We were able to select which Siagel DJ we were interested in with availability on our date and we had a great intro conversation with Brian, who understood what our goal was for the night, which was to have the best dance party of our lives. The Siagel team provided great support and made sure the Brian had all the information he needed to be aligned the the timeline our coordinator put together. On the big day, Brian nailed it--everything from the timing of the ceremony music, to making announcements, to making sure that people felt like they couldn't leave the dance floor because they were having so much fun dancing to all the best songs. There was not a single slow moment or song that caused people to leave the dance floor. We cannot recommend Brian and the Siagel team enough!

resence at our wedding was a highlight for all of the guests and for us. I am so grateful that she traveled from Massachusetts to Long Island! She worked so hard, was communicative, organized, energetic and above all else, SO kind. The music was incredible and we got so many compliments all night about it! Before the wedding, she really listened to us when we told her our favorite songs and artists, and the vibe we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. She incorporated so many (I would almost say all) of those songs throughout the night and came up with so many others that we loved just as much and were thrilled to hear! Cate also executed our scheduled timeline seamlessly. There are many moving parts involved for a Jewish wedding and every time she got on the mic, she was such a calming yet upbeat presence — I was really able to just relax and have fun knowing she was running everything so smoothly. She was also just so sweet with all the guests and fit right in with our friend group! I will be recommending her and Siagel to everyone I can :)

nner. The day before my wedding we had our scheduled call with our DJ. It went well and we discussed all the details of how we wanted things to go. Unfortunately, he didn’t execute things as we had discussed. One big request from me was that our parent dances were not announced. I explained to him that I just wanted him to play the song and my dad and I would find each other on the dance floor, knowing that it was our song. We would dance together UNANNOUNCED because that’s what we wanted. More of a “must play these songs” list than a “parent dances” list. I winced when he asked everyone to stand in a circle to watch us dance and it’s the only thing that took away from my day a little. This also happened with a song I asked him to play for my best friend and I. We made up a dance to a song when we were 10 so I asked him to play the song and he had everyone stand in a circle and watch us do the dance we made up as kids. NOT at all what I wanted or was prepared for. My bestie had no idea it was coming and I felt bad she was put on the spot like that. There also was no explanation he just told everyone to circle up, so about 200 of the guests had no context of why they were watching us do this ridiculous dance. I mean, we killed it, but still… When announcing the bridal party into the reception he announced my parents then forgot to announce my husband’s parents which were supposed to be next. So they just stood there at the entrance waiting for him to notice and announce them but he never did. A bit awkward. He also sang along to the songs through his microphone very loudly and off key a few times. We now laugh about it with our guests when looking back, but it was a little embarrassing in the moment. Overall he had GREAT energy and was really a nice guy. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and we had the best night ever. I think the party could have gone all night if our venue didn’t have an end time. So overall we had an okay experience but the announcing the dances thing really bugged me as that was not how I wanted it to go/ what we discussed

He is able to adjust based on the flow of the event and pace of the dance floor. We had high expectations and he didn’t disappoint!

We did have an issue with communicating with our coordinator due to our emails going to her spam, but appreciate that she worked directly with our venue coordinator so we didn’t have to be the middle man on logistics and could enjoy the week leading up to our wedding.

He rolled with the punches the day of our wedding that was at a very non-conventional venue and made the day flow seamlessly. thetic throughout it all! Michael Siagel himself worked with me to draft the original proposal, and he was so nice and honest. Kerry, our coordinator, was incredible and so well organized --- She worked on our schedule tirelessly to make sure all the details were correct, the vibe was going to be exactly what we wanted, and was super sweet and patient during the several months we corresponded. The schedule she created was so stellar that I wound up sharing it with my caterer and Day of Coordinator as well. We wound up working with a livestream vendor, and Siagel was invaluable and super accommodating there -- They helped make sure the audio came through loud and clear for our virtual guests! Kenny, the DJ and MC, was so lovely and helpful -- He wore a smile on his face the whole time and was such a kind and on-top-of-it presence. He checked in with us a couple of times to check whether we wanted toasts to begin, etc. We danced the hora with our guests after the cocktail hour, and Siagel was great at making sure the music started and stopped exactly when we wanted it to, and finding the right song to dance to. Other than that, we didn't have a dance floor and instead preferred a chill, conversational vibe -- They came through there, too. We also rented games through Siagel that wound up being a big hit with our guests -- cornhole, giant jenga and more! To sum up, Siagel was DELIGHTFUL and one of my favorite wedding vendors to work with.

