Shuttersound Pictures is owned by husband and wife team Andrew and Desiree who offers unique and exceptional photo & video. Andrew founded Shuttersound Pictures in 2014 to revolutionize how wedding films are shot and edited. Selected for the Short film corner in Cannes and as a filmmaker with a degree in filmmaking he strives to give every couple their personal love story as a cinematic emotional retelling of the day rather than a second row documentary edit.
Desiree joined the Shuttersound Pictures team in 2020. As an international multimedia artist with a background in Cognitive Neuroscience, she brings a unique artistic perspective which compliments the Shuttersound Pictures style.
For Andrew and Desiree it is important to combine photography and videography seemlessly on your wedding day.

ed to do this only because I know what it’s like to plan a wedding and how overwhelming it can be. For context: I ended up planning our wedding 3 months after getting engaged. Now, I would not recommend that unless you’re willing to pray to God about every aspect of your wedding. I had no idea what I was doing because I never planned a wedding before. Why did I do that to myself you ask? Because I listened to my husband as he encouraged and convinced me we could if we asked God for help every step of the way. You probably don’t believe me, but I promise you that was the reality and Andrew captured our wedding in a way better than we could have asked or imagined. His demeanor and character made it an absolute joy to work with him. I wanted our wedding video to feel personal, imitate, and relay the ambiance of our wedding day to the viewer. Andrew is both gifted and talented. I granted him creative control and asked God to help him, as well, because I didn’t want a generic wedding video. So he picked the song, set the vibe, and when I tell you I cried while watching our video…. I’m not even an emotional individual, so hear me when I say Andrew surpassed my expectations. I’m thankful to God that we him and had him capture our wedding day, 11/22/22.

Andrew's style is essentially the opposite of all the corny overdone wedding videos you have seen before. You truly get a finished product that is unique and cinematic. (And the music selection is to die for) Andrew worked fluidly with us, our HUGE bridal party, and our photographer the whole day. We were very pleased with his style and personality. Before we even received our video I had already suggested Shuttersound to a friend getting married. They booked Andrew by seeing previous videos. She texted me the second she saw our video and gushed over it and how happy she was that she booked Shuttersound as well. We got married May 20, 2017 in NJ. We live in San Diego and planned everything from far away. We didn't even meet the duo until the day of the wedding and it couldn't have been easier, smoother and more beautiful. Communication was always spot on, never a delay. Very important when far away. We trusted them completely.
The day of the wedding I didn't even notice them there. All the moments captured were so perfect. I had a bridesmaid even ask me that night if our videographers were even working because she couldn't find them, haha. They were part of the crowd, captured all of our guests and moments.
Both the short video and long video had perfect edits and music choices. I cried, laughed and smiled the whole time. We showed a friend the short edit who recently got married and she loved it so much she wanted to send them her raw footage to redo her own video. I couldn't recommend Shuttersound Pictures to enough people. You will not regret booking them!
