the terrific work he did for us. With all the coordination of photographers and shuttles and everything else, Caii was prompt and professional and helped make our day go by so smoothly. Shotwell Productions as a whole was phenomenal to work with. The turnaround time for the highlight and full-length videos was far quicker than what Rob initially told us, and the final products turned out amazing. Rob was extremely responsive to our spur of the moment questions and emails, and even worked with us on a few small edit requests on the videos. We are so glad that we opted to hire a videographer and to have this footage for the rest of our lives, and we could not have had a better experience than the one we had with Rob and Caii.

Working with Rob was a fantastic experience! Leading up to our wedding we spoke with him multiple times to explain the day of schedule and all of the special moments we wanted captured throughout the day. He was super professional and helpful with figuring out our day of schedule. Jose was our videographer for the day and he was wonderful too! He captured so much incredible footage from us getting ready all the way through the reception. He was also able to use a drone which really showed off the beauty of our venue. We worked with Rob to edit the highlight and extended films. He has incredible attention to detail and works to get the videos exactly how you want them! My husband and I both agree that getting the video was one of our best wedding decisions. There are so many special moments throughout your wedding day and having them all caught on film is something we will treasure forever!

Rob was absolutely an amazing videographer for our wedding! From our first meeting I could tell that we had made the right decision. He was so professional yet made us feel comfortable and just blended right in with our group so much that we forgot he was there. During the planning process, Rob was so responsive and easy to reach and answered all of our questions. He captured some great moments including our vows, speeches, special first dance, etc. He even brought his drone to capture the boardwalk and beach in Asbury Park and got some great overhead shots. Both our short and long videos were amazing and they were done so quickly, I couldn't believe it. Our family and friends love them! My only regret was that we used a different photography company who we didn't love as much. If you book Shotwell, my recommendation would be to book BOTH photography and videography with them. You won't be disappointed!

I am so happy we booked Rob for our November wedding. Rob was a dream! I was getting married over 2 hours away and Rob was located over an hour away. The distance did not change his great workmanship and his overall amazing attention to detail. We facetimed and spoke on the phone and I was confident that Rob knew exactly what I wanted and the type of wedding we had dreamed of. On the day of he was very relaxed which helped me feel more relaxed and comfortable. Throughout the ceremony and reception you would have never known he was there. He gave the guests space and did not interfere with anything! Our highlight video came 4 weeks after the wedding which was amazing timing! The video showed his ability to take memorable moments and create a beautiful scene to commemorate them. Our full length video was sent by email a few days later. I then went back and forth changing minor details and Rob was prompt, meticulous and considerate with all of my "tweaks". In the end my video came out even better than I could have imagined! If you are looking for a videographer I cannot recommend Rob enough!!

Can I give them 10 stars? There are just too many good things to say about these two! We felt like our friends were photographing and videoing us the whole time. Rob did a fantastic job with our video! He truly captured our night and all the feelings that came along with it. Rob has a sixth sense for what will look great in the video, trust him! We can't stop watching our wedding video!! Rosana is the perfect mix of friendly and professional. Rosana’s backup photographer was also so nice and fun to work with. My bridal party absolutely loved them too. They kept us laughing and comfortable throughout our entire wedding. I seriously have only wonderful words for them. Our photos came out so wonderful! We have had so many compliments on them! On top of them being just awesome they’re genuinely good people.

Rob and his team’s personality and professionalism goes unmatched. We didn’t get the chance to have Rob as our videographer but we did have his second shooter Caii. We were nervous at first I will admit that it wasn’t Rob however, I can’t say enough good things about Caii. He arrived early, was super friendly, and had an amazing personality people that are still talking about. He went above and beyond with everything. Caii not only captured our day so well, he went above and beyond in helping my husband with little tasks that weren’t his job. Only to make it easier for us. He helped me all night with my dress for pictures, and to make sure it wasn’t getting too dirty. Everyone loved him and felt so comfortable around him. The footage turned out amazing because of Caii. Now on to Rob, we have had the pleasure of seeing Rob after we booked him at our friends weddings ( per recommendation) he is so friendly and polite. He answers emails very quickly if not instantaneously. He is the one who edits our film every though Caii shot it. We received our videos back yesterday and I’m BLOWN away. They are incredible. Rob truly knows what he is doing. I even asked for a edit to one, and he responded immediately. Everyone is raving about our video for good reason. We are so happy with our choice to get a video and to go with Shotwell productions. The video and experience making it we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you guys so much again!! It was such a pleasure to work with Rob for our wedding! He and his colleague Pen were so incredibly professional and made the process super easy. He captured the day beautifully and designed the most special highlight video to commemorate the day, which is something that I will cherish for years to come!

