My wife and I could not have asked for better DJ and photo booth experiences at our wedding. After contacting several other DJs and feeling like we were not finding the right fit, we had a great impression from our first call with Chris (DJ Phlipz). He was honest, up front, and had a cool confidence to himself. At this point, we were convinced Chris could guide the flow of our wedding and seamlessly work with our vendor team. But after watching Chris’ Twitch streams and sensing his style and music taste, we knew he was the right fit. During the lead up to our wedding, communicating with Chris and working out logistical details was easy. He went above and beyond with mixing two songs to create custom music for our first dance, as well as making sure everyone was on the same page with our schedule. On our wedding day itself, Chris was every bit the professional that he was during the planning process – and then some. His audio support during our ceremony was fantastic, my wife and I were delighted by his ability to think on the fly with managing transitions throughout the day, and he had excellent song selections for the parts of our program where my wife and I deferred to his judgment. The uplighting around the dance floor was beautiful, and together with Chris’ playlist, they kept our guests dancing all night. When guests finally took a break from the dance floor, it was to use the photo booth. For several days after our wedding, our guests kept complimenting us about the dance floor environment and would not stop sharing their photo booth pictures with us. I hired DJ Phlipz AKA Chris for my wedding on May 15th and I would hire him all over again if I had the chance. He is not only an excellent DJ, but an upstanding and professional host! He came recommended from another friend of mine who had him as the DJ at her wedding. He was phenomenal from start to finish. He is so responsive and answered any questions that I had. We had a phone call to cover everything before the wedding and he listened to my needs and not only delivered, but exceeded my expectations. I had also asked him for a last minute favor for a TV for a surprise video for my husband, and he made it happen! The music for the ceremony was perfect and everything went smoothly and as planned! For the reception, everyone kept giving me compliments saying he played the best music they had ever heard at any wedding before. The guests and I danced the night away to every song. I highly recommend him for weddings and and any event where you want someone professional, reliable and fun. Chris, you are truly a PROFESSIONAL & excellent at your craft. Your attentiveness, enthusiasm, and attention to detail were greatly appreciated. Chris was able to pivot and make sudden changes at the drop of a hat. He kept the energy pumping and had our guests out on the dance floor all night. Chris was fantastic and was a true professional! We made sure to book him for DJ-ing services early on in our engagement because we knew how in demand he was and we heard nothing but great things about him. So glad we did! He super responsive during the planning stage, and was extremely helpful before AND during the reception! When it came to music, we gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear for sure, and trusted him with music for the rest of the night. We received many, many compliments on the music, and that was mainly because of him and what he played! We also booked him for uplighting services, photobooth services, and selfie station services. Talk about a one stop shop! Booking Chris was easily one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding reception!

Chris was absolutely amazing and was one of the highlights of our wedding! He was our DJ/MC for the reception, set up audio and music for the ceremony, and set up uplighting for our ceremony. Throughout the whole planning process he was so accommodating and had great suggestions to make our timeline smoother and make more sense. We gave him ideas of what kinds of music we wanted and he crushed it from there... our dance floor was packed the whole night and we got so many compliments on how amazing the music and transitions were. He also somehow managed to make this weird country song my mom asked him to play because I used to sing it as a kid work and seamlessly transitioned into and out of it.. that was impressive. We are so glad we found him and he was a part of our wedding day!

We loved working with Chris! We used their DJ/MCing, uplighting, Monogram projection and photobooth services for our wedding on November 2019 at The River View at Occoquan. Everyone loved the photobooth and the selfie station booth he provided. The music was poppin' and everyone danced the night away. I highly recommend using ShowPow events for any events.

We used ShowPow Events for both DJ/MC services and also a photo booth! Working with Chris was so amazing and easy - he really knocked it out of the park!! We were worried our guests wouldn’t dance, but he did a great job at feeling out the crowd and playing songs that kept people on the dance floor the whole night! Our guests also loved the photo booth - it was a nice touch that Chris sent ALL of the photo booth pictures to us after the wedding. We are so happy with our decision and would recommend him again and again!

