I cannot even say enough about how happy we were to have hired Shutterwinks for our engagement photos and our wedding! We had so much fun with Stephanie and her husband as her assistant taking our engagement photos in the freezing cold of December. The lengths at which Stephanie goes to get a good shot are unmatched. As for our wedding day, Stephanie and her second shooter Cheryl captured our day completely perfectly. The artistry and imagination they both use when taking photos allows for gorgeous shots not only of people, but also perfect lighting and capturing the most beautiful aspects of the background. I felt our photos really highlighted the beauty of the day, our amazing venue, and the emotion we felt throughout the day. I loved the representation of emotion the most because it allows me to go back to how I felt on my wedding day. I really appreciate that Stephanie and Cheryl took all of these things into account for each and every photo and being able to look at our photos and remember all of our favorite parts of the day is a total blessing. We found Stephanie and Cheryl to both be flexible, kind, patient, creative and understanding. They really both went the extra mile to make sure every photo was perfect. Thanks Shutterwinks!

We highly recommend Stephanie for your wedding and other photography needs. As an LGBT couple, we felt the most comfortable with Stephanie out of all of our interviews. We’ve had several experiences with Stephanie before. She’s open to tailoring her standard packages to fit your needs. All of her assistants were friendly and amazing. She works hard to create stunning shots and photo-ops. We were able to receive awesome pictures to share and save. Her editing, color adjustments, and retouching were beautifully done. We were so lucky to have Stephanie cover our wedding photography. We love her!

I have no idea why there are so few reviews here! Stephanie is amazing to work with and I have gotten so many compliments on my wedding and engagement photos. She has an eye for color and shot composition, and some of the best photos come from her moments of inspiration (like noticing a place is really pretty and stopping to get pictures there), but she also listens to you and will make sure to get the shots you want to have. Note, my needed shots were with my cat. She got my cat to look at the camera. If this is not a sign of her talent, I don't know what is. She is also very easy to work with and talk to, and the second shooter we had that day, Miguel, was equally as fabulous. I felt entirely at ease working with her. 100% will use again for photo needs.

I will forever be thankful my matron of honor let me steal her wedding photographer. Our engagement photos and wedding photos were breathtakingly gorgeous and Stephanie was and absolute gem to work with. Thank you thank you THANK YOU for everything you've done for us!

Stephanie was absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for a better photographer. She was on time with every promised date in her contract. She was timely in the delivery of the photos and her edits are amazing. She really has an eye for lighting and body placement. We enjoyed the pace that she kept with everyone - we didn't feel rush, but she certainly kept us on schedule. She was patient with last minute accommodations and very flexible on every detail. Her second shooter was able to get fabulous shots of the guys and my husband while he was getting ready. Stephanie's prices are more than just competitive - what you get from her is worth SO much more. She has a natural talent of staying out of the way but never missing a beat. I felt like I barely saw her during the ceremony and reception but she captured everything! Simply amazing and definitely 5 stars!

Steph and her second shooter Cheryl did such a fantastic job shooting our wedding! It was last month so we've only seen a few photos, but everything we've seen so far is incredible! They both worked so hard all day to make sure we had as many amazing photos as possible. They were so easy to work with and we actually had a lot of fun, too! We can't WAIT to see the rest of the photos. I would highly recommend Shutterwinks to anyone looking for a great photographer!

Stephanie was an absolute dream to work with. We were so short on time for pictures and they hustled and got it done. She was even climbing rocks over the fox river to get great shots. We are so pleased with what we have seen already and its only been a sneak peak. If you want great, this is where to go!