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Rob and Rosana. We fortunately found them after having a discouraging experience with our first photographer and were relieved at how responsive, professional and wonderful they were to work with. Their work and team was excellent on our wedding day and really captured the beauty of our unconventional reception venue (a historic Mansion on a college campus). I hired Rob Shotwell for our videographer and it was the best decision I made! I always knew I wanted a videographer and I did a lot of research on what companies offered in their packages and their prices. Rob was referred to me from another videographer and I am so glad he was. After watching his videos, I knew he was the guy I wanted to do my wedding. From the start, Rob has always been very friendly, helpful, and has a great personality! He explained the package in detail and was thorough with payment options. A few days before the wedding he contacted me to discuss the day of timeline. I appreciate that he was flexible on certain details. The day of the wedding, Rob was amazing!! He was never in the way and felt as if he has been a friend for a while. It's relaxing knowing you have a vendor that cares about their work and being professional. One of my favorite things about Rob is that we were able to edit any part of the video before it was final (not that we needed too). We received our videos within a month & a half and I cannot stop watching them! Rob is the best of the best!! I definitely recommend Shotwell Productions!

Easiest decision of the whole wedding process! From the first conversation, to the day itself, to finalizing everything afterwards, Rob and Rosana were absolutely fantastic. They are extremely kind and personable and their creations are stunning. My husband and I were blown away by the attention to detail in every picture. We actually had them do our engagement shoot (gorgeous!) plus our photography and videography for the wedding day (breathtaking!). Their prices were very reasonable and they are worth every penny. They were also very quick to respond to any email, text, or call with our questions. Honestly, working with them felt like working with friends. My husband and I are not big "picture" people, but Rob and Rosana helped us feel immediately comfortable throughout the entire process. We were sad to say goodbye to them after our wedding! We will absolutely be using them in the future for any of our photo needs. Don't pass them up!

From the very first meet and greet with Rob and Rosana they were so professional and personable. They are themselves a beautiful couple with amazing positive energy. My wife and I chose to do both photography and videography because their prices were so affordable. From day of booking to our wedding day they responded to every and all questions via text, email and or phone call. On our special day Rob, Rosana, and their assistants were great. They paid attention to all the little details, capturing every moment. The turn around on our pictures was very quick and they came out spectacular. We will be using Rob and Rosana for any and all other events requiring pictures. I promise you will love them just as much.

We had Rosana and Rob as our wedding photographers. They are so attentive, professional and delightful. After the wedding, I felt they were actually a part of our family. Rosana remembered our guests' names and paid attention to every little detail. She could see my husband shirt button is untied and little leaf falling on my hair through her lens, and helped fix such little details. She is additionally attentive to our grandparents who are not so convenient walking. Although we haven't seen the final pictures yet, we are sure they will be good ones and we are lucky to have them on our wedding and can't wait to thank them for their service.

At first I wasn’t going to have a videographer but then I met rob and hired him on the spot. He’s super laid back and is very flexible. I highly recommend adding the drone it was the most fun (and one of the best parts) of the video! Rob has his own ideas but was also open to ours, which made for a great team. He worked very well with our photographer and did not get in the way of anything. Our video came out perfect and we’re glad we went with it. Also he is very responsive and best of all we got our videos in about a month which is unheard of!!! Highly recommend!

Rob and his team are FANTASTIC! They were so friendly, accommodating and professional on our wedding day - we loved having them share in the day. Rob captured all the shots we wanted, and put together a beautiful highlight reel and full 120 minute video of the best moments from the day. Our videos were ready very soon after our wedding day, which was so exciting! And, Rob is so responsive and helpful with questions or editing requests. All for a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend him enough!! I'm so glad I have footage of the day to look back on for years to come.