Chris with ShowPow! Events was so awesome! He was friendly and prompt with his responses ever since the first day we inquired, and he was very accommodating of everything we were looking for! He really transformed our wedding playlist into something everyone could dance to, and everyone had a great time! Our guests came back to us after the wedding saying how they haven't danced so much at a wedding before! We were so happy to have booked with Chris. Where do we even start? From the very start, Chris paid immediate attention to us and our needs. He was willing to meet us on a week night after work fitting us into his tight schedule right before one of his weekly gigs and though we knew that he did not have all night to spend with us, the entire sit down felt so comfortable, calm and relaxed giving us all the attention we deserved. He handled our requests with the utmost respect and took his notes diligently. He laid out the entire list of everything we would have to think about for the wedding including songs for each and every part of the wedding that we did not even realize up to that point had to be customized and molded to our liking. He made sure that we provided him with a complete "day of" schedule to make it easier to co-ordinate and come to think of it, if it was not for all of his guidance, pointers, and professional opinion, we could not have even imagined making such a neat and detailed breakdown of events. Chris helped us shuffle the timing of events around to all make sense so that the wedding would flow smoothly. On top of not only being the DJ, he was our voice, our MC, our host in a way and to top it off he offered us uplighting for the entire evening with color changing lighting for then people wanted to get loose on the dance floor! Chris was always professional. His text/e-mail and phone calls back were always on point and he followed up with us to review everything multiple times before the wedding. The one wish every new bride and groom dream of on their wedding day is that their DJ/MC takes the bull by the horns and navigates the ship, leaving us to have absolutely ZERO ZILCH NADA worries about anything! What a major relief of stress Chris made for our wedding! The speakers for the ceremony were set up in the perfect location outside, EQ'd perfectly, songs were cued up and played precisely on time and everyone was amazed at how it turned out. He was also wirelessly linked to his iPad when needed, brilliant! The cocktail hour music was also on point and made the beginning of the evening very energized, everyone on their feet involving themselves in all of the festivities with a smile from ear to ear! Moving onto the 1st introduction of the Bride and Groom, Wedding Party and First Dance. Chris absolutely NAILED every since pronunciation of all names even though one of our parties last name had about 18 letters in it! I mean wow! You do not get better than this guy, really. For dinner music, we kind of left the election up to DJ Phlipz and we clearly remember looking over to tables 1 & 2 with all of our close friends and they were all weaving and bobbing while eating filet mignon so amused by the song selection and energy he created. At one point we even overheard one of our good friends say aloud "wow! I really love this, such a great selection in music choice." That really stuck out to us, it's the small things that add up and count sometimes. Every request we made Chris fulfilled and he had babies, kids and even 90 year old Grandma shaking her thang! lol Cheers to you! You are a great DJ, person and the perfect choice for any couple at their wedding. We are so blessed to have been able to share the most important day of our lives with you. We could not thank you or be grateful enough, really! Without you what would our wedding have been? We really could not imagine it without you, it was PERFECT thanks to you! Thank you! Chris (DJ PHLIPZ) was amazing throughout the wedding planning process. He responded quickly and professionally, met with us face to face to plan the details of our reception, and even invited us out to see him live at work at Don Tito. At our wedding, the dance floor was packed the entire night and the floor was even shaking-now that is a good party! Part of the dance floor even broke off because people were dancing so hard. Everyone commented on how great the music was and he certainly knows how to read the room. If you need a DJ, look no further!

Chris was absolutely amazing to work with! If you want to have a seamless experience with your DJ, hire him. From the very beginning, he was responsive and really took the time to get to know us. On our wedding day, he knew how to keep everyone on the dance floor and kept flow of our night perfect. We had to regroup on the timing of our cake cutting, and a few other things and he handled it perfectly. It was very obvious he understood how a wedding should flow, while also understanding what we wanted. He also worked with our other vendors wonderfully, which makes a huge difference. Mike and Chris were amazing to work with. Chris was very prompt with all paperwork and information he gave us. Mike DJ'd our wedding. He was incredible to work with starting with our first phone call. He was available for us to bounce ideas off of and really helped up create the perfect timeline for our wedding. We were easily able to text him song preferences and ideas for how we wanted our big day to go. On the day of our wedding, he was well prepared, professional, and a blast to work with. Our dance floor was PACKED ALL NIGHT and we got so many compliments on how much fun our guests had because Mike's music choices were perfect! We truly cannot thank Mike enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! I highly recommend Mike!

DJ Phlipz aka as Chris was an amazing DJ. We asked him to complete a very difficult task, a Filipino wedding with absolutely NO LINE DANCING. This means somehow he had to keep everyone on the dancefloor moving while also avoiding any sort of line dance music incorporated. We have nothing against line dancing, it's just that we wanted a wedding where it wasn't commandeered by the older generation. Once you play September, there is no going back. You have to play the onslaught of tracks and by the end of the night, not everyone may be dancing. With his mixes and tracks, everyone was on the dance floor from start to finish. He did an amazing job and his mic skills were superb. Not to mention how he worked with us weeks coming up to the wedding. Phenomenal DJ and I absolutely recommend you booking him, Filipino or not, to your wedding or event.

Chris is amazing! We hired him to DJ our wedding after I saw him do his thang at a wedding I also worked at, as a bartender. After seeing what he did at that wedding, I KNEW we had to have him for ours! Being in the service industry myself, and working one too many weddings to count, Chris/DJ Phlipz is easily the best DJ in a very very large radius, hands down. He gets the party going and keeps it going all night. There were actually many songs that I put on a do-not-play list and, unlike other DJs sometimes, he actually didn't play any of them (so thankful for that)! If you want your crowd to dance, DJ Phlipz is the one to do it! The biggest/most frequent compliment we get from guests who attended our big day was that the DJ was awesome - everyone had so much fun, and it was one of the best parties ever. Chris also provided uplighting that he was able to match to our color scheme perfectly, and the DSLR self-service photo booth, which was a huge bonus for our guests. We decided to go paperless, so each guest just put their email and or phone number into the "selfie booth" and the photos were immediately sent to them digitally (that's all people want nowadays anyway). At the end of the night, he sent us the entire gallery of photos that people took, so we could really see how much people enjoyed it! Our entire experience with Chris was positive - communication was great and timely, his work, obviously, was the bomb... he did a great job with the MC-ing duties too - double checking with us several days before to find out how to pronounce everyone's names for introductions, and just making sure the whole party ran smoothly in general. Stop looking for other DJ's, you've found the one you need.

DJ Phlipz was our wedding DJ and he did an amazing job! He did a great job with the timing and organization of events. He is extremely professional, and made sure to practice pronouncing the names of everyone in the bridal party. The dance floor was consistently packed throughout the night, and we received tons of compliments from our guests about the music.

DJ Phlipz was AMAZING! He's quick to respond, very organized and easy to work with. Just as important, he kept everyone on the dance floor having a great time. We added the uplight feature and we are so happy we did, it really added to the dancing. I highly recommend him!
