Our venue heavily featured dark wooded interiors that can be incredibly challenging to shoot, but with his expertise and experience, Will and his assistant were able capture spectacular photos. The lighting, composition, and clarity evoked a warm and joyous tone that was true to the feeling of the space without losing detail or emotion.
Additionally, not only is Will technically adept at his job, he also was instrumental in guiding us on how and where photos could be taken around the area in Plymouth where we got married. Thanks to his direction, we have a beautiful set of outdoor photos to go along with our moving interior shots. He even was so prepared as to have umbrellas on hand when a surprise rain shower started during our outdoor photoshoot—and those ended up being some of our favorite shots!

I am SO glad that he was available for our day because he surpassed all of my expectations. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He suggested poses that felt natural and we had so much fun with him. He had ALL our our pictures back to us within 5 weeks. He sent us every picture in color as well as black and white. We received back over 1250 photos and they were all AMAZING. It's so hard to narrow down our favorites! My dad could not get over the lengths he took to get just the right photo, from laying on the ground to climbing a 12 foot ladder, he was truly committed to making sure we got the most fantastic photos at all the right angles. And he didn’t miss a beat! He was there for every important moment and even stayed till the very end to capture our sparkler sendoff. The only downside of Will is that he gave us so many photos in so many color options that it’s hard to chose our favorites! Hire Will, you won’t regret it!

He is insanely talented, his photos are captivating, and he is someone who will literally lay on the ground or get himself wet in the ocean to get the right shot for you. In addition to being a rockstar photographer, you will LOVE his personality. He is so accommodating, genuine, respects your venue staff and timeline that you worked hard to create, and is someone that you will be excited to work with throughout all of the planning. From your very first interaction, he will make you feel so comfortable, that you won't even know you have a photographer following you around on your wedding day! The first time we met Will was the day we did our engagement photos and his level of professionalism, coupled with his warm and inviting personality immediately put us at ease. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch. Will and his assistant Jordan were amazing! They covered all angles and parts of the event, while entirely in the background and not imposing at all. The photos we have received so far are absolutely breathtaking! We are so happy and thankful that we chose Will as our photographer. He captured the day exactly how we were hoping, as well as, in ways that we never could have imagined! You will not regret booking with Shutter Eyes!

I personally started following him on social media right away, as he will post a "sneak peek" from each wedding (if you want!) of what is to come, and the pictures are truly breathtaking! My family and friends are already raving about our sneak peek, and we are so incredibly eager to see the full album! Will is focused, flexible, and passionate. My family said he made them feel very comfortable and was so kind. This is so important to me because all the planning leading up to and especially the day of can feel overwhelming all by itself, so it was very refreshing. Will is big on candids, which I like because those are most people's realest moments, and I myself struggle to be "real" during a staged picture. Of course you still gotta do those obligatory still shots with grandma! Our day was magical, and it was even that much more amazing knowing this team was capturing it! My sisters are engaged and want ShutterEyes for their weddings as well now! There really is NO better choice! CHOOSE SHUTTEREYES PHOTOGRAPHY!

was evident he had done this many times, and knew when and what to capture. He arrived a half hour early and even stayed a half hour late so that he could capture more moments for us. Will was efficient in all communication pre-wedding, during-wedding, and post-wedding, and was “behind the scenes” throughout our ceremony/reception. I have viewed his work on Facebook over and over again, and can’t wait to see our full album. I have only gotten a sneak peak of our photos so far but I can already tell how incredible they are. I cannot highly recommend Will enough and wish we could have another wedding just to use him again!!

As the bride (also serving as logistics/vendor coordinator), I never had to worry about Will - his photography, punctuality, professionalism, and general awesomeness was perfect for our wedding. We had Will photograph our engagement shoot to see how things would go, and we couldn't have been happier with his work and the way he gave us easy instructions to follow that resulted in amazing pictures.
On the day of our wedding, Will brought an assistant and they both did a great job orchestrating different types of pictures, while also being close by in case I wanted to grab them for a particular shot during the reception. We ended up with nearly 1000 photos from our wedding in a variety of color, B&W, etc. and some really cool shots that I didn't even realize he was getting at the time. At one point, Will had an idea for a photo with our bridal party and literally stopped traffic in the middle of the street in Kendall square so he could be at the right distance to get the right depth and angle.
Couldn't recommend Will more as a wedding photographer and will continue to recommend him to any friends getting married in the future in the Boston area.

On the day of the wedding he was SO easy going and fun to be around he made the pictures quick and painless without feeling awkward or forced. I've only seen the sneak-peak images so far, but they're absolutely beautiful. I still get at least one complement on the pictures every day and the wedding was almost a month ago! HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer!

One thing we liked most about Will, was that he takes the traditional photos that you want but he also mixes in more candid shots that come out beautifully. He knows exactly what he is doing so all you have to worry about is having fun at your wedding and he will take care of the rest. Within 24 hours of the wedding, he provided us with 17 photos to enjoy while we wait for the others and WOW are they amazing!

ed and gave us several great options of his own. I wanted an evening photo shoot with the city all lit up at night and he was up to the challenge. He came prepared with additional lighting to make us stand out and suggested the perfect location, the John Joseph Moakley Courthouse. I know it sounds like a weird location if you haven't been there, but it has an awesome view of the city and it's near the bridge that lights up at night which we used and ended up with some really cool pictures. My fiance is in the Air Force and I wanted to have an American flag in a photo because he was in uniform and Will was able to incorporate a flag into the picture after the fact and it was amazing. Our wedding is not till June, but I can't wait to see how those pictures turn out because I'm sure they'll be great.
