From the beginning, I told Sierra that we were more interested in candid photos of our wedding, which aligned great with her photo-journalistic approach. Her pictures tell the story of our wedding and looking at them is like reliving the day all over again. In a year where so many people couldn't be at our wedding, these pictures have been a god-send and we are so grateful to Sierra for capturing these memories.

We were able to meet at a brewery and learn a bit more about her and her style, and knew almost immediately that she was the photographer for us. Neither me nor my husband have ever been super comfortable in front of a camera, but Sierra helped us stay calm and laugh through our engagement session, which made the day of the wedding super easy. She made sure we had a day-of timeline and talked about all the photos we wanted to have. On the day of, she kept everyone in the bridal party laughing and comfortable in front of the camera. Our photos are amazing and I can’t wait to work with her in the future!

first time we spoke it seemed as though we’d known each other from long before so it never felt like I was hiring a stranger to take capture the most important moment of our lives. Although it was her first time photographing a wedding in Yosemite, I knew I could trust her to capture my vision and let me say she did not disappoint! Not only did she manage to capture such beautiful pictures but when all my wedding plans went awry (the day before) due to various reasons she stepped right in to help me develop a Plan B. I can’t rave enough about Sierra and her work!

My husband and I were nervous about our shoot cuz we don’t take pictures often and not to be conceited but she made us look soo good. She captured how we are as a couple and continuously gave us everything we wanted and more. I remember going back to her place after the shoot and eating pizza and watching the bachelor while she edited our photos. It was like we knew her for a very long time. Come our wedding day, she took all the best photos and she was honestly the buffer I needed for awkward moments. I’m so honored and thankful for meeting Sierra. She is a boss photographer, mom, and friend. I’d recommend her a million times over and I plan on having her shoot all of our life’s big events. You wouldn’t go wrong picking her.

spectacular. She helped pin boutonnieres on us and our wedding party and helped us keep ahead of schedule with pictures all through the day. On top of all that the pictures she takes are amazing! She had a sneak peak of pictures from the wedding ready for us the next morning! I don't know how she does it but she was amazing. As the photographer, Sierra even coordinated with everyone else to make sure we were at certain spots at certain times on the day of the wedding which made it so much less stressful! She even delivered the photos to us in such a timely manner, I don't know how she did it! Her energy is contagious and you can tell she truly loves what she does. During our engagement shoot she did such a good job directing us and coming up with fun and romantic poses that we never felt awkward or lost. Not only did she take beyond gorgeous photos that went way above our expectations, but she finished editing them and sent them all over to us within just a couple days! Sierra was thankfully available and was so sweet. She was very professional when discussing wedding timelines, her style, and prices, and always kept in touch until the wedding day. The day of the wedding Sierra arrived early, and kept us calm when things started to get a little crazy. She was not only our photographer but stepped in when our coordinators needed a little help getting guests from place to place. She made us feel completely calm in front of the camera. She knew exactly what moments to capture and kept us laughing the whole time. It was seriously like hanging out with a long time friend. I’m sure her ability to make us feel comfortable is why our pictures turned out absolutely AMAZING! They were better than I could have imagined. It was like reliving every little perfect moment when we opened our gallery. Now I just keep trying to think of any excuse to hire her for a shoot lol. Thank you so much for everything Sierra! We were concerned about feeling awkward and stiff but Sierra helped us loosen up and relax from the first moment. In addition to being a talented photographer Sierra was so helpful with the planning process. I asked her questions about what I should do with my dress, makeup and set up for the day of. She gave me thoughtful adviced and was so sweet and caring. I'm so happy we met Sierra - talented, kind, just an absolute gem of a human, and a pleasure to work with. I ended up winning an engagement shoot with her by entering during a bridal expo, and because of that we chatted about prices and I found out she does personalized packages! Because of what we set up, I was able to add more time to my wedding day than I even needed :) While wedding planning, my father passed away. Sierra was so understanding of my need for time off of coordinating and wedding talk, and even offered to come and capture our last moments as a family <3 I will always be grateful for that heartfelt offer, even though we didn’t get to take her up on it. She was perfectly punctual on my wedding day, and made me feel so comfortable! I freeze up in front of cameras, and she’s helped me feel so calm both days that she’s phtographed my husband and I. I’m moving in the spring, but hope to come back for future photo sessions (hello maternity shoots!!! Lol) with her. I can honestly say I’ve never loved a photographer more, and I hope to always be able to follow her journey. We love you Sierra!!

I was getting married and like every bride, I had my "must haves" list! Photography was my #1. I knew the day would unfortunately have to end, but the photos you will have forever! Before the big day, we had our engagement session with her. My husband and I are corky and totally awkward when it comes to taking pictures! We shared that with Sierra in hopes she could make magic happen! That whole session she had us laughing even though we were completely out of our element! I thought I was going to be disappointed with myself because of my own insecurities, but she made us feel entirely comfortable! At one point, we were completely lost in each other's eyes, really just embracing the love we have for one another and it came through in our photos! When I say jaw dropping, that's really an understatement! Our session came out gorgeous seriously all because of Sierra and her expertise! It doesn't end there! After our wedding- which by the way, our photos were again stunning! As you can imagine, the day was hectic and overwhelming. I CANNOT THANK Sierra enough for helping me through the chaos that was going on around me! She showed up as our photographer, stepped in as a coordinator and left as our friend! She was my saving grace that day! From that point on, we knew that we wanted Sierra to be a part of our story capturing the most beautiful moments because she adds a special touch to them all! She also had a second amazing shooter, Jill, meet my groom and the groomsmen at a different hotel location across town earlier in the day to capture some awesome shots of the guys. During the ceremony and the party she was running all over the place and captured great shots of all the family and friends. e(s). In fact, Sierra photographed our engagement photos a few years ago and I hire her every year to take our family photos! She's not only that talented, but she is personable, and caring. In regards to another person who commented in regards to losing their deposit; sorry, but a deposit is a totally normal thing to pay when booking any service for a wedding. I am a wedding makeup artist and I can tell you that things book out WELL in advance. Even with some notice, there is no guarantee that day/service can be booked by someone else. It's part of planning an event. I strongly recommend booking Sierra for any photography service that you may need.
