We booked our Engagement and wedding photos with Shy Hearts Studios and we cannot be any happier! We are so over joyed on how well all of our photos came out! When I first started planning it was very difficult to find vendors who work with alternative brides i.e. gothic brides. When discussing my concept I felt heard and seen!! Which is super important to me. They were happy and open to my ideas and paired me with Heather for my engagement photos and my wedding photos. Joe was our second shooter. Heather was so much fun to work with and it felt like taking pictures with your bestie. The fellas liked working with Joe and we got so many incredible photos back. Gothic brides don't sleep on this vendor!!! They are AMAZZZZZING!!!!!!!

Our photos with ShyHeart turned out absolutely gorgeous! Anita did a fantastic job and we are very happy! She was great at keeping us relaxed and found some beautiful locations for photos!

Love, Love, Love!!! Alex and Matt did such a great job!! I love all of the pictures we have gotten back. They are gorgeous!!! Alex is a dream to work with, she is so much fun and knows how to make you relax so you don't feel weird when taking pictures. She always seems to capture the little moments. Matt goes above and beyond, even hiding in bushes to get the shot.

My now-husband and I booked an engagement shoot since we are both a bit camera shy, but Alex certainly allowed us to relax and shine! We are both impressed with her professionalism and skill. Elaine and Sarah were both amazing shooting my wedding this past Saturday, 2/22. With weather a growing concern during my first look and ceremony I felt comfortable with how quickly they moved but not too quickly they didn’t forgo any pictures! They both were very willing to take any and all requested shots. And even set up shots that we didn’t ask for, which was amazing and I really appreciated. I would not hesitate to hire Shy Heart again for any big event!

Loved working with Shy Heart! Elaine was our primary photographer and Sarah was our secondary. Both were absolutely amazing! So professional and friendly, and captured our special day perfectly. We have soooo many beautiful photos and memories to look back on. Couldn't ask for anything better!

I am the Mother of the Bride and our daughter was married in April at Ponte Winery in Temecula. She and her (now husband!) live in NYC so the wedding planning process was a bit tricky. We both read all reviews, and looked through photos but we then made our final decisions based on my personal interaction with our vendors. I cannot say enough about Brianna and her beautiful photography skills, #1...but then her warm friendly and welcoming personality sealed the deal for us. When our daughter and soon to be son-in-law were here for the holidays, they met with Brianna for their engagement photo session and to get a feel for how they would work together. They came home giving rave reviews about their interaction, her personality and how they felt it was just the right fit for them as well. The engagement photos were amazing! (Mom relieved) As the time grew closer to the wedding, she took the time to answer all of our many questions making us feel as though we were the most important client, planned and discussed timelines, and took into account what was meaningful for us to have as keepsake memories with the photos. Wedding Day: On time, personality on high energy mode. She was in every place at every minute to capture every beautiful moment......Her creativity soared to find beautiful settings for a gorgeous outcome. Areas I had never seen photographed at the venue. Fast forward to receiving all of the photos. They are absolutely beautiful. Flawless. Amazing. The happiness that the bride and groom were feeling, the fun the wedding party was having, the joy the family was experiencing and the overall celebration by guests was captured by her lens and the passion she has for what she does. Shy Heart Studios was so great to work with! We booked their Charming Collection for our wedding, which included a free engagement photo session. Prior to our session, we had a quick call with our assigned photographer, Elaine, to get to know each other. I also didn’t know where would be a good place for photos. I told Elaine, I wanted to go somewhere beachy but also had nature scenery nearby so we could have a few different looks to choose from. Elaine suggested the perfect place for us! A small local beach that had a sand side, a rock side, a beautiful big cave/mountain background, and a nearby lush green field. And I was happy she listened to my initial request and made sure we made the most of our time and got shots in front of all the different scenic backgrounds. I also thought it was a really great way to meet, since she would also be photographing our wedding too. We’re not models, so posing for couple pictures didn’t come natural to us, but Elaine was really good about making us feel comfortable and positioning us and getting the most flattering angles. She’s a true professional! Prior to our wedding date, we had another call to go over the wedding day timeline and shots. I’m really happy we did this to make sure we were all aligned. On the wedding day, she was on time, professional, and spent nearly the whole day with us. She got all the shots I wanted and more! And their turnaround time is really quick! We got our final wedding photos in about a week! I’m so grateful to Shy Heart Studios for capturing all of the special moments from my wedding. Elaine is the absolute best!

