We had Tim Scott as our DJ and I have always heard that a DJ can make or break your reception. Tim was a part of our family by the time we left that day! He had called to touch base with me the day before and really put all my nerves at ease. He also created a mash-up type flow for my father/daughter dance with Christina Aguilera's "I Turn to You" and Toby Keith's "Wanna Talk About Me" Not an easy task, but it flowed amazingly! While it made me nervous that I didn't work or even meet my DJ as much as a florist or caterer, Tim always made it very clear I could call him at any time and any day and he always responded promptly. Tim was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend him for other events! Thank you so much for making our day so special!

If I had to say one thing about Showtek and Rob it would be that our families are not dancers, in fact I thought no one would be on the dance floor; instead there was not one minute of the reception where there wasn't someone on the dance floor. Rob was able to sense the mood of the reception and play exactly what my guests wanted and reacted to. He was not afraid to try new things and was able to tell when a song might not be working out and seamlessly transition to another to keep the party going. We had rave reviews all night and still are getting compliments on the DJ and reception three weeks later!!! Rob also did the music during our ceremony. I had sent him a list about a month out and talked to him the day of and he was able to get everything we needed taken care of in five minutes of discussion! Our bridal party announcement at the reception was fantastic, Rob took some of our personal information our officiant shared at the ceremony and brought it into our reception. Any time I have a have an event in the future I will be going with Show Tek!

Rob with ShowTek was great at the wedding, however a problem must have occurred when we submitted our online application with our list of songs, because he didn't have the most recent updated list at the wedding. We just needed to spend a few minutes at the reception to go over all of the songs to make sure they were correct. After those corrections were made, everything else was great!

Our reception was so much fun and so perfect for us! It had a lot to do with our DJ. He created such a fun reception and respected our "no play" list while accepting other requests throughout the evening.

Rob was super cool - he understood what our ideas were for the reception for music, the dances and the timing for our ceremony music. He played great music, mixed in just the right amount of genres and people were on the dance floor the entire night. Thanks!

They did an excellent job and kept the party going!

The DJ I got for my wedding was not the one I spoke to on the phone and was not great. He did not know who was toasting and left a huge awkward pause after the toasts so that I actually had to get up from my seat and yell, "well I guess we go to cake now?!" to direct people. This was very embarrassing. Later he played the same song over again and did not realize it. He also did not announce cake so no one knew they could go get some. Overall, the DJs poor service made most of my bad memories from my wedding night... Not what I expected...

Rob did such an amazing job. He truly had a knack for what to play and when. He did our announcements so well, on top of it all. He was just really professional, punctual, very well priced, and kind. He helped to make my special day perfect and I really appreciated him!

My DJ Rob was awesome, I am really not picky so I just gave him range to work in and he was great! He also did the music at my ceremony and it totally added to the ambiance. I had such a hard time deciding what music I wanted to walk down the aisle to because I didn't want the traditional march. He told me to pick whatever my heart desired and he'd make it happen, with no practice or talking ahead of time he had my perfect song cued up and the day was amazing.

Rob was our DJ and we weren't very happy about him (I've heard great things about Mark however). The ceremony music was very quiet, couldn't hear it well at all. He played a song with words for our recessional, when we requested the instrumental. He messed up our bridesmaids name. He did the money dance while most of our guests were watching my slide show. He couldn't get anyone to listen or come over for the bouquet toss, money dance, and cake. Music skipped a couple times and he wasn't very lively. Not happy, esp since he was pretty expensive.
