Our menu has been created to reflect local, organic, and sustainable ingredients that highlight the seasonality of cuisine in New England while also working with local farms and producers. Each wedding menu is curated to your favorite tastes and preferences as well as any dietary needs or family favorites. Our menu has something for everyone on your guests list from omnivores, pescatarians, vegans and vegetarians. We also feature a wide array of gluten free appetizers and entrees. Raw Bar, Gourmet Cheese & Charcuterie Boards are also availabe as is a selection of Cakes and Desserts,
To begin events catered with us, our professional and personable staff will great your guests with trays of appetizers and beverages to get the reception started. We offer five distinctly different food experiences, each designed to curate the ambiance you have imagined. These include; buffet, plated, family style, food truck and stations. From whimsical outdoor events to formal sit down dinners or laid back backyard weddings, each of these are tailored to fit your vision. All of our wedding packages include a team of professionals to greet your guests with appetizers and/or beverages, attend to your guests needs, serve food during dinner, and assist with any setup/clean up needs required. Giving you to opportunity to fully enjoy and relax on your day.
With all of our events and weddings we prioritize you and your guests to create a memorable and delicious experience to pair with all that you have envisioned for your reception. Julia and her team were a gift from heaven. Julia is such a joy to work with and the food was out of this world. My husband and I had a laid back wedding, but having fantastic food was non-negotiable. The one vision I had for our wedding was lobster rolls and delicious seafood, and the boy did the Shuck Food Truck deliver. It has been 4 months from our wedding, and people are STILL talking about how amazing the food was. Truly the highlight of our wedding. Julia and her team also extremely flexible. About a month before our wedding we included a few add ons (such as a grazing station... a must have) and we switched from food-truck style to a seated dinner. Despite being last minute, they made it happen and the day-of was seamless. The passed apps were phenomenal, I could not sing enough praises, and we also had a raw bar (oysters and little neck clams) that was a HUGE hit! I was so happy to add on the grazing stations as well. For entrees we had lobster rolls, steak, and a vegetarian succotash. The best lobster roll I have ever had!!! I can not give enough praise to the Shuck Truck. I would get married again just to have them cater it. Please do yourself a favor and secure the Shuck Truck for your event. It will be the best decision you make.
Where do we even begin with our amazing service. We got married in Capecod 9/7/2024. We first went to meet Julia Nadler at her shop for a taste testing winter of 2023 and that was the start of our excitement for wedding planning. She has a variety of decadent dishes to choose from and we knew we had to have her award winning lobster rolls for our wedding! Raving reviews from our family and friends. We started our wedding with cocktail hour including shrimp shooters, chicken and waffles, whipped ricotta crostini and a tomato tartlet. Everything was passed by servers with elegance and speed. We were served dinner starting with a citrus heirloom salad followed with warm rolls, my husband chose the lobster roll with purple potato salad and I had short rib with truffle mashed potatoes and carrots. When I say it was one of the best choices we made, we mean it. I’ve never had such amazing food at a wedding. Breaking the norm from the standard boring ballroom dinners and book the shuck truck for all your events! She’s a light spirit always in a great mood, has everything under control and is extremely professional but a relatable person at the end of the day! She cares what you think, what you want to change and checks in with you along the way during planning. We had a more DIY venue and was worried about how we were going to set up the tables and linens- Julia’s full service team was able to work with my coordinator to get the table spreads looking flawless for dinner service. Easy forms of payment and breakdown of everything was included so you don’t have to guess where your money is going. Just know it’s impeccable service and food that elevates your most important day.

Everything from the smallest details of the charcuterie offerings down to the place settings was thought of and we couldn’t be happier that we decided to go with Elegant Taste. We started out this process feeling super stressed out about planning our wedding, but Julia put us at ease right away and we felt well taken care of from beginning to end. It ended up pouring buckets raining during the dinner reception and ETC didn’t skip a beat so everything and everyone stayed dry. Jason and I are so happy we picked Elegant Taste as our caterer.

Hiring Elegant Taste Catering was one of the best decisions we made planning our wedding. Julia was an absolute dream to work with, from being organized and thoughtful and well helping us figure it all out. We got married a year ago and still can't stop thinking about how delicious and beautiful the food was. ETC is really the total package. Highly recommend!!
I cannot say enough just how spectacular the Shuck Truck was for our wedding. We constantly have friends bringing up the wedding saying “that was the best food at a wedding I’ve ever had!”
I couldn’t agree more. Julia was so communicative, organized and made great recommendations, the day of I didn’t even have to worry about anything she just came right in and got started, the staff was an absolute dream, every server, bartender etc, they were amazing!
She also made our wedding cake and it was stunning. Truly wouldn’t have changed a thing. Thank you!