Elaine King from Shy Heart Studios was one of the most professional and fun photographers I had the pleasure of working with for my wedding! She was able to handle my big family and cater to my vision. Shy Heart studios are reasonably price and I got a lot in my package for the price I paid! I can not wait to get my photos back!!

Shy Heart studios was great from day one!! They answered all my questions about the packages and helped me pick the right one for our day. We were introduced to Shy Heart Studios as they were one of the recommended photographers by our wedding venue, and I cannot even begin to say how thankful I am that we went with Brianna and her amazing team. Before we had even booked our wedding venue, Brianna was wonderful and flexible in meeting with us to answer all of our questions, and help us make several decisions that we hadn't even considered. Brianna and Melissa were our wedding day photographers, and were absolutely wonderful. It felt like having two extra friends there who were sharing our special day with the same happiness as our friends and family. I truly appreciated the advice throughout the day to help me calm my nerves and anxiety over the timeline. It was an absolutely perfect day, and I am so thankful we chose Brianna and Shy Heart Studios to capture our wedding and engagement photos, and would [and have already!] recommend her and her team to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding.

My husband and I were introuduced to Shy Heart Studios through our wedding vendor. When looking at their pictures on their website I knew that I had to have them photograph our wedding. We were matched up with Brianna, and to say that she is amazing is an understatement. She went above and beyond our wildest expectations! We first met her when we did our engagement photos and we hit it off the minute we met her. On the day of our wedding we had Brianna and Melissa as our photographers, and they did an AMAZING job. They always say that you don’t really remember your wedding because of how fast it went, but with the pictures that Brianna and Melissa captured we are able to relive our wedding whenever we look at them. I was introduced to Shy Hearts Photography by our wedding venue company, and I have to say that out of all the other vendors the venue recommended, Shy Hearts was definitely the best to work with. Cara was our lead photographer for our engagement photos and wedding photos and she did not disappoint! As a bride who was planning her own wedding, there are a million things to do and vendors to book and appointments to make, and Shy Hearts made the process so much easier for me. They were very responsive with emails and calls (this was VERY important to me because I had vendors who wouldn’t respond back to me for 2 weeks) and once I had booked with Shy Hearts, Cara reached out to me right away to introduce herself to me! Not only that, I was a bit nervous before our engagement photo session, but Cara guided us the whole entire way from which way we should pose to where we should go next to take pictures with amazing scenery. On our wedding day, Cara came early with her assistant photographer and was constantly keeping track of where we should take photos and who we should take it with. She helped make the day a little less hectic and knew exactly what she was doing which I’m grateful for. Cara was very professional, punctual, and an amazing photographer to work with. Her work is awesome and all in all, I was VERY happy with booking with Shy Hearts! Thank you Cara and Shy Hearts for capturing all the amazing moments during our engagement/wedding day!

Shy Heart Studios was absolutely amazing the day of our wedding. We had photographer Lauren and we loved her! She was so professional yet fun and kept us on schedule. She knew the venue really well and where to take the best pictures. We will be forever grateful to Lauren for capturing our special day!

