I chose Shutterbooth for my wedding in St. Joe this past June primarily because they were the only company offering the glam feature that I really wanted. Initially, the owner, Jen...
n, responded promptly to my inquiry. However, communication became a significant problem as she went completely unresponsive, not answering my calls, texts, or emails. Unfortunately, since Shutterbooth operates with individual owners covering specific areas, other franchises couldn't assist me.
It was only after I contacted another Shutterbooth company that Jenn finally got in touch with me, explaining she had a family emergency. While I empathize with unexpected emergencies, the lack of an out-of-office message left me feeling uneasy. Even after we managed to book everything, her responses remained agonizingly slow, raising doubts about her commitment to my wedding.
The only reason I tolerated this communication issue was because Shutterbooth was the sole provider of the glam feature in the St. Joe area. On the wedding day, Jenn arrived on time, and the photo booth was a big hit. We were pleased to receive a photo book with copies of all our guests' photos, which allowed them to leave us heartfelt messages, which was a nice touch.
After the wedding, I requested a digital copy of all the images. Jenn promptly provided a link, but I didn't download the images immediately. It would have been helpful if she had informed me about the link's expiration. However, when I tried to contact her for a new link, she ceased responding to my emails, texts, and calls for over a month.
I hope that by sharing this review, I'll finally get a response from Jenn. To spare others from the frustration I've experienced, I strongly recommend considering other photo booth companies. There are alternatives that offer the glam feature without the communication hassles.
We had such a great experience with Jenn and the ShutterBooth team for our wedding last September. The team was able to create a custom print out that included our logo for our eve...
nt and had a beautiful set up for our friends and family to use throughout our reception. We also received such a fun book at the end of the night with copies of all of our guests' photos which just made it that much more special! We highly recommend the ShutterBooth team for your Northern Michigan wedding!
ShutterBooth was a huge hit! We ran into a small communication issue (due to no fault of the location), but Jen, who runs this location, was able to smooth it all out and make our ...
vision become reality. It goes to show her dedication to making sure her customers are happy. So many of our guests jumped in for various GIFs and photo sequences. I would absolutely recommend ShutterBooth for your wedding in SW Michigan!
They were so fun! She came out even though COVID-19 was happening and she did an amazing job. Our book to keep turned out great and all our guests loved having the photobooth!
Working with ShutterBooth was a breeze and we really liked our photo booth! Our guest were in it all night long. I enjoyed the different styles they had for the picture stripes. I ...
also really liked the memory book we received with all the photos in it!! Awesome job!! Thank you!!
Our guests loved the photo booth! It was super quick and easy, the strips printed out really fast compared to others we've used in the past. Their strip design library to pick from...
is extensive, or they will use a logo you create on your own which is great. We received the digital copies of all our guests pictures and they were awesome - such great memories to keep!
After initial contact with their eastern michigan counterparts was less than stellar, the western michigan shutterbooth group tried so hard to make it up to us by offering a nice u...
pgrade to our booth even though it was not their fault (or event heir region) that had been disrespectful and it was so appreciated. After booking with them, they were prompt and helpful and our guests had so much fun in our booth that night. We were bale to customize our package to our exact budget and preferences including an open booth that allowed for larger group pictures, a box of props for added fun, and idle hours so that our guests could enjoy dinner uninterrupted by set up. Our photo strip guest book is hilarious and absolutely priceless. You wont regret booking with them!

Fantastic!! Guests loved it!!
Shutterbooth was fun and organized. We could even shut down for a small fee during dinner which helped so our guests can have a turn in the photo-booth. For a small fee we also add...
ed a flash drive of all the photos at the end of the night, and also the props for the guests to use. It was a HUGE hit at our wedding. They had enough help standing by the booth during the whole reception. Shutterbooth is a great vendor for any reception. They were on time, organized, and gave everything you ordered for a great price.
This company was amazing. We had booked the Shutterbooth out of the Detroit area at a Lansing Bridal Fair for a wedding reception in South Bend, IN. When the manager realized that ...
we weren't in their territory, Wade at the Shutterbooth in Grand Rapids agreed to cover our contract. He was awesome, and everyone loved the photos! The price was excellent and the experience was well worth the cost. Best part is we have all the photos as memories!
I am so happy we went with a Photo Booth and even happier about picking ShutterBooth of West and Northern Michigan. Wade is very easy to deal with and his staff the day of the wedd...
ing was so much fun and easy to work with. It helped take our wedding to the next level. Everyone enjoyed themselves in the Photo Booth.
Shutterbooth West Michigan did an amazing job at my wedding! The attendant was friendly and interactive with my guests. The photo quality was good and we got a ton of pictures! The...
booth is not cheap, but well worth it because our guests were entertained all night long.
We looked around the find a photo LOUNGE, not a small booth. We wanted a lounge for larger groups to get in the pictures. I even made a custom 8' x 8' backdrop for the larger ar...
ea. I was assured everything was a go just days before wedding. Wade even expressed an interest in buying the brocade backdrop I had made. When we arrived for the reception there was a small booth with my 8' x 8' backdrop just hanging all over this small booth. The attendant said there must have been a misunderstanding. I was NOT happy, but too late to do anything about it. I felt they did what was easier and maybe never intended to do the lounge. BUYER BEWARE!!! The pics were cute, but NOT what we had planned.
I was VERY disappointed in this company. I had a package special from a local bridal show and they failed to hold up their end. The attendant we had was rude and unenthusiastic. My...
guests were not told they could sign a message next to their pictures.
I was informed I would hear from the attendants boss about the "mix-up" with the package specials and it's been over a week and have not heard anything. Also I am still waiting for my online gallery and disc of pictures from the event. (standard parts of any of their packages)
good service
We, and our guests, loved the photobooth! So much fun to look back at all of the photos and we can't recommend them enough!