As industry professionals were were very specific and very meticulous, we admit that from the very beginning. Shotwell Productions came recommended to us from our new Sister in Law, she used Rob for her engagement photos. She couldn’t stop raving out how much fun they had even in the rain. So we started by calling Rob just to introduce our selves, and from that one initial conversation me and my husband knew it was going to be so much fun! Rob has an infectious personality, he makes you want to have fun and tell him everything! We booked immediately, and while we weren’t his first same sex marriage we will always be one that he remembers! As we went through the planning he was very specific, he gave us timelines and was excellent with follow up but for us the icing on the cake was his team, but there was one specific member of his team that we couldn’t live without! Rob’s Fiancé Rosana was an absolute riot, she was the photographer and there was not a single moment that she missed. Whenever something was happening she was already all over it, and the best part is she never hesitated to jump into the fray but still stuck with the pre-determined timeline. I gave her a vague idea of a few pictures I wanted and she made it her mission to get those pictures for us! She was never intrusive but she was always on top of everyone! Both Rob and Rosana felt like guests with a purpose, they got to know us and told us who the were, they are an amazing team with a great out for magic moments. I have no words to describe how easy and delightful Rob was to work with from Day 1! After our first conversation, I realized Robs careful questions and attention to detail was going to make this video perfect for me and my husband. From song choices to his special effects with his amazing drone ... nothing disappointed. Not only was he easy going and easy to work with the day of, but you would think him and my photographer were best friends. Minutes after being introduced they were laughing and working together to make sure they were capturing all the best moments without interrupting me or getting in each other’s way. My husband hates being in front of cameras and even he tells friends and family that Rob went about everything in such a professional manner, getting the best shots without being in our faces. And then when we got our highlight reel .. I was over the moon excited with the finished product. I definitely did not make it easy for Rob with my little nit-picky changes, however, he always worked his magic quickly and each time I loved the video more and more. We’ve been married six months and I still watch it almost daily ! Rob, I can’t thank you enough ! Don’t worry ... if I can do it again ... you will be there !

My husband and I got married on New Year's Eve, just five days ago- and I have been dying to find the time to write this review. I wanted to make sure I had the opportunity to appropriately RAVE about the 5-star treatment we received having Shotwell Productions as a part of our wedding crew. From our first meeting to the ball-drop at midnight, Rob and Rosana made every aspect of capturing our day a dream come true. We relied heavily on their expertise to guide us through documenting each perfect moment. I was astonished at the little details they managed to capture along the way (we were singing our heads off through our first dance and they still managed to catch us at moments where we didn't look like two maniacs). Throughout our time working with Shotwell Productions, Mike and I became extremely comfortable with R&R and on our wedding day everyone felt as if we had known them forever and they seamlessly added to the excitement we all felt. Beyond their talent at their respective jobs, they're professionalism, passion and friendly, fun-loving attitude really made them the ideal team for us. I can't say enough about how confident we were in their ability and how pleased we have been with their work. Coming off the high of our wedding we were delighted to receive a gorgeous sneak peek of our day- less than 24 hrs. later. It was wonderful to immediately be able to share some of our favorite moments with friends and family and even get our thank-you cards ordered in a timely manner. I can't imagine being more delighted with a photography/videography package and would recommend this dynamic duo to anyone and everyone. They are worth every cent and more and will truly live up to your expectations- and then exceed them. Rob and his team was a pleasure to work with. His style and personality was a great match for us from the beginning when speaking over the phone. He had suggested that we meet up over coffee so that we can get to know each other better and so that we can see his videography style. He also got us thinking of some ideas for our wedding day, such as a gift exchange, and the first look, which we hadn't really been thinking about at that time, but ultimately made our wedding and the video even better. During the day of the wedding, Rob and his assistant were on-time, professional, and friendly - just as we had expected. He also worked very well with our photographers to coordinate the schedule and timing of shots. Both the short "highlight" video and the full-length "feature" videos turned out great. Rob was great at turning around all of the video editing and modifications we had asked for very quickly. The quality and colors in the final videos were amazing, and people who viewed the videos marveled at the colors that were captured. We would definitely recommend Rob's videography services to our friends and family!

