Shutter Capture Photography

Every newlywed couple has that one vendor who really left an impression with them; one vendor that they can't wait to tell their family, friends, and even the whole world about. For my husband and I, that vendor is definitely our engagement and wedding photographer: Vu, from Shutter Capture Photography. From the beginning and even up until now, nearly a month after our wedding, Vu has been so professional, accommodating, quick and efficient, and just so awesome to work with. We were actually one of his first couples, but he took care of us like he's been doing this for decades. His packages are tailored to meet different needs/wants, he's easy to set up appointments with and to meet, and he's very responsive (and quick!) via email. If you take a look at his portfolio, you can see that his pictures are incredibly vibrant and colorful. He tends to gravitate towards natural, outdoorsy settings - which we also lean towards. For both our engagement and wedding portraits, there were a lot of greenery, trees, and bright flowers in the background, but he also included some urban shots and tried his best to incorporate any ideas or locations that we brought to the table. As a photographer, Vu is very professional: he knows some great locations around town to shoot at and he knows how to work different angles, as well as you - his models! With Vu directing your poses, there's no time to feel awkward, and the pictures end up turning out beautiful. Just trust him and you'll be fine. The turn-around time for his work is relatively quick, too. We received our edited wedding photos about 3 weeks after our wedding, and we're currently working on our wedding album now. In addition to albums, Vu has a lot of products for you to personalize and make your own (depending on your package): USBs, canvas, parent albums, engagement and/or wedding photo slideshow, etc. He even overheard me stressing out over which photo to use as my cover photo on Facebook and created a personalized collage for me! This little act of kindness was one of the many that Vu showed to us while we worked with him. He is such an awesome guy and he TRULY went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and taken care of. We know he'll do the same for you! SIDE-NOTE: Shutter Capture also does other portraits, mostly for babies and families. That said, you can bet this isn't the last time we'll be working with Vu! He's found lifelong customers in us.