The Museum we got married at requires a lot of movement of sound equipment, and Brian, as a one man army, was able to set up and run a great ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, all from different locations-- it was truly impressive. Everything at the ceremony and reception went perfectly from walk-out song to first dances, and Brian helped amp up the dance floor throughout the night. Definitely a strong endorsement from us!

All of the moving pieces that go into planning the event were streamlined into one questionnaire that was simple to complete, and was easy to update as we finalized our plans. We were so happy with the professionalism and enthusiasm with which we were met through our planning process. Working with Jodi Gold was a breeze! She was super responsive and helpful in our planning process. Her organization helped create our timeline and priority list, and made it easy to apply last minute changes to the ceremony. DJ Jasper was our MC for our reception and did an fantastic job. He kept the party going and timed things well so that our guests were never bored throughout the evening. We are so thankful we picked him for our event and would love to work with him again if we had the chance!

her for the correct timeline/song list during our rehearsal dinner. DJ himself was fantastic though. We were assigned Kendal as our point-person. Throughout the entire process, she was flighty, unorganized, and non-communicative. She had promised a meeting with our DJ in July, which I constantly had to check in with her about via email and phone calls. I don't think it would have happened if I hadn't bugged her at least three or four times. The biggest problem by far was approving our timeline. Originally, she promised a timeline in July, and I completely forgot about it until our DJ mentioned it during our final call the week before our wedding. What she sent me was completely wrong. There were items thrown in that were the opposite of what we wanted (as one example, we said in the original intake that we wanted the father-daughter dance first, then the couples' first dance immediately after - they had our dance first and then the father-daughter dance an hour later). And there were changes to the intake I had requested throughout the summer which she said she recorded, but apparently never did. I wouldn't have been angry if she had just fixed it in a timely manner. I understand things get lost in communication, and that's why it's important to have a final approval. I asked for the changes, didn't hear back from her, and had to nag her via email and phone call for three days. She kept saying she would make the change and email it to me, but it would never arrive. I still didn't have it the day before the wedding, and we played back-and-forth during my rehearsal dinner to receive it. Finally, she sent two timelines. One with some items still incorrect, the other all correct. She said she didn't know why her emails weren't going through. Again, I understand that technology sucks sometimes. But we wouldn't have been in this position if she hadn't waited until the literal 11th hour to communicate with me about our timeline. The only reason I'm giving Siagel 2 stars instead of 1 is because of our amazing DJ, Michael A. He was so reassuring throughout the process, especially when I was worried about him having the correct information after Kendal's poor communication. He actually found us during pictures and confirmed the timeline right then and there, which allowed us to finally relax and enjoy the day. On the day-of, he totally understood our wedding's lowkey vibe and knew how to keep the party bumping without any of the obnoxious DJ tropes. We also experienced a medical emergency during the reception which meant I had to leave my wedding early, and I was told he handled it with grace. He gave updates to our guests and kept spirits high on the dance floor for the remaining time. I can't recommend DJ Michael A. highly enough. If you do decide to go with Siagel and get assigned Kendal, ask for someone else.

E We also used Siagel Productions for our photo booth, and if you are thinking of getting a photo booth but aren’t sure… DO IT! Our guests used the photo booth the entire time it was open, they got copies of the photo strips and we did too! We loved looking back at all the pictures the next day. We opted for the scrapbook, but they ran out of room (which was a little disappointing). One of the best parts was, we got to create the photo strip and what the design would be. We would most definitely recommend Siagel Productions in the future to all of our friends and family!

My guests were raving about the music all night and that is just how I like it! Our lighting production was also done by Siagel Productions and it really took the space to the next level. They knew exactly how we wanted it and, again, our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. One of the lighting techs, Jay Dowd, made the lighting reflect the sun setting and it was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend DJ Eric Spindler and Siagel Productions for any and all of your party needs. They sure do know how to party!!

All the little details I wanted, the last minute cancellation that didn't result in an empty chair (because she took care of it), the several different transport busses and vans that had to be in a variety of places and were all on time, the changing order of our processional vs recessional, etc. The list of all the little things and details we wanted to go right on our wedding day did. In the months leading up, Jodi was extremely helpful and understood that there were certain things that I needed help making a decision on (sometimes to a fault i wasn't a very opinionated bride). I was worried since I didn't have a "strong opinion" that planning would be hard, but she did a great job talking me through pros/cons and helping make a decision, or, in the case of florals, taking only a handful of photos on my pinterest board and building out the most beautiful reception decoration. Huge thanks to Jodi for ensuring our wedding day was as special as it could be, strongly recommend using her for your day, too! We also worked with DJ Spindler for our DJ. We had folks come up to us, several times unprompted -"did you tell the DJ what to play??? he did such a great job curating fun music!" We did not provide that many recommendations.. he just seemed to have the right intuition on what would get folks up and dancing all night long!