The Wedding Day is a day filled with love, happiness, joy, and culminates months of – sometimes years of – planning and anxiety! After the fun part of falling in love, certain stresses of “the Big Day” itself may creep in: Will everything look OK? Will the day run smoothly? What if the pictures mortify me? Shotwell Productions provided an amazing team of photographers and videography for our big day. Rob provided a dazzling array and high quality of photographs within our limited budget. We got everything for a fraction of the cost of his competitors. On our day, his company provided a team of photographers that enable multiple photographs taken at multiple areas of our wedding, capturing every special moment of a day that moves way too fast. Shotwell Productions also offers great videography features. We were hesitated at the need to re-watch a five hour day, but with some nagging from our family we agreed. Since that was their specialty and because we loved how well our engagement photos were we decided to book him for videography as well. Rob did a fantastic job at encapsulating the day into 45 minute video. We have enjoyed his video alone and with family and friends several times over. Moreover, Rob created a three minute highlight video, which serves as a great way to showcase the event in a quick, live snapshot for friends and family who could not attend, or attendees who just want to relive the moment in a few moments. On a personal level, working with Rob, Rosanna, and his team was a true pleasure. Even though we had met him on two other occasions, having Rob capture our wedding was also like having a new-found friend attend. He is funny, personable, and knows how to make those around him feel comfortable when capturing that perfect shot. Because of Rob and his team all of beauty of our day was captured. Shotwell Productions filmed and photographed our wedding. Rob and Rosana were very professional all throughout and very helpful during our wedding day! The final product came out amazing! They captured all the great memories that we will have for the rest of our lives to watch! Also, they completed a highlight video which seemed just like a montage that came right out of a romantic film! Shotwell Productions went above and beyond expectations when Rob filmed every aspect of our New Years Eve 2014 wedding. He captured every second from my wife and I getting ready to the "first look" to the ceremony to the Chinese tea ceremony and reception to the explosive fireworks at midnight to end this magical night. Rob captured every single second. Originally, I was against having a video filmed for our wedding because I felt the DVD would have sat there like a drink coaster, but after speaking to Rob at a concert, he assured me it would be a great thing to have to remember the wedding and I'm glad he talked me into it. Rob posted a 5-minute clip on YouTube of our wedding and to this day, people say they cry when they watch it. Mission accomplished! Shotwell Productions does amazing work and I will suggest them to anyone looking for a videographer and photographer.

There are so many photographers/Videographers out there but I am so thankful to have had Rob and Rosana apart of our wedding. My husband and I decided to have a destination wedding in Nuevo Vallarta Mexico. I didn't want a big wedding. I just wanted something simple but beautiful. Rob and Rosana made this experience stress free and fun. They captured every moment so beautifully. From the beautiful sunrises at the resort, the excursions we did, intimate moments with our loved ones while preparing for our wedding, Our beach ceremony and our very memorable trash the dress session. It was just such a blessing to have them be apart of it all. We had a blast and thanks to them I can relive those memories over and over again and share them with our expanding family. We look forward to using them again very soon when our little princess joins us this spring. Rob and Rosana are the best!!!!!!!

Words can not even describe how happy I am that we hired Rob! He was so professional and easy to work with. We got married on October 22nd, 2016. He was on time, quick to respond to our emails and questions, and came to all of our locations. They captured videos of us: getting ready at our hotel, the church, Lambert Castle, and our reception at The Bethwood. He got our highlight video to us a few days later and it was perfect. At our wedding while the photographer was capturing photos he was capturing the details and facial expressions I never would have seen. If it wasn't for Rob, I wouldn't have seen the true expression on my grooms face when walking down the aisle! He added so many details, like my dad opening my wedding church program, and my fingers gracing over my dress. When we first started planning our wedding, we were debating if we needed video, now I can say with 100 percent certainty, every wedding deserves to be recorded. There are so many shots Rob got that our photographer didn't capture. Three months later and my husband and I still watch our highlight video almost daily and love it! My mom still gets teary eyed everytime she watches it. Our photos turned out great as well, but I'm beyond thankful we have a perfect wedding video and I have no regrets. My best friend hired a well-known, big name, way over-priced wedding videography company, it took 6 months for her to get the highlight video (after many emails and phone calls), she was so disappointed with the rushed quality. Rob takes his time with each wedding he does, and it truly shows in his work! I recommend Rob to any bride/groom looking for an outstanding Videography company. Rob Shotwell was the videographer for our June 2016 gay wedding. He had about 3 assistants with him who were all professional and easy to work with. We got our wedding DVD about 5 months after the wedding and it is beautiful. He sent us our highlight video while we were on our honeymoon, within a few days after the ceremony. All services were prompt and professional. I actually miss them already because it was so much fun planning with them. 5/5 stars- I highly recommend.
