Shy is able to make our awkward movements look intentional and poised. She just has a great eye for details and lighting and knowing what will look good. She’s also just super kind and fun to chat with. Lastly, she helped us choose a couple of our other vendors, and they were perfect, which just goes to show the vendors you choose will likely enjoy working with other vendors that match your vibe.

I got an email 3 days after our wedding stating they would be ready in 4-6 weeks and we would have sneak peaks within the next few days. I got 1 picture for a sneak peak, 7 weeks later, and it also took 3 months to get our entire set of pictures, after being told 4-6 week, then was told 6-8 weeks, then again 10-12 weeks. It rained on our wedding day, so I realize pictures can be limited. I was supposed to do my bridals the day of our wedding, she literally took 5, all in the same location with the same pose. I’m even considering hiring someone else to take bridals even though our wedding is over, but for as much as we spend on a dress, you want good pictures in it, mine were terrible. Our wedding pictures were ok, but I was extremely disappointed there actually weren’t more, or better pictures of what I asked for. Maybe she had an off day this day, but this was the one thing I stressed most about choosing and I feel I was extremely let down. Word of advice, be very specific on what you want, chances are you won’t get it otherwise. She does take good pictures and was easy to work with, but the end product was just a disappointment.

w to just listen and go with Shy's ideas, suggestions, and tips which turned into amazing bridal photos that were so hard NOT to share until post wedding. Shy and Lauren were already familiar with the venue and we left it up to them on when and where to take photos. They covered eight hours of our day from getting ready, crying, hugging, dancing, laughing, and probably some falling. I cant wait to see our wedding photos but I have no doubt they'll be awesome! Don't hesitate to book Shy Laurel as your photographer, you wont regret it!