Although my family is from SoCal, my husband and I are from Toronto, Canada and were quite hesitant deciding on photographers without being able to do an engagement shoot to really get a feel for our wedding day photography. After seeing some of the pictures at Vellano, we called up ShyHeart and my worries were put to rest by the reassuring team. Our executive photographer, Alex, had a bubbly personality and communicated by phone or email as per my request when needed. On the day of the wedding, Alex and associate photographer, Sarah coordinated with my groomsmen to get some getting ready shots as my normally OCD brain decided to take an unwarranted LOA. Despite some mix up with our wedding officiant and uncooperative family members who just HAD to get their own shots which could have resulted in some disastrous photos, our awesome photographers still caught wonderful images of our ceremony and even talked some sense into our family members to get out of the way without being rude. As more disaster would strike, our giant bus full of guests including the my husband and I were stuck in traffic on the way to the reception which caused a huge delay in the timeline we had set up. However, sweet Alex and Sarah reassured us and guaranteed that they would capture our long-awaited bridge shot, which was one of our reasons for choosing the venue! The ladies ensured that we were able to catch the sunset in the rotunda - my husband’s one request - even re-arranging the reception timeline with the DJ so that we didn’t miss our opportunity. They caught amazing candid shots of my family and friends throughout the reception which bring me back to that wonderful day every time I look back on those photos. My husband and I were very lucky that we did not have to go through an endless list of photographers to find the best one for us. We are thankful that we made the perfect choice for our wedding photography and we have hundreds of amazing pictures to help us relive that special day. We want to thank Alex, Sarah and ShyHeart for their great work in making sure that our wedding day is commemorated forever.

We love, love, love our engagement and wedding photos. Lauren is awesome. We hit it off from the moment we meet. It’s like we had known her for years. We felt so comfortable with her that it was easy for us to relax and have fun while she took our pictures. Our family really enjoyed Lauren and had lots of fun with her. Brianna Caster Photography was truly the best way to go! Brianna herself shot the wedding with Melissa assisting, and they were so great! My fiancé and I had a HORRIBLE experience with a previous photographer due to several discriminatory issues. Needless to say, we did not use this agency for our wedding and cancelled our contract. However, Brianna stepped right in and gave us hope that we would still be able to get beautiful shots of our day to come! She shot our engagement session and our wedding and exceeded our expectations!! Both her and Elaine played so well off one another and got such amazing and creative shots!! We planned our wedding from an entirely different country and throughout the entire process, Brianna amazing and always readily available to answer any questions and ease this process for us (communication is KEY). I am so beyond happy with Shy Heart Studios. We had Cara and Bianca as our photographers and just LOVED them. I am a portrait photographer, so picking a wedding photographer was REALLY challenging for me. I looked for a few months before narrowing it down to about 25 possible photographer companies. It just so happened that my fiance and I went to a wedding for a close friend where Cara and Bianca were the photographers and we both were so impressed with their style and energy. During dinner we approached them and asked for a card and to my surprise Shy Heart Studios was already on my list. So that night I emailed them and set up an interview, as soon as we finished the interview I knew Cara was a perfect fit for us, so we booked her and Bianca for our wedding. Soon after we did our Engagement shoot and we had a blast, Cara made us feel comfortable and worked with our goofy-ness. We got the pictures way faster than we expected and loved every single one! In the time before the wedding the office and scheduling staff (I mostly spoke with Ann who was wonderful) helped me through all the steps in making a schedule for the wedding that would get everything we needed photographed in a reasonable time frame. The morning of the wedding Cara was there early and was able to scout out the best places for our first look pictures and then they very efficiently started taking pictures of us getting ready, and were troupers through all the stuff that always happens at weddings. (make-up problems, running late ect.) they stayed on top of things and kept us on schedule while keeping amazing attitudes! We loved having them there with us and cant wait for the pictures!

Brianna recently shot our wedding in upstate NY in September 2015. She took control of the situation and was a real professional throughout. The shots came out better than I possibly could have imagined. I especially liked Brianna's skill at conveying our personalities through her images. She made the whole process comfortable - making sure we got the shots she knew we wanted while allowing us to be ourselves and experiment. We did not have to worry about anything - all of the details were taken care of. I could not have asked for better images to remember our special day.

Brianna is insanely talented. She was able to make our pictures not so typical by finding different ways to shoot and picking some amazing locations on the property that she spent time scouting the day before the event. She has her idea and then quickly executes it so we were never standing around waiting for the next shot. Our photos came out beautiful, our "sneak peek" was over 100 images and both my husband and I can't stop looking at them.
