e were looking specifically for someone with knowledge of Caribbean music (soca, dancehall, reggae) and we found that here. They provided uplightling and 4 hours of DJ + MC services for our event. Before our event, they had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire for our music choices and Burton did a great job at taking our requests and blending Caribbean music with American music. The dancefloor was never empty and Burton kept the crowd hype all night! Thank you Shut Down Productions for an amazing, unforgettable night!

On the day of our wedding he was the first one there and had everything set up when we walked into the venue. I highly recommend his services! We had glow sticks, Flaming donuts, and a live guitarist but by far the thing that set off the wedding for the guests was the 360 photo booth. It was a great way to bring together the memories of our wedding and have all of our guests interact. Everyone got to keep a custom memory of the event and the following day he sent us over a link with all of the amazing photos that everyone had taken. Had it not been for this we would’ve missed so much because we were running around doing a million things. I can’t recommend his services enough!

st-minute dance locations. When our friends got to the dance floor I think their minds were a little blown. When searching for a DJ we wanted to make sure we didn't hire the traditional wedding DJ that plays full 3-4 min versions of every song and basically presses play on their Spotify playlist. The mashups/setlist was exactly what we were looking for! We had a small wedding of 65 people (half young people, half older crowd) and I was worried people wouldn't be dancing. The dance floor was packed all night. He was able to read the room so well and tailor the music to who was on the dance floor. The next day at our brunch everyone was talking about how amazing the DJ was. We already have family members wondering how they can book Burton for their events in Texas!! If you're like me, you probably read through all of these reviews and are wondering if Shut Down Productions are too good to be true... I can tell you every review lives up to the hype. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and book them!!