We were THRILLED with our experience with Julia and Shuck Food Truck. The tasting with her had blown us away, and the food at our wedding was incredible! Shuck Food Truck is a true foodie's caterer - she put so much creativity and care into our menu, and helped personalize several dishes to fit with Russian cuisine. Guests raved about the oyster bar, the short rib, the scallops on rosemary skewers, as well as the passed apps. Julia prepares truly gourmet food at incredibly reasonable prices, and she was always flexible and transparent with us. We had been nervous with going with a smaller / newer caterer when we were deciding on vendors back in 2020, but we're so glad we chose Julia! We got the small business owner's personal touch, and our night went off without a hitch. Thanks for everything Julia!
Shuck did an absolutely FABULOUS job at our wedding on a private estate in Gloucester, MA. From the beautiful cocktail creations to the detailed dinner menu, they knocked it out of the park. One of the owners, Julia, came to our house for our tasting and created all of our menu items right in front of us! She truly made us feel like family and we knew we were in good hands. Multiple guests said that this was the best lobster roll they have ever had!
Working with the Shuck Truck was a 5-star experience not only for my Bride and Groom/their guests, but also for myself as a local wedding and event planner. From setup to breakdown Julia and her team did not miss a beat! Upon arriving on-site her team was prompt and ready to get to work setting up all rental items, prepping their food and communicating clearly and efficiently with my team to ensure no efforts were duplicated. There were plenty of food & beverage staff on-site to execute all of our discussed plans including passed drinks upon arrival, live oyster shucking at the raw bar, signature cocktails, tableside champagne, wine and dinner service. Not a step was missed and their team was professional and welcoming to all guests through it all. The food tasted so exceptional you would have never known that it was being cooked in a truck on-site! From a raw bar and top notch grazing table with passed apps for cocktail hour to a seasonal salad followed by (3) entrée selections (the lobster roll was my favorite!) for dinner service, topped off with passed homemade cookies with ice cream sandwiched between no guest or vendor left hungry. They stayed until the bar was closed down, all tables/linen were cleared for the rental company to pick-up and their prep area was cleaner than they found it. We held multiple calls prior to the wedding to ensure all was in place and Julia's recommendations were pivotal in the success of the wedding day. From ice delivery to trash removal she thought of it all and provided brilliant solutions along the way. I am so glad we had the opportunity to work together I cannot wait to hire them for many future events!
Hiring Julia and the Shuck Food Truck team to cater our wedding was the best decision we ever made. She was a delight to work with throughout the planning process, even when we had some challenges to navigate with our venue. Our guests all raved about the food, which was not only delicious, but beautifully prepared and plated. It was sophisticated, yet half the price of the other caterers recommended by our venue. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!!
We have worked with Julia and her husband for 3 years since we were a covid couple. The amount of time she spent with us made her feel more like a friend than a vendor. The food is absolutely incredible and the service was unmatched. Everyone told us all night how it wasn't typical "wedding" food. Everyone was obsessed and we got no complaints from guests. The airstream was such a nice touch to our venue. I cannot recommend them enough from their price, to the service and especially the food.
The food was awesome and plated SO beautifully! Julia was so sweet and created an amazing menu that was perfect for our New England wedding and guests loved the food. The Airstream rental for the bar was our favorite!! Everyone loved the bartender and the airstream was such a great addition to our reception. There were a few minor snafus with watering the tables and ice but overall we were really happy. Thank you Julia and team!
Julia and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. We hired the Shuck Truck for our backyard wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Everyone was RAVING about the food and the entire food truck experience. Many said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. She was very patient and was able to customize our menu to exactly what we wanted. Would hire her again in a heartbeat!
My husband and I worked with the Shuck Truck to cater our wedding outside of Boston in June. We had a great experience. We really wanted to do something out of the ordinary for our reception, and the Shuck Truck was perfect. We found their prices to be very reasonable compared to other vendors, and everyone at the wedding loved the food! The raw bar with oysters and shrimp was a big hit, and all of our guests LOVED the lobster rolls, fried chicken and ice cream sandwiches. I'm just sad that I didn't find time to eat seconds!
“The Shuck Truck catered our wedding at my parent’s house on the Cape this September. It was important to my fiancé and I to have really great seafood at our wedding because so many people were traveling to New England for us. We wanted to treat our guests to some great food, but we didn’t want to spend our whole budget on it.
We found the Shuck Truck , took one look at the menu, we knew this was it . Julia was an absolute dream to work with – responds promptly to any questions, provides advice but doesn’t overwhelm, and she is calm. I was worried about so many details , but Julia and her team handled everything effortlessly. Not only were they great to work with, but the food was absolutely amazing. So many of our guests (even native east-coasters) commented that the lobster sliders were to die for! The beet beignets were a huge hit as well (basically anything we ordered was a hit). The food and the service were perfect for us, and we are so happy that we chose them. I’d hire them for anything again in a heartbeat.