We watched their videos and LOVED the vibe they put out on the dance floor. The one DJ that stood out to us was DJ Eric Spindler. He was fun, upbeat, not too aggressive with getting people out on the floor. They just naturally went up there. The day of the wedding he KILLED it. Like seriously nailed it. My husband and I are bipolar when it comes to music, we love rock, country, hip hop, jazz, like literally were all over the place and this guy played all the songs we wanted and more! From the moment he opened the dance floor to the very last second we had the venue the dance floor was PACKED! We are so thankful for Siagel Productions, Michael Siagel, Paige LaDue and of course DJ Eric Spindler for making the best night of our lives come together, but giving our guests the best night ever as well!

Michael hooked us up with DJ Kenny and it was by far the best/easiest decision ever. We had an awesome phone call wi the him and he put us completely at ease. He got our vibe, he knew what we were looking for, he got the crowd going! He really knew what he was doing and people kept coming up to me saying how sick he was! The we worked with the other owner of Siagel, Steven Siagel.... he is the most amazing human being on this planet. Like I said earlier my husband’s family are full of musicians and we wanted to make them feel at home so Steven helped us create an awesome duo for the ceremony and an awesome trio for cocktail hour. They lit up the room with awesome jazz hits and people were loving it!!! Siagel seriously had it all, there is nothing you can’t do with them! I cannot wait to use them again in the future! Thank you Siagel Team!

ur first plan we were going to have DJ Savant who was increible, but with the postponement he was booked, and so we went with DJ Kenny. Kenny is so fun and down to earth. So many people have talked to us about how awesome he was. Additionally, in our first meeting, Kenny said something that touched both of us. When we told Kenny that Arielle was from France, he immediately asked if there were any announcements or information we would like him to say in French, adding that while he doesn’t know the language if we sent him a script he would practice it. That gesture alone told us that he was the right pick. Furthermore, Kenny made time to come see our venue and talk through the original processional music that was composed for us. He was so down to earth, fun, engaging, and just an all around amazing DJ!

Once Paige put us in touch with him, it was so easy to work with Kenny — he was easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful in figuring out specifics of our big day. We had a somewhat tricky garden setup, and Kenny took the time to help us figure out how and where to set the speakers up, how many of them we need, and general wedding music timeline. And on our wedding day, everything was just perfect! He made sure everything was set up properly and everything ran smoothly, and when there was an unexpected rain situation, he was front and center in helping everyone move things around with no stress. In the end, things came together so well, and the dance part of the evening was "straight fire" as a guest put it. We had so many people come up to us and compliment on how great our DJ was. He captured the group's and our vibe so well that someone even said, "wow, is this not your own playlist and he's making it for you guys as he goes along?"! The dance floor was always full and popping, and our event was just the big post-COVID everyone-vaccinated party we were hoping it would be, huge thanks to him. Overall, Siagel was incredible to work with — I’d highly recommend them to anyone!

The day of our event we were so excited to have DJ Kenny. He was professional, happy, and made a micro-wedding feel like it was a big party! He was also cautious to follow all COVID-19 guidelines. He was not "in your face" but provided a wonderful soundtrack for our wedding! We could not have been happier!

as a little disappointed come our wedding. The problems I had weren’t noticed by our guests, but at the end of the day, we were paying for the service and we were not really satisfied. It took us over two weeks to pick the perfect songs for our parents/grandparents and wedding party to walk in to. Instead of the upbeat song we chose for the bridal party (which many had rehearsed entrances to), the slower, older song (that we chose for the parents/grandparents) continued to play. We only had 4 songs on our “Must Play” list. Two were not played and had very sentimental value to my husband and me. One song my husband had to ask the DJ to play and when he requested it, he was first brushed off and said he’d get to it. He didn’t notice the person making the request was the groom. We were also able to pick the last song. I had pictured our wedding ending on a specific song that had even more sentimental value to my husband and me. It was played, but it wasn’t last and this was really upsetting. We were also required to book and pay for a room for the DJ to stay in the night of the event. 100% understandable especially because our venue was a few hours from Siagel’s “home base.” At the end of the night, I made sure our DJ had all of his hotel information. This was when he informed me that he wouldn’t be using it. It was a significant cost for this room, and it was past the available time to cancel it or give it to someone else. His near-future plans included a flight, so this upset me as he knew at least 24-48 hours before our wedding that he wouldn’t be needing it. On the plus side, he didn’t play anything on the “Do Not Play” list, he showed up on time, and our guests had a good time. These are the only reasons I gave 3 stars versus 2.
